I went to a guy in Monroe for years. Then every time a change on my plan he does take it. Do I had it all sent to Indian Rock dental. She calls me and says, 'I can't reactivate your account or get your records so you have to go elsewhere. ' I think that tge staff is not well trained or informed. She couldn't not seem to understand that I was asking for tge dentist to call me back. read more

New insurance so I needed a new dentist. This was my first and last visit with Rachel Fainman Dentist. The xray tech seemed very nice, but she took way too many xrays, I think she was a newbie, and couldn't get it right. The monitor said Danger, and showed red, said too much exposure. When Rachel came in to do the cleaning, she was not very friendly, very few words, put the chair back in a severe position, super bright light, and she was very rough. The cleaning was super fast, less than 20 minutes; it was a miserable experience. Some people don't like their jobs and it shows...she seems like one of them. avoid. read more

The worst dental experience I've ever had. My insurance changed so I was in search of a new dentist. Dr. Fainman was extremely rude as soon as she walked into the room. I've always had really pleasant experiences with doctors so I was really shocked with her initial meeting with me being a first time patient. The X-ray tech was really sweet so that seems like the only thing the office has going for them. The cleaning was also rushed... save yourself a trip. read more

I first went to Dr. Fainman when she just opened her office in Suffern. I have a terrible fear of the dentist and she did not make me feel silly and respected my fear. She also was very honest and only did the work that needed to be done at that time. So now three years later I am returning to her office again and feel very confident in her ability to help me. I've been meaning to write a review for this clinic for a while now. Dr. Fainman and her staff at Indian Rock Dental are amazing! I've had about 5 appointments in 2021 alone, and had a great and painless experience each time. I never liked going to the dentist because of the longs wait times, pain, etc. which is why i haven't gone to one in almost 13 years. It's also the reason why my teeth were in such bad shape! They took me in as an emergency patient when I had an infection in my tooth and swollen gums. Got an appointment the same day, got my x-rays done, teeth cleaned, infection drained and was pain free within an hour of stepping into the clinic. I've had two pain free root canals done in about 1 to 1.5 hrs. I've had my wisdom teeth pulled, fillings done, 2 crowns put on, and cleanings by Dr Fainman and I couldn't have had a more pleasant experience. Dr. Fainman works fast, it seems like by the time you finish getting x-rays done she already knows how to treat your issue. I've had a great visit each time with no problems. I did have an issue with my insurance but their receptionist worked with me to resolve it. I absolutely recommended this clinic to my coworkers, friends, and family. It's hard to say you like your dentist, but this is an exception. We switched to Dr. Fainman a few years ago and can only a say good things about her practice: she has always been pretty much on schedule. The office staff is welcoming. The care seems good. Dr. Fainman has a gentle touch and is always careful to explain what needs to be done before diving in. read more

I broke a molar, called on Sunday and got a Monday appointment. Dr. Fainman thoroughly and painlessly repaired my tooth without pain or even discomfort. The repair was beautiful done. I have been disappointed with a number of Rockland and Bergen dentists over the years but Dr. Fainman is a keeper. Office is conveniently located and the parking sufficient. I had a post and a crown on a front tooth that my former dentist could not seem to fix let alone scheduling and lab return times were extremely poor. They have been working on this one tooth for over 4 years and it would always fail. Then I left for a very well known and repretable dentist who has an expert in each area of dentistry. His professionalism and care was better then I have ever seen, but his prognosis was to allow me to have an implant which my insurance did not cover and was going to cost over $7000. However this was his best advise, then warning me that I did not have much time left I would have to act right away or I would be without a front tooth for some time. Realizing that I just went from one extreme to another but watching a commercial one day and seeing Dr. Fainman at Indian Rock Dental who does all areas of specialty herself in a very professional environment, I decided to visit her and have my xrays transferred. Studing her calm and extremely competent demeanor I thought to myself I think I found an excellent dentist. Within three visits which included a new post prep and lab work then a new crown and second lab work and within a little over 5 weeks. She did a perfect job and I have no more issues with this front tooth that I have been spending countless visits to other dentist and paying or in the second case almost paying thousands of dollars. Dr. Fainman preformed her magic and for 10 times less the price if I had gotten an implant which I am guessing at this point I really did not need. If I had, with a point of no return, I would have had to live with the rest of my life. If you are truly looking for that last office and dentist that you will ever need, visit Indian rock dental and meet Dr. Fainman and her staff. Not that anyone looks forward to going to the dentist especially if you have a problem. And as silly as this sounds I can not wait for my next cleaning just to say thank you again! read more
