About six months ago I came here for the first time. I was super tired of the wait at other urgent cares in the area. I immediately connected with the doctor here and knew this was a better, more personal practice. I have since brought two of my children in for various matters and received the same compassion and care. I appreciate that the practitioners here worked with me when I did not want to use certain medications with my children. My prior experiences with urgent care seemed to be that other places were very quick to prescribe medications that may not have been necessary. I really tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt. I've been here once- we had to wait almost TWO hours but I had to get tested so whatever. This time around my 18 month old daughter needs to be tested. We've been here since 12 PM- it is not 1:50. My daughter has a fever and being in the car like this for two hours is really difficult. Where I drew the line is I began to see cars that pulled up after me get serviced BEFORE me. I called back to ask for an estimate time and the lady had no answers at all- not only that but she was also rude and said they were just trying to get threw. Now I'm not asking for special treatment of anything like that- and I don't think my time is more valuable than anyone else's. Where I have a problem is atleast 1) be able to give some type of estimation or idea and 2) don't order pizza and have it dropped up while you have a full parking lot. After the pizza arrived I didn't see anyone come back out for atleast 20 mins. Everyone has to eat but there's got to be more effective ways to do this: But because this is one of the only places that actUlly does rapids in a rapid time frame- it's like a nescessity. I took my sick, 7 month old daughter here on Monday night that was exposed to covid and the receptionist was very rude on the phone when I called and ask what I had to do. She rudely stated that I was fill out the paperwork online and email them and acted like she was pissed off she had to explain the directions to me. After we sent all the paperwork, someone came out to the car, swabbed her nose for covid and said they would call me by 2 pm the next day with results and quickly left. No one listened to her lungs or anything (on call pediatric nurse said her breathing was a little fast and to take her to urgent care). They never called me with the results. I called Wednesday morning and they said "the lab is gonna call you prolly tonight or tomorrow". No one told me that - they said 24 hours. This place sucks. I would not go back here even if I was dying. I called asking if I could be seen for mastitis at their facility or if I'd be better going to ER. They told me they can absolutely treat me, to come in. So I did. I was then told when I got there that since I had vomited the night before they couldn't let me in but would examine me in my car. I told them I wasn't comfortable pulling out my breast while sitting in my car.....obviously. They told me they would see what they could do... I waited over an hour in my car for them to come tell me I could come inside. Where I waited for about another 45 minutes. I was given antibiotics. Following day had full body hives to antibiotics, not their fault, I call and ask if they could change my script as I was having a reaction. They left me on hold for 17 minutes without even asking what type of an allergic reaction I was having. Could have been asphyxiation for all they knew. Finally got someone on the phone they made a case note in my file and said they'd call me back when they got the chance, that was three hours ago and I still haven't heard from them. I've used this Urgent Care for myself and my children. Since it's next door to my primary care doctor, it makes it convenient to look up past treatments and medical history. They have always treated us with respect and really listen to any concerns or questions. The doctors and staff are terrific with my adult son who has extreme anxiety issues as well. They know how to speak to him to calm his fears. read more

Definitely WOULD NOT recommend this place. I sat in their parking lot for 2 hours playing phone tag with them to get a covid test. Every time I would talk to a receptionist, they would have a rude and unprofessional attitude and hung up on me MULTIPLE times and thought it was funny. If I could rate this place 0/5 stars. Worst place ever. Got there before they opened. They turned on the lights at 8am. I called and I could see them from my parked car chit chatting while I was calling them. Finally "Tammy" answered. Rude as ever. Said their was a $50 fee for a Covid test requested by a doctor "that's on them" was her reply. Major attitude. Watched for 15 minutes while I was the only one there while they chit chatted with each other, gave me horrible side eye looks and continued to ignore me. If I owned this practice, I would want to know. Plus, just look at all of the other reviews. Same. Poor excuse for an urgent care facility. Arrived before they opened hoping to get my daughter in to get a covid test, but there is nothing quick about this place. After speaking with someone who was borderline rude (giving her the benefit of the doubt because I know healthcare facilities have it rough these days), I emailed ID and insurance card and waited. We ended up waiting over an HOUR AND A HALF in the car before there was any communication with us. Someone finally came out, swabbed her, said we'd get the results later and was very quickly out of there. I had to shout out the window to get her to turn back around to have her answer a question. She said they had same day PCR so we would hear from them sometime today. Entire thing took over 2 hours. Waited all day for result and 45 min before closing, hadn't heard from them so I called. Was on continuous hold for 50 min and no one ever picked up and then office closed. Just ridiculous. Do not recommend and will never return. read more

The staff were extremely unprofessional and rude when my husband sought treatment for his elevated heart rate with COVID. He went to the facility because the receptionist recommended over the phone that he come in due to his heart rate monitor reading. Upon arrival, the nurses were condescending and rude. One particular nurse seemed to disapprove of his COVID vaccination status and advised him to not wear his heart monitor because it is "causing him anxiety". I advise that anyone seeking medical care to avoid this facility. read more

Horrible urgent care, quite slow and dogmatic. Customer service is poor and unprofessional. Very disappointed.

