Amazing food and great customer service! I came here for my friend's birthday. They were very accommodating. Customers and staff were very kind and friendly... which is very rare to find! It speaks volumes for the restaurant. I had the honor to meet the owners and they was a delight! The restaurant was full and filled with laughter and conversations. However, I was able to have a decent conversation with my friends. If that makes sense. You can feel the warmth in the restaurant - homey vibe. I had the chocolate pancakes and it was very filling. This place had amazing staff and felt like our server did an amazing job. The place was super cute inside and going in, it was super clean and felt "homey". The food was great at least for me. I came with a group and some of my friends had some complaints but I personally thought my food was good. I got the steak skillet with hasbrowns instead of the potatoes with a side of biscuits and gravy that I shared with my friends. First off, the steak was cooked good. I like rare and asked for that but got it more so medium rare to medium. It wasn't bad though. I felt like for a brunch spot it was still more tender than I expected. The one thing that caught me off guard was that it was bland. No seasoning or salt whatsoever but to me that's not a complaint because I honestly don't salt my food and prefer it this way so if I do, I can salt it on my own. If you're someone who expects it seasoned then be on the lookout. Maybe my situation was just a one off? The eggs were a perfect over easy just how I like it and the hashbrowns extra crispy just how I love. I genuinely thought it was a solid 8.5-9/10. Biscuits and gravy had so much sausage in the gravy too! It was super flavorful and I thoroughly enjoyed all my food. Ok - there are many breakfast/brunch options in the area, and on paper Siena Cafe has several good options, but unfortunately food was not great. Service was great - we were seated promptly and food was served quickly. My order was incorrect - I had ordered scrambled eggs and was given poached - I didn't bring it up as it's not a huge deal.. only the poached eggs could have been cooked a bit longer - the underside was all liquid. Hash browns were also undercooked and lukewarm. Meats were cooked ok, but everything required a heaping dose of salt, as none was added. Maybe we caught them on an off day, but if we are in the area I am not sure we would eat here again. read more

I was skeptical and dreading coming to this place since they had a lot of characteristics that I simply don't enjoy about a restaurant (industrial look with lots of open space and hard floors) but boy was I wrong. The siena combo came with 2 of each of the following - pancakes, bacon, sausage links, and eggs. The pancakes were fluffy and super moist. The bacon had a special flavor that was almost a little smokey and slightly sweet. The entire dish was just right. The chilequiles was a dish packed with protein, flavor, and variety also. It had a whole grilled chicken breast, two eggs, a bed of tortillas, some potatoes, guacamole, and fajita veggies. Both were really yummy and I could not have asked for a better meal! I have been coming here for a little over 2 years. Service is very 'superficial with toxic positivity'. The employees are passive aggressive. Because it is so close to where I live and convenient, I looked pass those nuances. Not once has the owner ever spoken to me, even when he was the one seating me - just a cold disposition. A disingenuous, inauthentic vibe in this restaurant. I have always ordered the same item and request my waffles to not be crispy and dark brown like a cookie. This time, after bringing the waffles back to me still crispy, I was told by the waitress this was the best they can do..?? A blatant lie as for a little over 2 years, this was not the case. She was very defensive in attitude and posture. Then I asked to speak to the Manager. He has seen me come in very frequently. He is also sitting 2 tables away from me facing me. But does not do anything to address the situation as I saw him go to the back with the waitress when I first sent them back. When the waitress told him I wanted to speak to him, as he is approaching my table he blurts out - 'Yeah, I am the owner and manager.' I responded great. My family has 6 restaurants in Florida so I am familiar with the restaurant business. My family always puts the customers first and makes sure everyone feels comfortable. I asked him why they could not simply remove my waffles before the timer so they are not crisp. They've been doing it. He proceeds to tell me this ridiculous story about how waffle makers stop working as they should after about 3-6 months and he is due to replace these and they are on a 3 min timer. I told him it is not that difficult to remove them before the 3 min. He continued to defend his position and stated the guys don't really know when to remove them and they all come out like that. This was a blatant lie. He did provide a 20% discount to my ticket. Removed the waffles and charged me a la carte for the eggs and sausage, which came out to what I would have paid with the bundled meal pricing. So I received no true discount - which isn't my point. But wanted to point this out to how they were still being deceptive, even in offering a discount. POC & BLM Beware. Spend your money where it is appreciated. read more

I came here to have brunch at 2:15p and was greeted by a worker saying they close at 2p. The sign AND YELP clearly states 3p. We walked in the door and half the restaurant already had chairs on top of the table. IF they truly closed at 2 why would the door be unlocked for guest to walk in? (Oh that's right they close at 3) If the Kitchen is closed then say that; however, the kitchen shouldn't close til the business closes. You'd think waiters would be the ones working til the last minute considering the pandemic we are in and the lack of business they are experiencing. Id much rather hear a different lie than we close at 2. I have ZERO interest to return and even try the restaurant if I get that kind of service TRYING to enter the restaurant. The messages here is go before 2, but to be safe I'd say go before 1p because if they truly close at 2 anyone entering after 1p they may tell you the kitchen has already closed.
