Previously bank posted YELP five star reviews at each window, but look at non-sponsored results--more like 1.7 and 2.4. False advertising. During catastrophic hurricane in gulf, CUTX advertised it was helping members who were affected. We owned a property in the hardest hit area and I contacted CUTX for assistance, and was told it was not my primary residence so they couldn't do anything. Realize the southern most CUTX location is DeSoto, so unless someone's primary residence was south of Houston but they drive to DeSoto to bank CUTX wasn't help them either. False advertising. Recently I was depositing CDs and was told by 2 different bankers on two different occasions the bank would match other rates I found and add a tenth of a percent, but the bank manager (Ross Ave) would need to make that change manually. Checking my account after the fact it was apparent I was receiving no discount and the bank manager denied anyone told me I would receive the discount promised. Not trustworthy. Put your money elsewhere.
