I came here to explore the store and do a little shopping. The store offers a wide variety of beverages, snacks, fresh produce, bakery items, hot ready-to-eat meals, and everyday grocery essentials. I was particularly interested in checking out the food court areas scattered throughout the store. There were plenty of dining options, but surprisingly, the two I wanted to order from had no staff available. Since I arrived around 1:00 PM, I found it unusual that some of the vendors were open with no staff in sight to assist customers during what would typically be peak lunch hours. read more

The service here is absolute dog trash. First and foremost, rarely anyone here knows how to speak English, secondly I was trying to find an item and the supervisor at the front told me that I should look for it myself and that it's my job to do that and didn't want to help, was giving me attitude and was very disrespectful..... never in my whole life have I walked up to a worker at a grocery store and they told me to look for the item myself. I can't believe she was even supervisor. She was lazy. She was either on her phone scrolling or talking to a friend that came to visit her. read more

I'm a sucker for Asian Markets. I wish I spoke the language but that's to Google I can look up the names of things. We typically order snacks off line for an inflated price and to come in and find them for a fraction of the price is a winner. There were a large assortment of Lay's brand chips, teas, snake cakes... look I'm like Dora the Explorer and I spent over an hour just perusing the aisle. Coconut Paradise and Small bites (bobble waffle) is also located in the grocery store. read more

The hot bar at the food court was very off today. The duck had so many bones you couldn't really eat it. It needs to be cut a different way. The steamed pork buns were so mushy and they fell apart so bad you couldn't tell between the buns or the paper and the buns themselves tasted like tapwater. The only good thing was the giant sesame balls. They were quite tasty and quite large. Large sweet tasty balls. If you like that sort of thing and I do hey don't judge! The sesame chicken was pretty typical and compares to fast food. I will have to go back and try again, but with different items. The fried rice was pretty lacking also. The supermarket itself is great for shopping but skip the hot bar at the food court and just grab yourself some Boba tea and some bakery items. Then hit the isles and load up on Pan Asian treats. They need more Hawaiian stuff though! read more

I love that 99 Ranch Market is in this shopping center with a handful of Asian eateries and stores. We love the large selection Asian goodies and the prices are good. We bought a 15lb bag of rice for $13.99. That is a great price! We also found gluten free soy sauce which I was happy to find since it's not easily available in stores. There is a Chinese restaurant to get dim sum and roasted duck. There is also an Asian bakery and a drink shop as well inside the market. The carts were wonky and old so it did take us a few minutes to find a decent cart. Overall, I will be back in the future for my Asian grocery needs. read more

My go to Asian grocery store! 99 ranch is very clean and organized with great variety of fresh produce, meat, seafood and dry goods! There is fresh seafood session so of course it smells a bit like the ocean by that area but it is not bad at all with great air circulation. I enjoy grocery shopping there once a week picking out fresh Asian vegetables like enoki mushroom, lotus root and bitter melon. I'd tolerate a lot but I don't tolerate cross contamination. I purposely separated my groceries (meat with meat, frozen with frozen, veggies with veggies, etc) as I loaded them on the conveyor belt with the intention of making it easier to bag. She proceeded to bag as she pleased. Chicken got bagged with tofu. Seafood with meat. Ew. It was bag enough she was eating chips as she was waiting for customers, but then she took forever to find a new gloves and it was clear she was in no hurry. Had I not been in a hurry, I would've asked to speak with a manager. Not okay. I will say the butcher department has been much better since my last review! read more

I was so happy to find this 99 Ranch market, as well as the whole shopping complex, as it has all the Asian stores and restaurants that remind me of my home town. This is a newer store and has a good selection of all the sauces, snacks, pickled items, fresh seafood/butcher, fresh produce, bakery and some household items. The only things I couldn't find were specifically Thai, so I guess they were out of stock. I found lots of goodies, some of which I pictured. The bakery area had a strange smell, but the rest of the store was clean and well organized. Service was sub-par, they could do better about reminding customers to use their reward number before checking you out...as other stores do...and the language barrier can be trying at times, but it won't stop me from heading back to get my Asian supplies! read more

My aunt got a chocolate mousse cake for my cousin's birthday. Turns out the cake had mold all over the bottom and my poor 98 year old grandpa (and the birthday boy both) ate half a slice before we noticed. See the disgusting pictures at your own discretion. On top of this, they invoiced my aunt for a mango mousse cake instead of a chocolate mousse cake on the receipt, which will only complicate things when we return the cake. Definitely do not recommend their bakery. Or if you do, make sure to check the the bottom of your pastry in case of any growing fungus. read more

This shop is awesome. I don't think it is quite as big as the H Mart on the other side of the highway, but impressive still. It is in the strip mall on the south side, and parking can be a bit tricky depending on when you go. On both sides of the entrance, they have little spots for prepared food. A poke place, pho,, dim sum, Chinese food, and a bakery. The produce is beautiful and has a wide selection of greens and herbs, boxes upon boxes of dried mushrooms, and even some exotic fruits! The meat and seafood are amazing. They have beef already prepared for shabu shabu (which is also awesome for cheese steak sandwiches), tanks full of fresh fish, freezers full of frozen, and an entire wall dedicated to frozen dumplings! If I had had my insulated tote, I would be neck deep in dumplings right now. Fresh noodles, instant noodles, and an entire shelf of chili pastes! They also have peanut butter, bit that is not as impressive. If you never make it farther than a Kroger, you should! Don't be intimidated, thinking you're not going to know what is in there. These specialty markets are amazing! And you will not be the only one taking pictures of dragon fruits. read more

