Funny that's my go to place for ground beef. Price is usually 1.99-2.99, not sure why the prices have been up and down. These are 80% by the way, and beats any other local grocery. Bought Beef ribs (Kalbi) To charcoal grill for my family. The beef tasted like it had been almost ready to expire, then they froze it, and resold it later partially frozen and spoiled. DO NOT BUY MEAT HERE. I would not want anybody else to have this negative experience. read more

They have the BEST produce of any market we've visited recently. My wife was wondering how they get the best and then we shrugged it off and bought what we needed and will be back for the produce, excellent selection and great customer service. They have so many options for simple things like Ramen (but it's not simple, is it? There is a lot of thought that goes into it!). We found old favorites and because they were offering samples, found new favorites, too. It's a beautiful market and the businesses around the market are great - we will become regulars here, for sure. read more

It was the only place I got to visit New Years Eve, and it was bright and people were shopping. I was surprised there were only two cashiers so the lines were longer than normal, but they moved along relatively quickly. The plus for me, coming from central tx were the prices yay for more affordable snacks and food prices. I also stopped by the food court some stores were closed due to the holiday but I picked up some food and snacks. I will be back before I go back home this weekend. read more

This is my go-to place for Asian groceries. They have a huge selection of vegetables, meat, and grocery items. The quality of the produce is sometimes iffy and you have to check it carefully before buying. The store has a great selection of spices, sauces, rice, noodles, snacks, frozen items, and other grocery products from South Korea and Japan. read more

This grocery store is amazing. Anything you expect from other big Korean supermarket is all here- Banchan (side dishes), jjigae (stew), Jun (savory pancake), raw fish & meat, vegetables, frozen food, and all kinds of Korean snack you saw from K Pop Demon Hunters! Their food court is also amazing. You can eat your meals as well as deserts. So many different options to choose from. If you just wan Korean BBQ or Shabushabu (hotpot), just go to Manna restaurant, you can see it outside by the supermarket door. Their kimchi is wonderful. Hair salon in side the supermarket takes walk in customers. The owner has the fastest hands to style your hair. Last not least, this place is in Vista Ridge Mall where dogs are allowed. Zion Market is a hidden gem. I absolutely love this market. I can find all of my grocery needs here and the crowd is minimal compared to H-Mart. The workers are very kind and some speak English - which is helpful. Coming from Hawaii, it was a challenge to find asian restaurants and learning to make homemade food to satisfy the hunger. I had no idea there were so many different types of Shoyu or noodles. I was in heaven! The vegetables and fruits look fresh and is at a reasonable priced. Can't go wrong with the grocery prices. Zion Market also sells kitchenware, bath supplies, tupperware, and much more! It may seem overwhleming at first, but after a couple of visits, you'll know where to go :) read more

I wished we lived closer, as we would come more often. Atmosphere/Ambiance - 4/5 - Not as big as H-Mart, but more "traditional" Staff - 3/5 - Typical asian market. You have to either track them down, and once you do, you have to play the fun game of explaining what you want if you cannot find it haha Normally for reviews, I explained what I ordered, but since this is a food market, I will do it a little differently. This will not be the 'cleanest' market you will go to. However, most people who know that come to markets like these expect that. The goal is to find cheap international items and produce when you come to stores like these. As long as you can hit the sales, then it is worth coming here to grab specially marked items in addition to cheap produce. Its less congested than H-Mart with a better parking lot in my opinion and its cleaner. I can run right in and grab whatever I need. A better H-mart! Making a big claim here. Like H Mart, this is a Korean grocery supermarket. There is a wide array of food selection here, though Not as much American food as there is in H Mart. This place has generally better deals than H Mart. In addition, they give out free food samples, which is a nice touch. They also have a lot of great pre-prepared food for sale. It also tends to not be as busy as H Mart, and the parking is much more navigable. Highly recommend checking out. read more

I frequent this place. I mostly go for the food! They have the best Korean fried chicken in the Dfw. The market is pretty nice. They have all the traditional foods to offer, and they have great fruit. I'd definitely recommend. My only complaint is the smell when you walk in isn't too pleasant however it's very clean. read more

Food Court - Korean Noodle & Dumpling TERRIBLE!!!! The lady was eating watching her phone while I was waiting to order. I also asked for packets or a side of spicy sauce. She said there is none. I asked for more napkins, she said she already gave me some with the food. Those small thin napkins. Absolutely no customer service at all. Very cool concept and maybe they are working out some kinks but I was gravely saddened by how many food stalls were closed or not just simply not open. Wah. We were looking forward to trying one particular place- the corn dog place, CLOSED. Whomp. Dang. We tried the pho place- it was so strange, they had people helping but she didn't have many answers to the questions I was asking- she was nice though. I'm really not sure what was going on. We ordered the garlic pho. Super salty. Good flavor but not my style. We also ordered egg rolls, they were out on the pork ones but we ordered the others and they didn't have much flavor. We also tried the stall a couple of hops down- maybe the stall is called TODAYS'S Menu? We tried the stuffed cheesy chicken cutlet- flavor miss here too. I'm sure they have great items, we will try again soon, today was not a good day at the Zion market for us. read more

