If you come early service is usually good. We've had great waitress but this time we had one that was rude. Walked in at 9am and we didn't get over food until 940, I ordered toast and she marked pancakes and to top it off, didn't bring them out until we were ready to leave. Asked if I wanted a refill when we were ready to leave. Service and accuracy of the order left a lot to be desired. read more

We're in town for some work on our RV, and needed an early breakfast. Really glad that we tried this place! My husband & I had omelettes, and they were large enough to take half back for lunch. The place was busy however our server was rude she acted like it was a huge inconvenience to get a 2nd cup coffee and my pancake were so cold the butter not melt. My friends ordered her food with gravy on the side it was delivered with gravy on top. Not the severs fault but her reply to us when she told her that's not what she ordered was "well they put it on top, I guess I can check to see if they will re make it " I may try to give them a 2nd chance if I am in town again but not going out of my way to go there. read more

The breakfast food is always consistent and it's pretty decent. The service is always inconsistent, however. The waitresses act as if you're putting them out when they take your order. We've never had friendly service. Never! The hours at this place are odd as well. They aren't open 7 days a week and they close early on some days. I don't have their schedule memorized and we've headed their way not knowing if they were going to be open. "Normal" hours would be nice. As long as you know what to expect, it's an ok place to eat. For a newbie, it could be a total turn off. We go for the breakfast, not the service. read more

We had a great experience. The service was fantastic and our food was equally as impressive. I had a skillet breakfast and while all the components were individually yummy I would have loved it more if it had more glue (I.e. gravy). Next time I will simply ask for more. The portion size was huge and I ate leftovers for breakfast the next day as well. Hubby had eggs and crispy bacon just as ordered. Eggs prepared without burnt edges. Huge delicious omelets. Worth it just for that. Tons of other breakfast choices too. I like the grits. Fresh fruit is yummy. Pancakes and hashbrowns could be cooked longer. When I say I made a yelp account JUST to write this review, I mean that. It's extremely hard to find a restaurant that's meant for one specific genre of food, then nails down other food genres as well. If you're looking for amazing lunch/dinner at a breakfast joint, go to this restaurant. I ordered fettuccine Alfredo and it honestly was the best I've ever had. Not bland whatsoever and had the most flavors Ive tasted from Alfredo, even the pasta from olive garden. Customer service was also amazing, very smiley and checked on our table at least 3 times. The vibe and the entirety of the restaurant felt so welcoming. Definitely will be eating here again, absolutely amazing. read more

We were in town for an RV rally at Fleetwood. We ordered the pancake sandwich (2 light fluffy pancakes with 3 eggs and a nice thick slice of grilled ham between) and a melted pot skillet ( 3 eggs over skillet of hot crispy hash browns with melted cheddar and crunchy onions served with wheat toast. Your food is prepared "fresh" but my fried potatoes tasted like everyone else's. Nice Waitress, clean Environment. Locals seated around talking about The Good Old Days adds to the environment. Decent prices with nice Portions. I've never had Pancakes. Come here for a Breakfast Treat every so often...never have been disappointed. Neither will you. read more

Imagine if Denny's had less flavor, worse service and was placed in an abandoned Burger King. The confusion of still having the burger king "order counter" and "please wait to be seated" set up (especially when they don't have a sign explaining anything) is thoroughly annoying to a first time customer. The mushroom burger comes with mushrooms, onions, lettuce, tomatoes and pickles with mozzarella cheese. Let me say that again, a mushroom burger with mozzarella. Its like Indiana is allergic to flavor. The biscuits and gravy my wife had were the most bland I'd ever had. And for some reason had a menthol taste. Wtf.... read more

We ate breakfast here on a Sunday morning. The food was good although the hash browns needed to be more brown. Not crispy or very flavorful. But the eggs & breakfast meat were yum. I had decaf coffee and it was great. My husband, who is an OJ snob, said their juice was very good; not watered down. If you're looking for breakfast anytime of the day this is a great place the food is awesome the service leaves a little to be desired. If you like a loud waitress that can be heard from anywhere inside the restaurant talking to everyone like they're her best friend and flirting with the cook . The other one was just trying to cover all the tables and not doing a very well job of that. The food is great but the service is horrible seems like the one waitress all she wanted to do was flirt with the Chef and yell constantly talking loud I ordered a skillet two eggs over hash browns and peppers with chicken fried steak and sausagravy with white toast. I didn't receive my toast until I was almost done eating and my wife and I both had sweet teas I was offered a refill once and my wife was never offered a refill. my mother is diabetic and needs sugar free syrup for her pancakes ask for sugar free syrup, gets regular syrup then was brought sugar-free syrup when she was about two-thirds done with her pancakes. the food was great the service sucked read more

Went back again during a weekday at 9 on my way to work on a late day. Service is slow and very poor quality at this place. On this visit the sever poured my coffee, came back and took my order and another server dropped it off. That was the only time I seen a server. All I had to drink with my biscuits and gravy was one cup of coffee. There were 3 servers and 3 tables of customers I.e. It was empty. I never had my coffee refilled or a glass of water at the table. I had to go up to the counter to get my bill to leave. I was so thirsty on my way to work I drank the bottle of water in my lunch box. Do not go to this place if service is high on you list. Been there twice and haven't seen acceptable service. I might and that is debatable go back. The food is good and huge portions but I expect a certain level of service at a resturant. read more

Had a great experience at the Indiana Pancake House. Went for breakfast after camping at a local state park. Our waitress was one of the perkiest, most cheerful people I have ever met! She was covering about six tables until another waitress' shift started, but she was taking care of everyone just fine. She carried on happy banter with regulars and one time guests. The food was tasty -- I had eggs Benedict served with some veggies; my husband had eggs, hash browns, and two pancakes. Everything tasted very good. The two pancakes were plate-sized. Lots of food for the price. It was apparent from those around us that you could order off any part of the menu at any time of day -- like breakfast for dinner or vice versa. read more

This was our first visit to their new location. The food took a little longer than expected. When we received it, the hash browns were cold and the biscuits were burnt. Not just over brown, but literally black. Upon opening my napkin, I found cheese welded to my knife and napkin. Our server was very apologetic, but we never saw a manager. Overall the wait service was good, but the food and cleanliness was definitely below par. We will not be going back. read more
