Milkshakes and other sweet treats were available. There was only one young staffer that I saw but very friendly and helpful. I was able to get a first responder discount which made our mini-golf games almost buy one get one. It was about $14 total. The 18-hole course was not too easy or hard and had some unseen dips on the well maintained astroturf. They also thankfully have appropriately placed netting to avoid some shots landing in the water. For about four or five holes, they have fun spinners which have you do a trick shot or choose someone to move a ball or hop on a foot to take your shot or use the opposite end of the club for the shot. Made for some laughs on the course. No prizes for a hole in one on 18. They also have a batting cage. Although relatively empty when we were there in the afternoon on a Saturday, others were slowly coming in. This is a nice place for a fun family or friend night out. I did see on the price board they have a full-season pass.

Miniature golf The ropes course was fun and the staff was very helpful. There are differing levels of difficulty and you must be able to complete a lower level before going to a higher one. The hardest one is called black rhino and if you successfully complete it you get your pic on the wall. Things to know: -GG is only open for the summer season -hours are 10am to 6pm (weather permitting) -no WiFi -free parking -you will be required to sign a digital waiver -you will be limited to a 2 hour time slot and reservations are not necessary -there is a cute little train that can take you to/from the main resort building to GG -picnic tables if you want to bring lunch -benches if you want to bring people to watch you complete the course -there are cold beverages, candy, ice cream, tshirts, shoes, shorts, etc for purchase The reason I am docking a star is because the course is very expensive. $65 for the ropes course (2 hour timeframe) and a $15 bonus zip line add on. We chose the blue course, and it had lots of cool, challenging obstacles, including sand and rock traps, and water traps too! It was late summer, so the leaves were beginning to fall, but they must use a leaf blower often because the greens only had a few tiny leaves here and there which didn't interfere at all. We had no problem getting our disabled daughter through the course in her large jogger stroller. There was a lot of mature shade trees, and even colored, shade banners strategically placed offering even more shade. The balls float, and they have special tools placed near each water trap to retrieve the balls. They have ice cream and more tables nearby which we thoroughly enjoyed afterwards.

Each child was $7.50, and I didn't have to pay. There's also a local discount, which was a nice bonus if your local (Central PA) . The best part is that your kids get wristbands for all-day access, so you can leave and come back later. The wristbands were convenient, but not every kid loves wearing them. One of mine tried to pull theirs off, so that's something to keep in mind. The entire village is set on turf, which made it feel clean and easy for kids to run around. There are around 10 little houses, all filled with fun, imaginative play setups. Things do get a little mixed around from kid to kid, but it didn't take away from the experience at all. There isn't much shade, and on a hot day it definitely makes a difference. We stayed for about an hour, from around 11 to 12, and that heat was the main reason we left. Food and drinks aren't allowed inside the village for kids, but parents can walk around with coffee, which is a plus. There is a food and drink stand on-site if you want to grab something. The setup overall is super convenient. Bathrooms are right there, and you pay at the main mini golf area when you arrive. There are also extra outdoor games included, like giant checkers and tic-tac-toe, which added even more value without extra cost. Parking is easy with angled spots, and when we went it wasn't crowded at all. The location is also perfect if you're already exploring nearby spots like Choo Choo Barn, Strasburg Rail Road, or Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania. Everything is within about 10 minutes. There were a few bees and wasps around, which is expected for an outdoor space. It wasn't overwhelming, and it didn't interfere with play. This would be a great spot for playdates or casual meetups. The price is hard to beat, and it's an easy, fun outing for younger kids. I'd definitely go back, just aiming for a cooler day next time.
