Went for the pumpkin patch and photo opportunities. It was cute. Really liked the animals and was surprised to see a camel, zebras and buffalos! Kiddo loved it. With that said, there's really not much else to do. There's a bounce house for the kids, everything else is just small gimmicky items to take a quick pic and move on. Only 1 food vendor + a dessert option. Overall, for the pumpkin patch stuff, it might be worth going on a weekday at their normal prices but they jack up the prices over the weekend and it's pretty overpriced for what you get.

Our favorite local pumpkin patch. Been coming here for a few years, and it keeps getting better and better every year, albeit more expensive. I think it's a great spot for younger children, and there's and endless supply of instagramable opportunities for the older kids. What to expect: Parking in a dirt lot $8 pp Thurs & Fri, $16 pp weekends Pumpkins everywhere, with rates posted near entrance An array of animals roaming around including zebras, bison, camels, and longhorns Animal feed for $5 per large cup Large corn pit in a stock tank Huge spider web to play on Hay bales, treehouse, teepee Huge jumping pillow and food trucks on weekends only Cute little bathrooms Absolutely recommend for all your fall needs!

Super fun! Indian Springs Ranch offers a unique and up close encounter with exotic animals. I opted for a private hour-long tour and it was such a treat. The tour was easy to coordinate via email and Dylan was an engaging and knowledgeable guide. I've done drive-through experiences before but this is on a totally different level. All of the animals on the property are kept as pets and as such, the vast majority are comfortable with hand feeding. Rather than drive your own vehicle, guests ride in an open-air off-road vehicle for full immersion. We got plenty of treats to share and the animals chased after us to ask for more! Highlights included the zebra, camel, bison and kangaroos. Great for all ages, highly recommend!

This is a really cool place to take the kids! Better for elementary age kids and younger as there is not much to do but see the animals. BUT, they are awesome animals to see! You can also purchase animal food to feed some of them out of your hands. There are buffalo, llamas, zebras, longhorns, camels, donkeys, goats and I'm sure I'm missing some. This is a great experience for young and old. There are lots of different pumpkins and you may purchase them but they were, as expected, more expensive than regular retail places. The grounds are spacious and shaded by plenty of large trees. Several set ups for photo opportunities as well. There was a bounce house for older kids. There was a big tractor the kids could climb on. There was only one food vendor, which was a bit disappointing, but it was good. It was BBQ. There was a small, local bakery vendor but they ran out of most stuff kind early. There are several picnic tables but not enough to accommodate those that had purchased food when I was there. This is a cool place to hangout for a while with friends, family and younger kids, without high expectations....it's just laid back. Enjoy nature and the animals and good convo.

Way too busy. Good for them, but bad for visitors. Maybe limit the amount of guests at one time ?

Not only is Nicole incredibly skilled with her camera and use of natural and ambient lighting (even on a sort of gray, finicky day like ours was), but she's really gifted with working with cats (and I'm sure dogs, too). We did some of the portraits inside at home, and some outside in the garden near our house. Our cat, Cleo is seldom impressed by conventional toys or noisemakers but Nicole seemed to know exactly how to get him to look interested and cooperate - plus her magical cat toys must've had kitty crack on them -- Cleo loved them way better than anything we've ever gotten him. Also, it's worth saying that Nicole's method was very relaxed and flexible. She never forced Cleo into doing this or that - she let Cleo sort of lead the way, resulting in zero tension despite the unusual circumstances (from Cleo's perspective). Cleo is notoriously un-photogenic, given that he has black fur and always seems to hate it when I point my phone or camera at him. This is one of the reasons I felt it worth it to hire a pro. Cleo is almost 14 years old as I write this review - he's still really active and fun, but he's not getting any younger. I'm so glad I finally bit the bullet and hired Nicole for Cleo's pet portrait. It was worth every cent and she was such a pleasure to work with. I really like her personality and style, and especially the beautiful photos I ended up with. I am ever grateful for her service.

It's that good ... I recently hired Nicole to shoot portraits of my wife and pets (two dogs, Kaya and Shonee) and have to say that I am MORE than impressed with the results. Just last night I was reviewing the digital images when one of the photos really touched me. No exaggeration, my eyes were welling up with tears! There is something so special about her perspective, something so sublime about her style, that there aren't enough adjectives available to properly describe it. Beautiful. Powerful. Captivating. Expressive. Smooth. Engaging. Emotional. Exciting. Playful. Contemplative. Serene. Intriguing. Perceptive. Like the ingredients of a gourmet dish, all of these apply in different proportions, depending on the subject and the scene. I have never been a big fan of framing portraits and mounting them on the wall in my home, but this time, I'm already thinking about which images to get printed and how to frame them. Nicole's photography is art ...

My husband and I have 4 dogs (that we spoil like they are our children) and we instantly felt comfortable sending our elderly dog (along with some props) with Krista for the morning. A few hours later Krista returned our extremely happy Ella after visiting downtown Austin, the green belt and wildflower fields. A few hours later, Krista gave us a sneak peak of some of the unedited photos. As soon as we saw how talented she is we asked her to book us to take more pics of our other dogs. Today Krista dropped off Ella's hardback book, and wow!!!! She truly captured her young-at-heart spirit. I'm not sure how she got so much energy and variety of facial expression in one morning from our girl, but I could not be happier with the quality of the pictures and the book! For our second session we asked Krista to take pictures of our two American Bulldogs at our house. Taking pictures of these two children is no simple task... One is a 17 month old female, 95lbs and in heat....and the other is 22 month old male and 85lbs... We got to watch Krista in action with our pups and she truly is some kind of dog-whisperer! We can't wait to see the results! Extremely professional, high quality pictures, high quality ( and not flimsy) photo book, well worth the money. Thrilled that we found Krista and we HIGHLY recommend her to fellow dog lovers!!!

My dog is friendly senior dog and I consider him a bolter (not so good off leash)but she was able to take him out and get him to obey her commands which resulted in AMAZING photos!!! They were gone for the entire morning and when he came back he was a happy camper. It's like taking your dog to doggy daycare and getting great pictures in return that'll last a life time. If you are wanting to have great memories captured of your dog then look no further. Krista is THE ONE! I would trust her with my dog in a heartbeat and my dog is like my child. Thank you for the awesome photos!!
