Pirate's Cove offers a fun, challenging, and well maintained miniature golf course. We were there on a Friday and it was busy but not annoyingly so. We had to wait a short time at each hole for the folks in front of us (as did the folks behind us). But, again, nothing too lengthy and overall everything flowed rather well. It was the most chaotic, stressful, dangerous thing we've done as a group. Do not do a rafting trip if you think you're going to have any time to enjoy the scenery, talk, or enjoy a family activity. The river was extra fast due to high water levels and there are constant obstacles to avoid. We are all lucky to have made it with only minor injuries. Way too many close calls. It was not just us that were not enjoying our time on the river. Every kayaker and tuber we encountered felt exactly the same way. Several said they'd been crying at times, it was so chaotic.

Everything looks like it's falling apart. The go-karts are slow and sputter along like old jalopies. They must have had the same ones for over 40 years, they definitely appear as such. The batting cages don't work anymore, either. It just isn't what it was in the 90's or 00's...the owners have apparently just been running the place into the ground over the last 10 years trying to soak every dollar out of it before retiring and selling it off. It has really taken a dive over the last few. It's not worth coming here until new management takes over and revamps everything. Anyone giving a 3-star or higher review of this park is either a bot or completely clueless.

The water is crystal clear all the way to the bottom, and you can easily see fish swimming below. You hop onto a self-operated raft that you pull across the water to the middle of the spring, where there's an opening in the center to look straight down. It gives you a perfect view of the vibrant underwater world -- it's honestly mesmerizing. It's a quick stop, but totally worth it. And the best part? It's dog-friendly! Clear blue water, bubbling sand, never ending springs, a tow boat, and lots of trout are the wonders to see. Everyone gets on the boat and someone (well a few people over the course of the trip) step up to the wheel to tow the boat across the water. The water is mesmerizing. I couldn't take my eyes off the water. Many people can fit on the boat so the wait is not too long. A day pass is $11. Definitely make this stop if you are in the area.