They offer affordable and competitive prices on produce and meat, as well as having a wide variety of frozen foods to stock up on. There is plenty of parking outside, although during peak hours where the surrounding businesses have a lot of patrons, it may be harder to find parking. Aside from the groceries, there are a few options for grabbing food within the store - there is poke, boba tea, and dim sum. Whatever craving you have can be satisfied. When I first came, I was floored by how awesome this place was. Everything was cheap and the pastry shop was incredible. I've never seen such huge red bean buns and croissants. I also found yellow dragonfruit for $3.99/lb!! It was also pretty clean! Unfortunately, the cleanliness part has definitely gone downhill since it opened, which is the main reason for my average rating. I generally avoid it now and go to hmart instead, which is also close by. The pastry shop inside still makes the enormous breads and buns but I would prefer the tastier (albeit smaller) ones from 85 degrees right next door. The one thing I really would discourage anyone from doing is visiting the area that serves hot meals. Apart from possibly the roasted duck, avoid the congee, various mixed vegetables, rice cakes, anything fried, basically all of it. It's unremarkable and actually bad. You might find good deals on Asian fruits and vegetables or hard to find ingredients. But I tend to shop at hmart instead. read more

I love this store. They have everything you can think of for an Asian store. I love that they have a wide range of foods and their meats are nicely packed! The meat section is very clean and not smelly like some places. They play music, there's a deli inside, a coconut paradise dessert place that's delish! This is located in a very busy shopping strip. My only complaint is the buggy. Omg, these shopping carts need to be replaced. Their wheels are wobbly and it's very hard to push when you have a boba in one hand! Asked a customer service employee to check a price, she came back with a long face, no explanation and apology for the wrong price tag, only responded with the price was supposed to be, I could take it or leave it. The ladies on Sunday giving the samples are a joy. They really sale their products. We enjoyed our time and bring a ICE CHEST if you are driving a little distance. I have not been to the Food Court for 2 month for the 3 entrees deal. It was a great place to eat. Yesterday, after my family and I had a 3 entrees (orange chicken, veggie and beef and broccoli with noodle, we did not feel well. The food was way off. Not sure they have changed ownership or chef. The selections are out of place and it isn't as organized as other 99 ranch markets that I have visited. It does have all your basic asian needs. I prefer 69 Raunch to 99 Ranch but that's another story for another day. 99 Ranch is another amazing International Grocery Store chain, with all kinds of delights from all over the world inside. I highly recommend it. This one in particular is excellent because they have a truly amazing bubble tea shop inside. The fruit teas so far are nothing to write home about but the brown sugar milk tea is excellent. They don't kick you out of here until closing time and it's a great place to hang out for international Delights. read more

Kind of a drive from my neck of the woods, but well worth it to buy heretofore unheard of vegetables and spices (more varieties of daikon than thought possible, though made even more intriguing by use of its less common (to English speakers) Chinese moniker: "lobak") I digress. I opted for hipster favorite Red Boat, though I was back-and-forth. I was pleased to note my earlier selection (3 crabs) was bought by the case by the dude preceding me in the checkout line. As for the meats and seafood--to sound like a millenial: Awesome sauce! Or do they say that? In any event, they had a really nice selection, though the stock of bones for my beef stock was low when I went late in the day. Snooze=lose. Juss sayin'... I will say that the pho I produced following this spree was delish, even if I somehow almost burned it...twice. (I am aware it *is* soup...) Also, the rock sugar had me thinking I was some high-end jewel thief, even if i know some who would call those mere "canary diamonds"--aka yellow is not the most sought after color, and though it seems hard enough to function in a drill bit, it effortlessly dissolved into the broth)... I went back a few days later and got more sliced ribeye for a few cheesesteaks I made, though I found it far easier to buy bread at a nearby bakery--ok, ok, I meant the non Asian grocery down the street. Lastly, I for one didn't find the store "fishy" smelling. Then again, I have never posted a review on Amazon highlighting the overpowering plastic fumes of a plastic doodad or lamenting on eBay that the seller must be a pack-a-day smoker, never before have I bought a spatula so intensely perfumed by Lucky Strikes. If you get turned off by the "unique" smell of most authentic Asian markets, then this might be the perfect grocer for you. For me, I found it to be way too "vanilla" (types the very White girl....merp). Fairly generic, had some of the staple items I use for home cooking, but very small inventory compared to the big guy across the street. IMHO 99 Ranch Market is much more well suited for the novice Asian cook...and/or those who want to also be able to purchase Bonito flakes and A1 steak sauce (not kidding) in one trip. Just look at the variety of shoppers if you visit. "There's your sign!" On the plus side, the stmore is super clean and they do have a very nice selection of fresh fish (both live and on ice). And, if you want a snack, you can always check out "What The Pho?!" located in the front right corner of the store. Personally, I'm going to stick with HMart while in the area. Came here on Saturday and was happy to find front space parking bc it's usually crowded. Had to pick up a few items and they have a nice variety of tofu and sauces. Loved that they had food samples to offer. The store is clean and organized well. Love their food court as I picked up quite a few dim sum items to go like spring rolls, fried pork dumplings, stuffed eggplant, bbq pork. Pork dumpling, turnip cake. Shrimp dumpling, pork spare ribs, and chicken feet. They have a great bakery too. Passed on those as I am watching my sugar intake. They also sell prepared/cooked roast pork, BBQ pork, soy sauce chicken and duck. You can buy half a duck or a whole duck. Your choice which is nice. read more