They have a great assortment of snacks in the market and a cute little food court you can check out that offers korean corn dogs. In terms of quality of grocery, I have always preferred Zion Market over Hmart. I would always choose Zion over Hmart when I used to live in ATL, and I thought it would be the same here. The Zion Market here is HUGE, located inside a dead mall and it boasts of a pretty expansive food court and a Paris Baguette, some things the Duluth branch doesn't have. This reminds me of the Mega Mart in Duluth in the dead Gwinnett Place Mall. This Zion is also always less crowded than Hmart, mainly because its location is not in the heart of Carrollton. So overall -- this is where it is better than Hmart, but I've noticed that some of the produce is not always there. I wanted big green onions once and I could not find them, but the next time I went, it was there, compared to hmart where they always have what I need even if the quality is sometimes questionable. The mart is really big and it's way bigger than the Zion in Duluth so I would definitely come here, but the location truly is inconvenient considering the rest of Koreatown is a bit of a drive away. But sometimes, Zion is worth that extra drive just checking out what they have because nine out of ten times, the quality will be better than Hmart. read more

New place to have fun shopping and eating out both. This Korean grocery store has them all: groceries, a bakery, a small toy shop, the Korea ginseng, and the food court that sells 10 different Korean trendy food such as Korean hotdogs, Korean black noodles, knife cut noodles, Korean version of Vietnamese noodles, and pork cutlets which is I really like most, huge enough to share with family. So my family usually spend three hours grocery shopping and eating all together. And there's kids indoor playground that kids can accommodate it. This building was converted department store into the grocery shopping, so it's really spacious and plenty of parking. I've liked this grocery shopping in LA when I lived in LA, and happy to see this in this area even though little bit pricier than other places. read more

Nice and clean, lots of great little Korean groceries. I was out of spicy ramen so I grabbed a pack of the kimchi kind. A bag of cubed radish kimchi. A snack pack of rice crackers and a couple of live lobsters. I stopped by one of the side shops for some rose face masks.. after we snagged the groceries, we headed to the food court for some take out. The corn dog place looked really fun but we were on a mission for those chicken wings. You could get fries but there's an amazing dumpling and noodle place too so we split up to order. The wings will make a great addition to any party.. so crunchy and crispy. Even the hottest version isn't too spicy at all. The soup dumplings and steamed shrimp dumplings are fantastic. The trick to the soup dumplings is take a small bite, drink the broth inside then shove that dumpling in your face! The shrimp dumplings are great too with the spicy ponzu sauce. As we ride home with our bag full of treasures, I was happy indeed. The lobsters are so delicious in a spicy boil. Messy to be sure but succulent and dripping with lemon butter.. My friend picked up a bag of frozen steamed dumplings as well. I'd go back, just for the wings. But... that corn dog place may have to be tried as well. Go there, get something! Zion Market is officially my new favorite place in DFW! We discovered this little gem while visiting the Music City Mall, and promptly fell in love. The food court in Zion market is absolutely amazing, with about a dozen little places to order delicious Asian dishes from. Everything is reasonably priced and super fresh. We have had meals from several of the vendors, and enjoyed literally everything! The supermarket area is also amazing, with crazy deals on fresh, beautiful produce as well as an insane selection of frozen dumplings! We also love the meat area, where you can get some pretty amazing fresh meat for decent prices. We will be back here at least once a month, I highly suggest everyone check this place out! read more

Golly, I love grocery stores. This was my first visit to Zion. It is located inside the Music City Mall, formerly Vista Ridge. I don't know when it changed, and I may be showing my age here, but I also haven't been to this mall in like 20 years. We only visited this store and they have an entrance from the outside so you don't have to enter the mall proper. I stumbled upon them on yelp, and though I don't live in the area, it is closer than the HMart or 99Ranch up in Carrollton. It has everything you expect from an Asian grocery store. The little specialty shops as you walk in, and a little food court. They weren't all open, but...covid. One thing about these stores, the produce is always on point. They're not selling you past their prime veggies. The proteins are always displayed well, and the frozen section rocks. Anytime I come, I like to get something I've never tried before. Whether it be snacks, sauces, or even ramen. This store isn't as big as the ones in Carrollton, so you don't have the same selection of chili pastes or teas, but it is a large store with plenty of staples. Checkout was fast and easy and we picked up a couple tempura shrimp to snack on on the way out. Totally worth the trip. read more

Two Hands: Mozzarella Dog ($3.49) - I really enjoyed the all cheese mozzarella dog here. It's very similar to Myungrang Hot Dog in Carrollton. I'd choose Myungrang Hot Dog over this place though because of the sauces. Don't get me wrong though, this place is still very good! 2. Today's Meal: Chicken Katsu ($9.99) - Amazing flavors and huge portions. The katsu had a different sauce than what I'm used to. It wasn't your normal red sauce, but I really enjoyed it. Creamy and garlicky. The chicken was a little on the dry side though. 3. Korean Noodle and Dumplings: Black Bean Noodles ($8.00) - Your normal black bean noodle flavor and huge portions. It sucks their grand opening is during a pandemic but no one predicted this. It's a big grocery store similar to Hmart. There's a food court and smaller shops surrounding it. On top of that, it's attached to a mall if you want to go shopping afterwards. Full day event right there. I can't help but compare this grocery store to HMart because they're both Korean and have similar stuff. Except Hmart carries fresher produces and food in general. Maybe it'll change after they work out the kinks. I didn't get to try much of the food court but I did tried the jajangmeng at Zion's Noodles. Not bad. I'd come here again but it's so far. It's a trek to get here so maybe one day I'll come back to try other stuff at the food court. read more

Total hidden jem of a korean market on the side of the Music City Mall. It's great because it's not super crowded like the korean markets in Carrollton and it has an amazing food court and korean bakery. We went during the weekday and basically was able to order food from the food court and do some light grocery shopping while waiting for our orders to be made. The produce is fresh and surprisingly there is a HUGE variety. If you go into the back R corner, there are some ready made snacks. We also stocked up on picked sides. read more
