They were very professional and friendly, explaining and answering all my questions. This earned them my confidence and recommendation.

I will confess my rating is biased based on the emergency service IRC was able to provide on a Sunday morning. On this occasion the team was on call and got me in quickly. They were very professional and kind as they confirmed my eye infection. This was an abnormal office visit as it was just Dr. Kim and our family. He methodically and expeditiously worked us through the enrollment process - not his gig I'm sure. Dr. Kim was excellent about explaining what was happening and what was coming next. He had to inflict some pain on me but was very gentle and encouraging as we got through a tough situation together. Dr. Kim was great about setting up the next all important appointment on our schedule. Our follow up with Dr. Kim was just as encouraging. He was very kind and helpful and encouraging. I don't know how the rest of the doctors in this practice are...Dr. Kim was outstanding. As a review on the rest of the center. You will find IRC in an isolated building set back off the road. The sign is easy to see. Making a U-turn if you are going east bound is a challenge. Otherwise not too difficult to find. There is plenty of parking near the entrance. The lobby is large and comfortable. The whole facility has a bit of a dated feel though it has nice wooden floors and trim. The staff here was very friendly for the first visit. The were helpful getting paperwork done and setting up the next visit. I honestly don't know all the types of services they offer. In my case...the first two visits have been excellent! read more

Vision Source in Auburn sent my referral to this facility on Jan 16 with the promise that Dr Gendy's staff would call me in "a day or two" to schedule an appt to be seen by Dr Gendy. Today is Jan 27 and I STILL have NOT received a call from Dr Gendy or his staff. I have made repeated calls to Vision Source & every time they have assured me they have or will re-fax my referral. If this is the kind of "care" Dr Gendy gives his patients, I wouldn't go to him if he was the last Dr on earth! Nor would I ever refer him or his office to anyone else! This place is a joke. They triple book appointments pack elderly patients into the waiting room like sardines. Then make them wait 2-3 hrs for an appointment that lasts 10 minutes. The facility is dirty, outdated and it is unacceptable to treat patients who have no other options with such disregard. read more

If your scheduling surgery be prepared to wait 1 day before to know the time of the surgery..it does not matter how far your traveling to get there and any obligations you must immediately cancel or if you work.. Be prepared to have a lobby with every sick, coughing human in Fort Wayne sitting like sardines next to you...the bathroom in the lobby, do not use as it's absolutely disgusting and filthy..the wait is ridiculous for the few minutes being seen.. the doctor changed our standing post OP time without notification to us prior. We booked a hotel even for our 9 am appointment which is "non refundable" to get to pre OP time and home in 2 hours so I could get to my job ..now before being wheeled into surgery Dr.Kim changed the time to 10:20..I'll never make it to my bus trip I'm driving with that time and 2 hr drive home and already took the day off today because of late notification of sugery time..I'm very discussed and want to warn everyone. Wear a mask, bring hand sanitizer and know from others experience what your dealing with here. read more

I had a detached retina and retinal tears. I met Dr Gendy for the first time in pre-op prior to him doing surgery to repair my detached retina. At one of my later office visits he also lasered several tears in my opposite eye. I highly recommend Dr Gendy. He's a fantastic Dr/surgeon in every way. read more
