Super fun spot for kids and adults alike! The options for kids are good - it can get pricey with a big family (we have 5 people) but it is so much fun! I wish it was open on special holidays at least the arcade side when kids are out for say thanksgiving or Christmas but I guess that just makes it more special. It's horrible - incredibly crowded most of the time because there isn't a lot for kids to do at Geneva on the Lake so they all go here - but it's dirty, expensive and DEFINITELY NOT the best way to spend your money. While we were there we had to meet with Reed - the overgrown 12 year old "managing" the place - who was completely worthless to address our issue ... but he was "the oldest kid there" so he's the best choice be in charge, I guess... Listen, if you want to vacation with your ADULT friends for the weekend - GOTL MIGHT be the place to go - but if you want to take your kids somewhere fun for the day - visit a local arcade, go to a family-owned putt-putt course, go drive go-karts locally - don't waste your gas, money or time coming to this crap hole. We've lived in Ohio our whole lives and the ONLY reason anyone goes to Adventure Zone at GOTL is because they've brought their kids up to GOTL and they've run out of things to do with them! I can promise you that your local arcade and your local go-kart experience and your local putt-putt course is just as much fun, way cheaper and absolutely, for certain, tons cleaner than Adventure Zone. If you dropped this place almost anywhere in the state where they had a little competition, they'd be out of business within 3 years. I think the only reason they continue to survive is because they're the only place for kids to go at Geneva on the Lake. We went to Adventure Zone this past weekend and had a blast! Every employee we talked to were extremely friendly and helpful. We did putt putt, go carts, bumper boats, carousel and the arcade. Putt putt was beautiful! Very well maintained and fun! The go carts were awesome too! Bumper boats didn't go very fast to bump, but were super fun! And the carousel was a little sketchy. At least the house my daughter rode was. Didn't seem very safe. The arcade was awesome and the bathrooms were clean! We can't wait to go back! read more

Today me and my 2 younger brothers went to adventure zone to play some arcade games, and I'm about to put some money in a game and the boss/manager walks up to me and asks are your parents here and I said no and told us we had to leave and then assumed I was 10 or 11. This was the first time in 2 years I've lived on GOTL and they kicked us out because we didn't have adults... we were doing nothing wrong and they haven't done this before! This place is a ripoff unless you're rich with a lot of money to burn. First of all, my biggest peeve: renting the transportation "attractions" (bikes, golf carts, etc.). Why the **** do I need to cough up $500 as a down payment, give my credit card (not that I have one anyway because poor people like me rely on debit cards and cash) and sell my first born child just to ride around in an effing bicycle?! Sure there's liability issues in case of an accident, but their requirements are borderline draconian! Second, their mini golf course is not worth the price they demand. With the money they want for one round ($8 when I was there), I could easily go to Allison's golf course down the road, play a round there and then buy a glass of freshly squeezed lemonade afterward! The arcade was pretty cool, I'll admit. They have the best selection of games compared to the other arcades on the strip and a better variety of prizes. I can't comment on the go carts or bumper boats since I didn't have the chance to use them, nor can I say anything about the bungee cords or rock climbing because I'm over the weight limit. This place was really a lot of fun. We did the putt-putt, the bumper boats and the go karts. Nice clean place, decent prices for the activities, and the putt-putt course was not for the faint of heart. I'm still experiencing flashbacks of a couple of those holes. Bumper boats on the crazy hot day we were there was MOST welcome. Staff was all very friendly, they made it more fun. I went with a group of adults, but I'd have loved taking my kids when they were younger. The inside/arcade portion was the only spot I thought was lacking in regards to activities. It seemed cramped. The parking lot seemed ok - could use more space. Either that, or some indication of parking spaces. We must have been "lucky" enough to hit a day where folks just didn't understand how to park. Great location within walking distance of The Lodge at Geneva on the Lake. I would usually rather be stabbed than have to be at a one of these types of places but this is spotlessly clean and clearly well managed (we accidentally walked in on an early a.m. staff meeting and let's just say Safety is Priority #1 - which a parent appreciates :) On our first visit they were very kind and accommodating. When The Lodge where we were staying was out of rental bikes, Adventure Zone allowed us to come in a half hour before their scheduled opening and rent a surrey and bikes from them. Very reasonable rates for both bike/surrey/golf cart rentals and fun passes. We didn't have the usual "robbed at a tourist trap" sort of feel one can get when traveling. On our second visit, our older teens enjoyed the Go-Karts, Boats and mini-golf while we walked across the street to the winery for lunch. read more

