As many others have said, if there is one word that you could use to describe Blue Ridge it would…read morebe value and honestly, in this area of courses, that's rare. Plenty of Pocono area courses either have bloated pricing or the double-whammy of bloated pricing combined with an older course that has been questionably maintained. Here, none of the above apply. IME, your best play is to go to the website and make a tee-time. The site does not accept payment in advance. Just a tee-time. $35 with no additional taxes or fees after 3pm on a weekday here is a steal. blueridgetrail.com/book-a-tee-time/ Large enough parking lot on site and then you head to the small pro shop to pay. After that, it's over to the cart area, load up and find out where you're playing. Yep, Blue Ridge consists of three nine hole courses and to manage flow, they'll send you where they feel it's best since all carts are GPS monitored, Private Eyes are indeed watching you....and everyone else too. The one small downside to this approach. The pace of play is a bit slower than what it should be. Yes, the pro shop does watch everything and yes, your cart will start showing passive-aggressive notes on the screen if you are behind in pace of play but that's highly relative since overall, you're only as good as what's in front of you and again, they pack the tee-times tight. We played Blue and Ridge which from the whites equals about 6200 yards. Overall beautiful conditions and nice greens even which are fair but tough to make any kind of putts on. Highly picturesque surroundings and next to no brown outs or shit spots on the fairways. A few of the tee boxes were a bit rough (mostly the par 3's) but nothing crazy. Door to door in about 4 hours and 45 minutes for a weekday afternoon. That's a bit slower than I like to play but it is what it is. This is also a course where you will be paired with other people if your party is less than 4. Again, they pack the tee times tight. Overall this place is very nice on it's own and compared to some of the neighboring courses in the area. No problem coming back here in the future. 4.5 rounding up.

What an amazing golf course. Country Club type conditions. The fairways were plush and the greens…read morerolled perfectly. The staff couldn't be nicer. The food inside the bar was excellent as well. This course was definitely worth the ride. I strongly recommend this course.

Fun little Golf Center conveniently located right on US 11 in Danville. If you're heading…read moresouthbound, pay close attention for the the flag and faux-golf green on the right hand side of the road marking the small bridge over a drainage ditch and the gravel roadway to their parking lot. If you're not, you might just shoot right on by, sort of like I did. A quick u-turn later, the family was happy with what we found. There was what seemed to be a nicely varied and well staffed and stocked driving range with standard booths, a field area for iron work, a sand trap and a practice green to simulate all sorts of golfing conditions. What we were there for, though, was mini-golf. After navigating the self-serve machine to pay our entrance fees and get our balls and putters, we were treated to a very interesting and well-maintained course. It was just challenging enough to keep the adults interested while not being too overwhelming for the kids. A very nice balance. Staff was friendly and opened the main building to allow the kids to use the bathroom. Due to COVID, all food services are currently suspended. There aren't a ton of family-friendly activities to do when visiting Danville, but this place 100% fits the bill.

Miniature golf The ropes course was fun and the staff was very helpful. There are differing levels of difficulty and you must be able to complete a lower level before going to a higher one. The hardest one is called black rhino and if you successfully complete it you get your pic on the wall. Things to know: -GG is only open for the summer season -hours are 10am to 6pm (weather permitting) -no WiFi -free parking -you will be required to sign a digital waiver -you will be limited to a 2 hour time slot and reservations are not necessary -there is a cute little train that can take you to/from the main resort building to GG -picnic tables if you want to bring lunch -benches if you want to bring people to watch you complete the course -there are cold beverages, candy, ice cream, tshirts, shoes, shorts, etc for purchase The reason I am docking a star is because the course is very expensive. $65 for the ropes course (2 hour timeframe) and a $15 bonus zip line add on. Also laser tag randomly was paused for 2 hours with no advance notice which was a bummer.
