Thursday, September 25 I made the switch to Spectrum. I called and advised them to cancel my service. It took several weeks to roll my phone number over, but I was no longer using their internet and tv services after that date. I received a bill just after the switch, then a full price bill again in October, then a $167 closeout statement! $517 after Service was cancelled. It's only been a few months and truthfully, Spectrum isn't better but it is $180 Cheaper per month. If Frontier hadn't been so dishonest in their billing and gave me an equivalent price, I would come back, but I despise fraudulent practices and I FULLY believe that this is what they have done and I plan to take this farther to stop them from fraudulent billing.

I even have one of their relay towers within 500 feet of my home, and in the beginning the service was decent. Over time, however, the connection slowed significantly. When I called customer service, they upgraded me at no extra cost, but only after I asked. I found it frustrating that they don't automatically extend available upgrades to loyal customers. Their policy seemed to be that you have to complain or ask before they offer improvements--even if your service is struggling. That didn't make sense to me from a customer service standpoint. In the past year, the issues have gotten worse. Video meetings often cut out or force me to turn off my camera because of poor connection speed. I've spent countless hours troubleshooting and calling customer support, but nothing has resolved the problem. I finally tested a new internet option and was shocked at the difference: four times the speed at half the cost. When I called to cancel Unwired, they didn't even try to keep me as a customer--they simply admitted their product wasn't the best available and let me go. My advice: Before signing up with Unwired, research other options. It doesn't take long to find better internet service at a much better price.

Night being the DARK SIDE of things with Frontier and Hugesnet Day being the BRIGHT SIDE of things Supernet 360 Our system went down recently because of a Supernet 360 system upgrade. A call to John was made the wee hours of early Sunday morning.... By 8 AM that morning John responded and explained their upgrading and by the early afternoon, it was back up and running! Not only did they provide an extremely reasonable quote, but they also went above and beyond by driving to my location to pick up the phone. What I expected to take a day or two was repaired in about 30 minutes, and they promptly dropped it back off as soon as the repair was finished. Their service was fast, professional, and incredibly efficient, and their customer service truly exceeded expectations. Despite the bad reviews on yelp I took a chance. I told the guy I wanted the charging port changed and a new battery put in since the phone wasn't holding charge. He said it's a straight forward process but is a bit time consuming and would take few days. Cool. I also wanted a new battery for the phone. He didn't have it in stock. I ended up ordered it from Amazon and he said he'd drop it in while he was swapping out the port. Cool. So I paid my $100 deposit and dropped off the phone On Feb. 25. A week goes by I hadn't heard from them. So I go in for an update. The sent us a faulty port. It'll take another week. I wait a week. Didn't hear back from them so I go back for an update. 2nd. excuse: oh it's on the bench and I just need to put it back together. I'll give you a call soon as it's done. A week goes by. No call. So I go back. The guy working on it wasn't there. The other guy working there didn't know what was going on. So I go back the next week. 3rd. Excuse: we need to swap out the circuit board.... it'll take another week to get it in. Fine. I go back. Guy wasn't there again. The other guy again didn't know what was going on with the phone. Go back again the next week. Again the dude was gone. But the 4th excuse was the other dude was at Lancaster all week because his brother had to get Chemo.... So this goes on and on and on and on and on. No communication whatsoever. I go back 5/1. The guy was finally there and said he need to test the phone and asked if I wanted to come back. Really? I told him to test it while I was there. He supposedly did and said it everything was fine. The lighting port was super tight and the phone wouldn't charge or turn on. THE PHONE WAS STILL WORKING WHEN I DROPPED IT OFF. THIS DUDE BROKE IT. Honestly I should be more angry about it than I am. But whatever. This place sucks and should not be in business. It was easily the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life and that's not hyperbole. If you have any computer or phone issues, I would highly recommend you saving yourself the aggravation and going out of town.
