Double burger with pepper jack, bacon, bbq mayo, and onion pedals.

The place is very pretty inside and nicely decorated. The chairs are comfortable and the tables are pretty. The service was adequate nothing bad or memorable about it. The burger looked really good but it was definitely lacking in seasoning. The fries were hot and fresh.

This is the $20 plate of food that we were served minus a bite of mashed potatoes and one beef tip.

The food was absolutely horrible. We started with the onion petals. To start with, they were lukewarm. I took a bite and I could not bite through the onion! The breading was mushy. My husband looked at me before I even said anything and said "these are awful". We thought oh well and the waitress was really nice and took them away and said she would take them off our bill so I was like ok fine. Then we ordered the filet beef tips and taters to share (I can only eat a little bit so we always share). Sounded really good on the menu. When it was brought out, it was 4 beef tips on a bit of mashed potatoes with free flowing gravy. I took one beef tip and some potatoes. I started eating and the first thing I put in my mouth was a bite of mash and gravy. You know those cheap packets of gravy you buy and mix with water? That gravy tastes better than the gravy we were served. The gravy was sooooo salty and had a bitter taste. My hubby said the same thing and he said let's go find another place to eat - I can't eat this. So we got up and was going to pay for the meal and the manager took it off and only charged for the beer he drank. We left the waitress a $10 tip because it wasn't her fault and she was very nice and apologetic. We eat out ALL the time and I can't even remember the last time we complained. But this food was just bad. We owned a restaurant a long time ago and there are different "levels" of food. We did the food tasting at Cisco and there was a huge difference between the levels. It's obvious that they chose to go with the lower quality of food. I'm not trying to be nasty but I'm 60 years old and this ranks up there as one of the worst dining experiences I have had. Very disappointed.

    Pulled pork stuffed giant potato.

After eating lunch I went home and became very sick. It was definitely food poisoning. Will never go there again.

been twice both time the wait staff were poorly trained to handle the customers, no active managers and long wait times for cold food.

What types of bar games? Pool tables? Thanks!

I was at "The Local Saloon" 2 days ago and did not see any bar games. I plan on going again this weekend and will ask the question directly to staff.

The bar area is old school cozy, and darker hued. Both areas are beautiful! The kitchen is open (always a plus) and filled with a very talented culinary team. Hosts are warm and welcoming. Service is impeccable with great attention to details, yet somehow, not stuffy. We've dined at Joseph Decuis many times over the years. There was a very brief period when the menu was a bit less than expected, mind you BRIEF, but we were happy to experience an evening dinner this past weekend that was once again par excellence! Exactly why we choose Joseph Decuis for special evenings out! As others have mentioned, it is pricey. However, if you appreciate exquisite freshness, innovation, and preparation (truly an art), and are looking for something out of the ordinary, don't hesitate to make a reservation! Photos of tonight's menu and some of our choices (a table of four) with explanations, below.

We ordered tartar as a starter, and tomahawk Waygu steaks and while they were prepared properly, they were both just so bland. Both my business partner and I left the evening saying, "meh. That was underwhelming." I've had better steaks from my own cast iron pan at home with a sprinkle of sea salt. Another point of contention was that I specifically asked for a green vegetable and I was given carrots and peppers. Nothing green. For a meal that cost an arm and a leg, it was disappointing. Stars are for the great servers and the atmosphere.

It's not dry, which I've never had a non-dry scone before. Perfect level of sweetness and very flavorful. Whatever flavor scone is made that day, you need to get it. 5/5 stars. Blueberry Cake - Oh my god, this was the best. The cake was moist but not overly moist. Not too much crumb, but it was still airy. The blueberry filling was perfect, not too sweet and no added fillers. The icing was nice and smooth, and again, not too sweet. Perfect amount of icing to cake ratio. If all their cakes are this good, I'll die happy in my sugar coma. 5/5 stars. Blood Orange Tea - So I don't know much about tea, so bear with me. At first, I didn't really taste much. I let it sit for 5 minutes before pouring a cup. Now after I took a bite of the scone, suddenly I could taste the flavors of the tea. Going back and forth between the scone and tea was exciting, but the tea by itself is just ok. I'm probably just used to sweet drinks, so it's just not my cup of tea. Ha ha, yeah, that was awful, I know. I couldn't resist making a stupid joke. 4/5 stars. Southern Charleston Sweet Tea - Fantastic! Loved the sweetness and the peach flavor. My only gripe is the paper straw. I abhor paper straws. They always make everything taste off. Bring your own straw, but just don't use a paper straw. 5/5 stars. The decor is amazing. Service is spectacular and friendly. Gift shop is cute. I would like a way to buy more slices of cake or scones to go, that would be a good use of the shop. Go here, you won't regret it. They said they are normally packed, and that you'll need a reservation most of the time. We walked in on a Tuesday afternoon at 2pm, and there were maybe 10 other guests, so maybe 1/4 full. I'll be back for more cake and scones. Thanks for such a great place!

Our evening turned out like this. It was 5:30pm we entered the restaurant and stood patiently in the family dining area . No one came. We sent a scout to the bar upstairs. He came down and told us that we could bring the 8 year old up if we sat in the hallway but it seated 4. Our scout carried a chair upstairs for our 5th party. We waited another 8 min. No one came . After 10 min. We prepared to leave . A server said, " are you leaving?". Yes! And we left. This was a Friday night experience. The server was there by herself. She was intending to cook-serve and bar tend. I wish this place the best. It's adorable. Since I can't judge the food or really the service, my suggestion is to call ahead and see if they are staffed and ready.

It looks like a great place for a wedding reception. Quaint quiet town! The reception area is large and the depot is fantastic Just found out that a band plays here every Thursday. I bet this place will be hopping. Seriously, I wish we were sticking around longer- ordered the bean soup - husband says it's hot and good. Salmon sandwiches and steak burger. Side options are chips or applesauce. The food smells great while we wait. Pop is flat. Beer is cold. Water is wet. Gnat season is in full swing. Food is good. Nothing to ring a bell over but a solid dinner while traveling on 30. Just a mile off the highway!! Would I come back - sure, nothing but miles behind me and more in front of me to make this place a super spot for us to have made a reservation!!!
