They have 6,7,8 irons available at the range. Fees were $5 for small bucket and $10 for a large. The fairways were regular patchy grass, then around the greens was lush green golf course grass. The greens look well kept. If you are on the island looking for a place to play golf, this is it. I will return and play again.

Watch out for the seagulls and try to bring some bright colored golf balls to avoid confusion with the seagull feathers (I lost a couple golf balls because we couldn't find them). It's the same producer as their regular ice cream, a company from Wisconsin, and they were the best vegan ice cream I've had. The flavor was peanut buddy. Made from oat cream. I will definitely be looking for their distribution places in metro Detroit. The lady working there was so nice and very accommodating. Amazing parson! Played with a coworker the evening we got into town and the twilight rate was $25 unlimited golf. Wasn't sure what to expect but my first impression was good. The golf shop guy was super nice and recommended the restaurant as well while we were in town. The golf course was extremely well taken care of. Greens were in great shape. This course is a gem for Newberry. I would go out of my way to play on this course. The rates were excellent, well under the price of what it's worth. We ended up playing two days in a row, can't wait to golf there again. Now for the food. We ate there the last night in town. The prices are more than what the local bars are but the food is 5 star. I had the fish and chips and it was the best I've had in a long time. The green beans were even worth raving about. Three others on my group had all different meals and all were equally impressive. Oh, and the Long Islands were excellent. Give this place a try when your in the area, whether it's for golf or food, you won't be disappointed.

No course diagram anywhere to be found, online, on their website, or on the card, HELLO? Made it difficult to manage the course. Greens were in great shape, but so many undulations, and everyone was hillside, made 1/2 my strokes, putts. One ball washer, on hole No. 1, that was it, cart was filthy. For an "upscale", somewhat expensive course, a few standard extras should have been provided. I usually stay away from "resort" courses because of their hilly & blind shot holes, and undulating, putt-putt like golf greens, this course fit that description. But the aesthetics were fantastic. $45 for 9 & a cart, midweek.

golfed here while camping in the area. first off - this location is in EST. we were an hour late to…read moreour tee time, oops. also, the couse has a very limited numbered of power carts - something like 10-12. we were able to score a cart even though we were so late and they were able to get us on the course. a majority of the patrons were seniors who had their own custimized power carts that were stored on site. the garage housing these carts was pretty impressive. the course was in good shape - very few dead spots on the fairways. the tee boxes and greens were in great shape. the course itself presented a fair amount of challenges and wasnt a standard course where you pull out driver, short iron and you are on or near the green. the round with card was something like $40/person. be sure to map out this location as we had some issues with finding it on our GPS. give this course a try!
