Any…read morerestaurant that deviates from the Pizza, Burger, Mexican food triangle this town only focuses on is a good thing. Life is to be savored after all, and the more flavors the better! A place where you can have Indian food is great! It also does have more American food in the menu, for those who do not or have family who want to stick with what they know. My family has eaten a few times from here, taking carry out each time. Ordering is convenient as they both have a website and you can call in. The food is absolutely delicious! My family has eaten the following items: 1) Chicken Tika-Masala: Savory and spicy dish... has the right amount of kick to it: We love it! 2) Chicken Pakora: my personal favorite dish, its an appetizer. It is so good! It's salty, it's crunchy! Yum! 4) Butter Chicken: Families favorite dish. The delicious taste will melt you like butter under a. hot sun. 5) the rice and naan bread are very good. 6) Gulab Jamun. This dessert has just the right amount of sweet components! We should have bought more but will the next time! I could go on, this place is great! And we are very lucky to have this place open up! Highly recommend if you live in Van Wert! Cmon, try something new!

We had a range of appetizers from samosas to padpi chaat. All we tried were delicious. Our entrees ranged from Tikka Masala to Biryani to Curries, the Biryani and Curries came with a choice of meat- adding Garlic Naan bread made the perfect meal. Don't be afraid of the spice - the medium was easy. I'll step it up to spicy next time - but not 'Indian Spicy'. The food is all homemade by the owners and incredible. The service is also from family and impeccable. Anything that we were unfamiliar were clearly explained For anyone who is looking for a change from Van Wert' standard Mexican/Chinese/Beer Barrel options, I highly recommend Lucky's Hot Spice and Rice.

At $9-10 each why not! Blueberry Lemon Drop was good, but the Watermelon was my favorite. We also tried the caramel apple and it was good too. For dinner I got the pork tenderloin sandwich with onion rings. Both were delicious and the server said all were made in house. What I loved about the onion rings was the super thick and crunchy beer batter. We also got some sort or chicken bowl that was a lot of food. Came with chips. That's not my particular thing but the person who ordered it loved it. They make all their own dressings and believe me when I tell you the spicy ranch is spicy. I loaded my onion ring up with that ranch and I thought I was going to pass out it was so hot. I still ate it just not as much at one of time. They have plenty of seating at the bar or tables inside and a few outside tables by the street where we saw people take advantage of the nice weather and brought their dogs. They have a small stage where they have live performances, I think someone was coming last night we were just there too early. They have pull tabs for those who are gamblers. The place was really clean and staff were friendly yet busy. Parking can be tricky so be prepared to walk some during peak times.

We were lucky to catch some live music too! They have a great been selection and incredible cocktails too. My favorite is the Spicy Jalapeño Mule!! I also highly recommend the Loaded Waffle Fries and the Asian Zing wings!! Delicious! Our server was really sweet and great too! Good times!

Before the plates even hit the…read moretables, that rich, unmistakable aroma filled the air, the kind of comforting smell that only comes from a true scratch kitchen where real chefs handle real ingredients with absolute respect. I watched as people took their first bites. Forkfuls paused mid-air, conversations instantly ground to a halt, and eyes widened across every table. Jake Burgess and the crew from the Burgess Restaurant Group weren't just catering an event; they were executing a masterclass in craft for a crowd without taking a single shortcut. "You have got to try this," someone blurted out to my left, leaning across the table before even finishing their bite. "I'm tellin' you, Jake and his team don't miss," another replied. "Between FoxGardin, The Den, Bonge's, Carnegie's... it doesn't matter which spot it is, they nail it every single time." Taking it all in, it hit me why they stand so far apart. In a world full of safe, forgettable catering, Jake and the Burgess Restaurant Group served up the kind of deep, craveable food that ruins standard dining for the rest of us. It's the kind of cooking that makes you immediately start planning your next trip to one of their spots before you've even finished the meal in front of you. A massive, heartfelt shoutout to Jake Burgess and the entire Burgess Restaurant Group: FoxGardin Kitchen & Ale, FoxGardin Family Kitchen, The Den, Smoky's Concession Stand, Bonge's Tavern, and Carnegie's. Thank you for keeping us exceptionally well-fed last night!

Was in the area and decided to grab lunch as we often do when in a different locale…read more Noticed FoxGardin had great reviews and was very close by. We weren't going to get an appetizer but the bone marrow fries looked so good in pictures that we had to try them. They did not disappoint. Very large serving and extremely flavorful. Easily an appetizer for 4 or more people (there was only 2 of us so we brought some home). My dining partner is not normally a fries person and she loved these. For entree, my dining partner had today's special which was a shredded chicken sandwich that had a jalapeño cheese sauce and the house chips. She said it was very good and again half the sandwich came home. I had their breaded tenderloin which was very good, with nice breading to meat ratio and was a bit larger than the bun. It came with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles. It came ala carte with no sides. Service was excellent, exceptionally friendly and really took care of us. One of the best waiters I've come across. Inside is a bar/pub like feel. We opted to eat in the air condition enclosed "patio" type area which had a bit more light, but was also noisy today due to the tin lined walls/ceiling and another group that was quite loud. Made it a bit hard to converse. Normally don't think this would be an issue. While not tons of items on the menu, the selection was quite varied and you could really splurge on a filet or other such dish and really go all in for a more lavish dinner or have a burger or tenderloin, all at any time of day. Parking was right in front of the restaurant but could see it being a bit tight on a busy day.
