Stopped in here for ice cream. Had a milk shake and wife had a waffle cone. I thought the staff were very courteous and helpful. The ice cream was delicious and flavorful. It may have a bit small for the price but it was tasty. I thought the place was clean and decorated nicely. I will definitely stop here again. Not sure why people comment on the food prices but was it really that bad or was it the prices? Go to a ballpark and pay $5 for a hot dog and $10 for greasy fries. Tonight was our first time here, and I can't believe we haven't been here sooner! We ate dinner (mozzarella sticks, fried pickle spears, and cali cheeseburgers), played a round of golf, and then ended with funnel cake fries. The course was a lot of fun with the obstacles, sand traps, and water hazards. All of the employees were so friendly and kind. The best of all, the landscaping!!!! We didn't get ice cream, but the ice cream looked delicious, and there were so many yummy options. Hands down the best mini golf course in the Lehigh Valley. My girlfriend and I decided to come here for some mini golf and ice cream on a weeknight and we were not disappointed. If you frequent mini golf places, you know things range from the incredibly tacky and overrun with tourists, to highly commercialized places with a dozen ways to separate you from your money. This is none of that, it just a local non-chain family fun place to hang out. The course had a modern and yet retro feel to it. It's rare to see a new course that has the classics mini golf obstacles like windmills on them. It is beautiful, and the holes are well thought out, smartly made, creative, challenging, and just actually fun to play. The inside of this location looks great also, you can see that they put care into everything they did when the remodeled it. The inside has Ice cream and normally food, but due to the current health crisis only ice cream currently. The Ice cream we had was great. They also had pineapple dole whip here, that may not be a big deal for most people but it brings back fond memories of Walt Disney World for me. I also appreciate how they support local business here, most if not all products are local, craft sodas instead of coke and things like that. I find that a nice touch. The staff was friendly and helpful. They also went the extra mile here with the little touches that most people will not notice. For example on the course they have little name plaques telling you what all the different type plants are, that is something I did not expect to see at a mini golf course. The historic Mountain View Drive-In reopened this past week after being closed for 15 years. Reopening day was such a success, the owners ran out of food and had to open later than anticipated on Tuesday, just to restock. Mountain View is open for dinner from 4 to 10 p.m. daily, seven days a week. The drive-in will open for breakfast and lunch in coming days. Construction on the 18-hole miniature golf course also is shaping up. The Yaswinskis anticipate the course will open around Labor Day. 1st time and everything was great! We had dinner, played mini golf, and had ice cream. Maddie was our server and was personable, efficient, and welcoming. Miniature golf course took me back to the days of past mini golf courses that were challenging and fun. And to top it off, soft black raspberry ice cream that cannot be beat. The food and atmoshpere of this place is great. As of August 11th, the mini-golf portion is expected to open in several weeks. I had the Quinoa Power Salad, my fiancé and stepdaughter had the Farmer's Cobb Salad, and others had burgers, fries, and milkshakes. It was an ordeal. A friend and I went in and we sat down at the cleanest of all the dirty tables. We waited for someone to come over to us for about 15 minutes, when she finally came over she didn't clean the dirty table that still had the tip on it. We then ordered and waited over 35 minutes for our food. While waiting we heard that the table next to us had been waiting over an hour. When we got our food my friend's meal was missing bacon and the topping she asked for and never brought it to us after pointing it out to them. Her butter looked disgusting. It looked like it was frozen and then put into a microwave. I also looked like it was dug into (half empty). My meal also arrived cold and the water tasted like cardboard. No one came to check on us and we had to get our own utensils. It wasn't the fault of the waitress, she was very sweet, but she told us it was only her second day... she clearly needed more training and was overwhelmed. read more

