The roomy aisles and organized layout make it easy to explore without feeling cramped or rushed, which matters because there is so much to see. The variety is incredible. You can find everything you need to create dishes from across many Asian cuisines, including fresh produce, noodles, rice, sauces, spices, frozen specialties, snacks, teas, kitchenware, and ingredients you rarely see in an ordinary grocery store. Even when I don't have a specific shopping list, I love walking through the aisles and discovering something new to try. The people who work here have always been kind, welcoming, and helpful when I need assistance finding something. That makes an already enjoyable shopping experience even better. India Bazar - Valley Ranch, Irving, TX…read more I recently purchased a 4lbs packet of raw peanuts from India Bazar in Valley Ranch, Irving, TX, and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. When I tried to consume the peanuts, I noticed an unpleasant taste right away. Upon closer inspection, some of the peanuts appeared to be moldy and rotten. The quality was clearly not up to standard, and it was not safe to eat. I am not sure how they are selling this low-quality product, it is completely against law, and they are playing on public health. As a regular customer, I expect better quality control, especially for packaged products. I hope the store takes this feedback seriously and looks into their inventory and storage practices to prevent this from happening to other customers.

It was warm and muggy when I walked but it isn't a big deal. First off, you cannot compare this place to HMart!!! They are completely different grocery stores because this one is 100% Korean and it's older. It is clean but it could be cleaner. All items sold at this store are in Korean and a little bit of English. There are English speaking people here (not a lot of them) however everyone does speak Korean which is fine by me because the staff were very very kind! Also, they do not sell fresh herbs or produce. Most of their food sold are packaged or frozen which come straight from Korea. They do have fresh meats and fish but I personally wouldn't buy meats here. All the fresh produce that they have like apples or Napa cabbage which aren't kept in coolers. They are on the floor around the open freezers which was odd because the store itself was not cold, it was warm throughout the store and I went here when it was 50 degrees outside. There array of numerous choices of frozen products are AWESOME! I will come back to buy dumplings and kimche and the selling point of this grocery store is that the prices are GOOD! for authentic imported Korean products, prices are so reasonable which is the best selling point of this place. Overall, I would go back just to by prepackaged and frozen food.