Do not go here! One of the front desk staff members, Bre, is just about the most rude and cruel human beings, refusing to bring out paper copies of forms that are necessary to be seen. YOU CANNOT OBTAIN MEDICAL SERVICES HERE UNLESS YOU HAVE A SMART PHONE-per front desk and office manager. After driving all the way back home and filling out their forms, Bre at the front desk claimed she never received them. This place is joke and waste of time.They put up more barriers to care than necessary and are not interested in helping patients obtain necessary medical services. Doctors are never on staff and they have nurses practitioners playing to role of doctors. The office manager is also incredibly rude, insensitive and ignorant and highly in need or more training. read more

Waited for 45 minutes and left because there were still several people ahead of me. I was with my 7 month old sick child who doesn't understand patience. When I asked the receptionist about the wait, she was so rude to me! I wasn't expecting to cut the line, just wanted a time frame so I could decide to stay or not. They don't staff appropriately and the waiting room is tiny so you're jammed in there. I would recommend going else where. I went to another place and was in and out in 30 minutes! Complete waste of time, bad experience and will never go again! They should aslo consider hiring a new receptionist who has some compassion for people. She was so condescending and rude to me, she's the main reason I'm leaving this review! read more

The nurse practitioner was just rude and refused to help me. I woke up with chills and a fever. She basically scolded and lectured me saying I didn't fit the criteria to for medication because I wasn't sick enough. My primary care physician called me at home the next morning because he got a report that I went to urgent care and received nothing. He immediately called in a prescription for tamiflu. Because I have diabetes he wanted to do whatever possible to shorten my illness. I even mentioned my diabetes and how it's hard for me to get over illness but the nurse practitioner just ignored me. Never ever go to this place unless you want to be lectured and treated like a child. read more

Worst experience ever! Came in at 10 with severe sore throat. I volunteered to come back at later time since they already had 5 people waiting and only one went back in 1/2 hour! I was told they would call me when I could get in since I'm only 3 minutes away. 5 hours later when I called I was told they still have 5 people waiting and if I come now I can get back to the end of line! If that was case, why didn't they just tell me up front and I would have waited at 10 instead of tying up my entire day!! Somebody please open another Urgent Care in Clarkston!!! Do not come here today. Since the other office closed this is it in town. And the amazing part is they still have only one doctor on staff. Why wouldn't they add another doctor when they're the only game in town? There was 4 people in the waiting room when I arrived one hour and 15 mins ago and I'm still waiting. Take care of your patients and pay for another doctor on the weekends!!! read more

Rude staff. Extremely long waits. I waited for over three hours. Most of that time spent wondering where the staff was. No one at the desk. After waiting for an hour and a half in the waiting room I was stuck in a room and told the dr would be in shortly, it was over an hour and a half later before that finally happened. I had to go find a staff person and ask when I would be seen, because no one even checked in that whole time. Pathetic service. read more

Don't waste your time and money. Went there today and have been there in the past with no problems. Got in quickly with no wait, but when i got to the room to be seen had to wait fifteen to twenty minutes. That was the first problem. Then some hack of a physician assistant who fills in time to time named Jeffrey Tuck finally decide he can see me. Don,t know were he got his training probably a certification out of the back of a magazine. He didn't do much of anything. Just said you need a prescription and that was it. I told him though I usually need a shot of antibiotics also. But his response was that he didn't feel comfortable giving me one and that the prescription would be enough. Well he has never seen me before talking to me like he knows everything about how my body reacts to medicine. And the thing is the last time I was in there they gave me one. Even the lady who was the nurse has gave me shots there multiple times and did she say anything to him about it no. she's to worried about talking to other people instead of doing her job. Only go there if the hack of a physician assistant Jeffrey Tuck (who wants your money to do nothing for you) is not there. Then maybe you will get qualified help. read more