Hum where do I begin? Sunday morning, around 11 AM, and we were afraid we would have a wait-didn't happen. This place was empty at breakfast time on a Sunday, again hum... Fast forward, waitress was quick to take our order, and that was about it. While we waited for our food to be prepared, the same waitress came out of the kitchen with a tray full of hot food for another table. Seeing a customer at the register she placed the tray on the back counter and waited on them, all while there were others available to handle this. There was then a glitch with the register and she and another waitress (the young little one) attempted to fix it..meanwhile the hot food is sitting on the back counter getting colder and colder, it was at least 7 minutes until the food was delivered, after coming out of the kitchen, and I am being generous with that estimate. The next thing was just simply appalling. The two of them were still trying to fix the glitch and we overheard the older waitress say I don't give a F---!!!! LOUD AND CLEAR!!! It's a real shame that this place has to employ people who have minimal customer service experience. After all the new owners have put into it, reviving a relic, we were so hoping to love it. The building itself and the landscaping is beautiful, we truly hope that changes are made. read more

This place is brand new and is obviously still working to get it right. The building is a good-looking Craftsman bungalow with wide covered porches on the sides where people can dine in nice weather. The miniature golf course was still under construction when I visited. Service is order at the counter and the food is brought to your table. The counter help is new and still learning but friendly and enthusiastic. Cheesesteak was on the smallish side but tasty, and the potato pancakes were like large tater tots. $5 for four of them seemed rather steep. My family has told me many generations of stories that Mountain View from my mother, from my grandmother, and from all of my aunts and uncle's. This is a very iconic place in Nazareth and it was close down around 15 years ago and now is reopened. We went today it was actually very good food but very slow, granted it was packed. The staff was so very sweet. But everyone seemed to be running around not knowing what they're doing. But I understand this because it is only like their first week. But I would love to go here again with my family, the food was divine, and the ice cream was delicious. All of the staff was very sweet, someone named Westen was doing the doors b/c they were locked, and my sister who is almost 2, was playing the door game with him. He was very helpful, and kind. Had a cheeseburger and fries. They were both very good. My wife had a pulled pork sandwich. It came out on a very nice ciabatta bun. For dessert she had a brownie sundae. She said it was very good. I had a chocolate milkshake. That unfortunately was very thin. Taste was good but definitely not thick enough. Service was good. They have a very young waitstaff. Like most locals I was anxious for the Mountain View to reopen. Although it is quite beautiful on the outside, I've been there three times and every time was a fiasco. I agree that they need to work on being able to efficiently serve the customer and provide quality food. But this evening, tuesday jan 21st, was even worse. Their website says they're open. And a local ad says they're open, even saying that tuesday is senior day. But when we got there the place was closed. The hours on the door sign say they're closed monday and tuesday. What a mess. We'd been looking for a dinner and putt putt golf evening and had heard Mountain View had reopened. Arrived around 6:30pm on a Friday and they were pretty busy and I was regretting not calling ahead when I saw folks standing outside the front door. Happily, they got us seated quickly and our high school age server attentively saw to our needs. Being busy it took just a bit longer than the staff was satisfied with and they were informative and apologetic. Being a Putt Putt Golf place, you lower your expectations for the food. My first mistake! While the menu was brief, there were some real gems. I look for sweet potato fries everywhere I go. Bingo! We ordered a basket for the table along with onion rings and drinks. Everyone agreed the sweet potato fries were the best any of us had ever had. We also ordered the fresh brewed iced tea and lemonade that is some of the best I've had in the area. My kids are vegetarians and expected to find little. But the chef had an excellent black bean burger for my kids while I enjoyed an underpriced and perfectly cooked Wild Alaskan Salmon burger on a ciabatta roll which was toasted perfectly! Ding ding ding! This guy knows what he's doing! What really stood out was the side salads. We opted for them instead of the fries because we had already ordered the sweet potato fries. Probably 95% of the time I'll eat the gratuitous cherry tomato and one slice of cucumber and ignore the rest. But at the Mountain View they've actually made the side salad interesting and delicious with locally grown produce that begs to be eaten and choices of dressing. Their menu is really well thought out and perfect for a summer family evening! The golf course is 19 holes, well kept up and nicely appointed with interesting ponds, foliage and a relaxing view especially at sundown. We capped the evening off with ice cream and a visit from the owner. Lanie is engaging and thoughtful. She's tastefully added some "extra touches" that go a long way towards making her place stand out and has trained her young wait staff to think of the little extra's like offering to put my wife's ice tea in a plastic cup so she could continue to enjoy it while we golfed.
