Plus, it's right next door to Dairy Queen... what more could you ask for? But what really stood out to me was the employee working during my visit. His name is Billy, and I was genuinely impressed. First, I noticed him sweeping the parking lot (who even does that anymore?). Then he was cleaning off the picnic tables, and later blowing leaves off the course. He wasn't being supervised--he was simply taking pride in his work. In a time when it's hard to find people who go above and beyond, Billy truly stood out. If I owned a business, I'd be trying to recruit him in a heartbeat. Kudos to Billy for his outstanding work ethic, and kudos to Mentor Mini Golf for having such a dedicated employee. My girlfriend tried the apple dumpling and we weren't impressed. It was claimed to have won awards, but unless it was a participation award I don't see it winning 1st place. I'm the first to agree with a great dessert but the apple was still hard and the dumpling had no flavor. I'd come back to play mini golf again and grab an ice cream cone.
