After a tiring day, I was really craving Indian food and luckily found a place right on the Royal Mile. Since it was the weekend, every restaurant was packed, and this one had a 20-minute wait -- which was totally fine. Being on the Royal Mile, there's always something interesting to see while you wait.
Twenty minutes later, our turn came and we got a table. The décor was nice, with some beautiful paintings on the wall.
We skipped starters and went straight for the main course since we were quite hungry. We ordered Lamb Biryani and Chilli Chicken.
The food was good, but just a heads-up -- the portion sizes are quite small. Coming from the US, we probably should've ordered one more dish.
The service was a bit slow and seemed uncoordinated. One server was discussing some work related issue with his peer, but it didn't look like he was following up. Not sure what the issue was, but it did make us feel a bit uncomfortable.
Pros: Great location, right on the Royal Mile.
