I was greeted quickly by co-owner, Suzanne Deason. She told me about the sale, with pieces marked 40% off! I've been looking for a sofa, but I looked at everything. They carry a mix of very high and medium priced decor. Dion Deason, Suzanne's spouse and biz partner came out and we talked a long time. They do remodeling and interior design with 35 years of experience. Most of their clients order furniture to custom specifications. I thought I may have been in a little over my head, but they were down to earth. Most of the furniture is custom made in North Carolina. He taught me what to look for in sofa cushions. The furniture they had in the showroom was a mix of modern and trendy. I did see a couple sofas I really like and with the sale, they were quite affordable. I haven't bought anything, yet. But I'm close. As with all of Zionsville, parking is hit or miss. I'm not sure the store is very wheelchair accessible with the tight quarters. I love shopping local and avoiding the chains.

She knew it wasn't returnable and didn't give me the heads up that I shouldn't take a chance that it wouldn't fit and I would be stuck with it. On top of that, she told the contractor that I wanted the brick tile stacked in my shower when I explicitly told her that I wanted it horizontal brick pattern. So I'm stuck with that too. Even after I spent all that money at the Kohler store the manager and the owner, Joe Rotskoff, were such jerks and acknowledge how I was misled and ripped off. I would not recommend anybody to deal with the Kohler store in Indianapolis.

The Kohler hardware was purchased from Donnie Briggs at Kohler, and the tilework and installation was done by Mark Groce. Mark has strong attention to detail from getting the grout mix and color to carefully placing each tile. The process could take a while since some of the items needed may need to be custom cut. We're incredibly happy with the craftsmanship and quality of the finished shower. I highly recommend both Donnie Briggs for hardware and Mark Groce for his construction/installation work and both of them are great with design and attention to detail. I recommend future clients to be involved in the construction process, as it helps with communication and decisions. I would gladly work with both Donnie and Mark again for any future projects.

When embarking on our home renovation, on our 22 year old house, we really didn't have a good idea…read moreof what we wanted to do other than replace our outdated carpet in our main living area with hardwood floors. My wife had some general ideas of things she had seen in magazines and on TV, but we really didn't know where to start or what steps to take. My main concern was finding/scheduling the right people to do the work, once we decided what we wanted to do. That's when we went to the Indianapolis Home Show and found the Harmony Homes booth and met Marcie. The booth was decorated with the "right" feel that immediately attracted my wife to their vibe. A few weeks after that encounter we were contacted based on our visit with them at the home show. We set up our initial appointment and started the process of defining our project and getting their expertise and advice to guide us through the journey. After meeting with Michelle and Sydney a half dozen times over a few month period the picture started coming into view as they provided renderings and suggestions as to features we might want to include. When they suggested something that we didn't think was the right fit, there were no egos or hurt feelings, they just continued to try find what we were happy with, even though we may have changed our minds several times. As the project continued to take shape it grew as we saw the possibilities and "The Girls" always were eager to go with the flow and accommodate our needs and desires. Once the work physically started on the house the scheduling and workmanship was as smooth as could be. Communication was always open and if we had any questions all we had to do was text or call and they were always available in short order. They provided at least weekly visits on site during the renovation, more if needed. Once the work had completed our renovation consisted of: - Installing / re-finishing hardwood floors in 3 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, nook and walk-in closets - Installing a porcelain tile floor in the dining room, with a hardwood border - Removing carpet from the stairway and installing hardwood tread and risers and replacing the hand rail and installing Iron balusters. - Painting 7 rooms, walk-in closets and hallways, including a feature/gallery wall in the living room - New rugs in bedrooms and living room. - New window shades in living room, nook, dining room and bedrooms - New furniture in living room and one bedroom. - Adding a new chandelier along with sconces in the living room while moving other light fixtures around. - Adding the special touches to complete the décor and hanging pictures on the gallery wall. "The Girls" from Harmony were always there to help provide furnishings and give advice on other purchases (including furniture) that we made as a part of the process. They scheduled all of the manpower for moving existing furniture, demo, construction and even when that effort extended outside of the house to repair roofing or sealing windows that we found were leaking and causing damage. The professionalism and accommodating approach of "The Girls" at Harmony Homes was all we could have asked for, and we ARE VERY HAPPY with the experience and the result.
