However, they did send two gentlemen to my house to look at it. It was determined I would need new slide rails. The gentleman were knowledgeable and friendly. They manually got the slide in and helped put tiedowns all the way around my camper. I connected my camper, drove it to Stearns. Within four days I had my camper back and was ready to go on my next trip. I would highly recommend everyone there. I felt the price was very reasonable. I was very nervous about what it would cost.

They replaced the awning. The new one is all wrinkle on one side when they gave the RV back. We told her it was not installed properly and she started screaming like a maniac to get out of the office and off the property. There is no way I would let an idiot like this ever touch my RV again. I wish I had paid attention to the online reviews before going there. A qualified business will fix what they damaged and hopefully the court will make them pay for it although it says online they don't pay their judgements. I don't understand why they are still allowed to operate. The photo below shows right side of awning wrinkled and a grove in it. Also the motor is running slow. It is plain to see that they didn't cut the awning correctly. Articles found on the web say if RV awning is not installed straight it can also burn out the motor. They told me 3 techs worked on it for 5 hours. They also repeated overheated the motor with their incorrect install and 5 hours of running the awning in and out. At one point they called and said the motor was bad, but an hour later it was good again. It was over heating and opening the motor protection thermistor and removing power till the motor cooled. The awning only needed to be replaced and now I have a major repair job. YOU DON'T WANT TO GO ANYWHERE NEAR THIS BUSINESS

I questioned it at pickup and he completely denied the offer and only referenced the proposal document. I would expect a man to honor his promise regardless of my lack of attention and honor the verbal agreement. He did not. Due to this I have purchased all of my optional equipment, water, sewer filtration, etc elsewhere (over $1,000). I will not be recommending campers inn of Philadelphia or returning to them other than for warranty purposes which I will be closely watching.

As I was waiting for it to be done my rep and the mechanic come out and tell me I need brakes and if I wanted them to do it. I had hardly used the RV and the mechanic said that sometimes on GMC'S the brake controller is not right. Well I told them I would take it to my mechanic to have the brakes done. After I dropped the RV off at my mechanic ,they told me to come get it that I didn't need brakes . It was 3 or more years later that I needed brakes. Another incident : I had to have a new roof put on RV (over $10,000). About a year after it was done I went in for my forever warranty inspection and was told the roof needed new seals ($1200).How is this possible they just did the new roof less than a year ago. So, I had them redo seals on roof. Now less then a year later I am getting ready for a trip and my bed is wet. I go up on the roof and the seal on fan over my bed is severly cracked. Call General RV and let them know ( they only warranty seals for 3months). There answer was it was a rough year weather wise for seals. How about that for bullshit!!Every year must be a rough year for seal . It's either that or forbid I say maybe they don't know what they are doing at their work establishment. Needless to say I am going to let my forever warranty expire just so I don't have to deal with such incompetence and thievery. It a shame that we RVer's have to deal with companies like this. No hot water, no stablizers, fridge should work on both electric and gas, didn't work. Plus boot marks and filth in my RV after dewinterization. No problem, but when I asked to have somebody look at it.. Earliest 3rd week in August!!!!
