We chose to leave Amerigas so that we could deal with a local company in Park County. Amerigas has no customer service in this country as it has all been sent overseas and their prices are through the roof. To make a long story short, we were on Baileys schedule to have a tank installed next month. I rang them this morning, because Amerigas came and took our propane tank away without notifying us sometime in the past week. We now have no way of heating our building to keep our appliances running properly and our canned foods from freezing. After telling Bailey Propane how desperate we were for heat, I was told they would see what they could do and get back to me. Within two minutes, I got a call back stating that they would deliver a tank to our food bank tomorrow. What a blessing these people are!!! From the owner, to the front office staff, to the delivery people, our prayers have been answered. You cannot ask for a better company and their prices are over half of what Amerigas charges.

It amazes and pleases me that they always manage to track my usage and deliver propane in a timely fashion. I keep my roads clear of snow, but have many neighbors who aren´t here in the winter. I´ll see the driver walking through deep snow to check their tanks, and then when the roads are a bit better I´ll see him deliver as needed to them as well. That driver (and that truck) go through very challenging conditions. Summers, when usage is low, Comfurt will time a tank fill when the price is the lowest. That generally lasts me into December, when market prices are much higher. I recommend them without hesitation. Last year they added online access to billing and transaction history. Very convenient for payments.

They claim that they don't have access to the tank, but we offered for them to access it through the back of our property with the permission of our neighbor in writing. On the positive, they have delivered gas regularly, but their customer service, especially the owner Randy, has been rude, obstinate, and frustrating! They are now telling us that we have to buy their propane tank that is 40 to 60 years old for a thousand to $3,000 and that they will no longer deliver gas to our home. This company is one of a few companies servicing our area and thinks they can operate with impunity without consequences, and remain in business. Here's hoping that this review will help others to avoid being in our situation.

The scheduler (Sherri) also exhibited some pretty severe passive aggressive tendencies when I told her that I hadn't gotten her phone call on the day of our 2nd appointment (and 2nd cancelation) and I called to ask when the technician might be coming by. I live in Boulder in a known cell tower dead zone and often miss calls or drop calls midway. She was snarky when I told her that I hadn't gotten her call. I gave her my daughter's cell phone as a backup in case she had trouble reaching me for my 3rd scheduled make-up appointment. When I didn't get that call but she reached my daughter my daughter called me and asked me what her problem was bc she was so snarky with her. So I got the third makeup appointment booked and decided that I would check other places as I really was starting to wonder about this place and their other negative Yelp reviews reinforce the feeling that I got from my 3-4 contacts with this outfit. Got booked with a terrific company, A Brighter Glow in Brighton and had the best experience on the phone with an immediate confirmation and followup text and the tech Roy was professional and prompt and meticulous. I will be a repeat customer of theirs and the contrast in professionalism and customer care is like night and day with The Gas Connection. I am sure that they would have cancelled on me the 3rd time and I am glad that I don't have to deal with Sherri ever again.
