The agents we encountered in the Killeen and Temple area were, hands down, the worst we've ever dealt with--possibly the worst anywhere. We bounced from one agent to another, each plagued by constant errors with our accounts. Now, our setup is a bit complex--vehicles, home, life, savings, and banking accounts all with State Farm--but you'd think trained agents could handle it. Nope, not a chance! We were on the verge of ditching State Farm entirely when we tracked down our old agent for advice. She told us to call Nanette Mulkey in Greenville, TX--2.5 hours away from us. We thought, "What could possibly go wrong?" The answer? Absolutely nothing! Nanette Mulkey and her amazing sidekick Pam took charge like nobody's business. They grabbed the bull by the horns, uncovered a laundry list of issues with our accounts, and fixed every single one with precision and care. Distance? Not an issue. I just got into an all out argument with someone named Joe Marteniz who hung up on me. A man named Frank, a woman named Rita, and another mane named Michael all hung up on me because I was calling back to ask them to remove me from their call log. I was told that because I am calling back that the automated system thinks I am interested in a loan, however there is no option at the end of these calls to opt out. Joe Marteniz told me I need to give the system 24 hours, ITS BEEN A MONTH. TAKE ME OFF YOUR CALL LISTS. I DO NOT WANT YOUR LOAN, I HAVE NO INTEREST. I asked for a manager, Joe Marteniz told me he was a manager and was completely rude. I am trying to work and my phone rings 5, 6, 7 times a day. My voicemail is constantly full from this place just leaving voicemails. Give people an option, without having to call your completely rude call center, to be removed and actually remove them!!!! I spoke with Joe Marteniz on 08/06/2026 @ 10:13 am and if he is going to be in a manager role, dealing with the public he will need some major training! All of your people that the solution was to just hang up on someone is a terrible way to deal with the public, I guess because they know if someone calls back they won't get the same person. I have two personal loans and I promise I will NEVER EVER EVER consider Lending Partners for another one and I will make sure that EVERYONE I speak to knows that Lending Partners doesn't care about people only the money people can give them!!
