Very clean facility, staff was great, had a bit of misunderstanding but I had a PA call me and rectify the situation..

Unfortunately, this business and Company care about money and not patient care. I have been using them for over five years and every time I go in the main concern is how they are getting paid. I have been getting the same procedure every year for the last five years and now they denied my service because of mixups with their billing and insurance companies. I contacted my insurance company and they have no idea what Pine knob urgent care is talking about. Also I explained how they denied my service and Blue Cross blue shield is going to launch an investigation into this practice. Also wrote a letter and a complaint to LARA and have a case number they are going to be investigating as well. Pine knob urgent care tried pulling the same thing, five years ago and apologized and continue my service until now again. This time I will not be returning, but I will definitely be pushing correct procedures on filing complaints. Notifying All social media sites to stay clear of this company. I will be following up with the Michigan State complaints and the insurance companies to make sure this doesn't happen to somebody else. Talked to the manager Kathy and she called the owner Scott, and they made a decision that" I am not sick", so they don't care if they deny my service. Not once but twice this urgent care has neglected to do their job. Suppose to send urine out for culture, as I am allergic to a lot of antibiotics to make sure we're prescribing the correct one. Well went back the following day to see the same provider, and was told that my culture was not back ( which is fine, I didn't expect it to be ) but then I called that following Friday to get my culture results and was told that they never sent the urine out for culture. Same thing happened a year later! ( I know silly of me to give them a second chance, but hey everyone does make mistakes ) Patient neglect is what you get here. read more

Online info says one thing, the nasty lady at the front desk was yelling other things. Said ppl had to call the number to make an appointment. None of us hopeful patients standing outside could make an appointment in person. The nasty lady at the desk on 11/19/2020 at 8:00am yelled at anyone that tried to enter the front door. We advised the nasty lady that they should update their online information and at the very least put more/better literature outside. read more

Just as I was getting confident about this place, they screwed up royally, I was seen by a dr and she sent a sample to the lab, per my insurance company the dr used WRONG BILLING CODE causing me a $522.00 bill, only the physician can correct this mistake but she will not! The sick people sit by people who are fine, they don't separate people with covid. 2 hour wait. Rude front desk. Never sent my prescription in, when I called to ask if they sent it in hours later they never did. The P.A didn't know what he was talking about. read more

1st, they state masks are required but I've just watched to people come into a medical facility unmasked and the insubordinate was not addressed Second, I have been Waiting for more than an hour or so to be seen when a man who need to be in the ED came in complaining of chest pain. Protocol is calling an ambulance. Instead, he was taken back and assessed by MA's even though there'si is a waiting room full of sick people who can't breathe or are in pain. Now, we all get to wait longer even longer because he decided to go to urgent care instead of emergency. Receptionist rude AF. read more

The front desk staff was a little less than friendly but the rest of the staff was great! This location tends to have a shorter wait than other urgent care facilities in the area. It is clean and I feel like the treatment is excellent. Another great thing is that sports physicals are only $20 compared to the $40 or more cost at other places. I would honestly have given five stars if it weren't for the initial non-welcome at the desk. read more

Went here to get my sports physical on a Wednesday afternoon, The waiting room was clean and the front desk workers were pretty friendly. After filling out paperwork we sat in the wait room for over an hour waiting to get taken care of, I will say there were a few people ahead of us but should not have taken this long. Not to mention a patient that came in about 15 minutes after me was called in before I was. Seemed that there was only one doctor in the office. Definitely don't come here if you are in a rush because everyone in the office seems to be moving in slow motion. Once we did get back into the room and actually began the physical all went well! read more

Came in 6 months back received a false diagnosis on a broken foot and was given a boot I was told I wouldn't have to pay for, week goes by I get a call from a real radiologist saying my foot isn't broken and a Bill for 330 dollars for this boot. Contacted the urgent care and they said they would cover the boot and not to worry about it. 6 months later I got another bill for it now they will not do anything to help me and the manager kathy was short and rude to me when I called to discuss the matter. I would like to thank the staff for being so wonderful during this stressful time. My family needed to go for covid testing. They came to our car quickly after we called to let them know we were there. The nurse that came to the car was very nice. We got the results in less then 48 hrs. I would highly recommend this urgent care! read more

Don't even bother going they suck. Had bronchitis for weeks and They looked in my ears and throat and told me I had a cold when I was clearly coughing very bad. I went to mclaren and they did X rays and a breathing machine and prescribed me medicine. This urgent spends 5 minutes seeing you and costs a lot. read more

This is my go to urgent care. At $75 per visit, it's one of the cheaper ones around. The facilities are great, the staff are great, and the service is thorough and professional. read more

I love this place and wish they could be my Primary Caregivers. They are fast and friendly every time I go in there, which has been at least 4 times. I went to Pine Knob Urgent Care for the first time tonight. I went because of a virus that has lasted 5 weeks. I saw the PA who quite frankly should not be seeing patients! When he asked why I was there, I informed him that I have had a COUGH that won't stop (and proceeded to COUGH), I then told him that it had moved to a head cold with pain in my ear. He then asked if I had a COUGH - seriously?!? He looked in 1 ear, literally stood across the room and shined a light in my mouth, which he could see nothing at that distance and determined that I had a sinus infection. My chart clearly stated that I am allergic to antibiotics, but his suggestion was a Zpack - clearly didn't look at my chart. I have no fever but he was convinced that it was an infection and got defensive when I asked why antibiotics would be prescribed for a virus. I don't usually go to a doctor because of my allergies but wanted to know if this type of bug was going around and how much longer it might last since I am miserable. He could not or would not answer any questions and said that I would need to see a ENT specialist. I'm competent to monitor any medications that might be prescribed, but a cognitively impaired senior might not be. If I would have taken a zpack, I would stop breathing. After all that "help" I get to pay for his "services"! Strongly recommend going elsewhere. read more