The manager was rude, my nephew had a defective go kart and when being pushed in accidentally bumped a kart in front of him. My nephew wanted to ride again so purchasing another ticket he went to ride and was informed he had been removed... Nothing was said exiting just after he purchased another ticket, the staff refused to refund or exchange and the manager was questioned. I have never met a person that treated me this awful over such a simple and honest mistake. It didn't end here the manager did allow my nephew to ride as they do not refund but after followed us around the location telling every employee out in the open and pointing at us I've never felt so annoyed when I should have been having a good time. We had a very disappointing and frustrating experience. We visited Geneva State Park on July 3rd and saw some folks had rented a golf cart from Adventure Zone and it looked like so much fun. When we tried to rent a golf cart, we were told that they were all rented out for the day. So we returned just before 10am the next day to find out that the sign on the door said that they open at Noon. We should have checked but we just assumed that they would be open by 10am. So we stayed around in the area to kill time as we live 45 minutes away. We returned at 11:45am to find out that all golf carts were already rented for the full day. No units were available again for another day. How are all the units reserved at 11:45am when they don't open until Noon? Very frustrating! When asked to speak to the Manager, there was no attempt to address the issue. We understand that the situation was unfortunate but an attempt should be made to ensure that other families don't have the same disappointing experience. Please let us know what you plan to do to ensure that other Customers aren't disappointed and frustrated. read more

GREAT TIME!! We drove 1 1/2 hours and it was worth every mile!! The staff was great!! We wanted to use our groupon but could not pull it up on our phone. A staff member took us to the manager and they printed it off on their computer. The go karts and bumper boats were so much our 2 12 year olds loved everything and are ready to go back (they didn't want to leave!!) This place is a must!! I wish I could give less than a 1 star review, went there with my family to ride go carts and play mini golf, upon arriving to the go carts I witnessed the management telling a little girl that she couldn't take her second ride because the staff of the go cart track had taken both of her tickets, the management refused to correct this situation and the girls father had to give up his ticket so his daughter could enjoy the ride, when it came time for my ride the management questioned my daughters age and my sons height to be able to drive( my sons second ride I should point out), My daughter is old enough to ride and my son is tall enough to drive, the management (I use this term loosely) was aggressive since that moment, on the track I bumped the cart in front of me trying to pass on the inside and he turned into me, whistle blew they yelled no bumping( which I understand but can still happen in racing) , the next two laps the staff did nothing but yell at us to stop bumping even though I had only bumped once, then they pulled us off the track, and tried to make us leave while my minor son was still on the ride, the go kart manger actually got in my face screaming while I was holding my 3 year old daughter, and by this point I was done with this establishment and told the management I would leave when my son was off the ride, management did not care, then my brother who also was kicked from the ride tried to enter the building to request a refund said manager grabbed my nephew by the arm and attempted to drag him out of the building, management then called Geneva on the lake police who made us leave with no refund, the so called manager of the go carts also laughed at the fact of making my daughter cry because she could finish her rid e on the go carts, do not waste your money at this shitty establishment, they don't care about taking your money and are looking for any reason to take it with giving you what you paid for, I will never return and I will continue to share this story throughout the community, because our community deserves better than this, let alone any tourist visiting our community, I do not want this place to give a poor example of our community and that's what they profit on read more
