I had an issue with my home's heat pump system not cooling. I have never had Indianola Mechanical do any service before, but I called them because of their proximity to my home, their lengthy years of business, and they're high rating on Google. I liked how quickly they responded to my inquiry. Their Service Advisor Will was able to come the next morning. He was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. He answered my many questions and explained everything he was doing and what was wrong with my system, and what needed to be done. He was also able to provide me with estimates for a few different courses of action. The repairs are not cheap, but I think they are fair and competitive. Most of the time you're making a call to a business like this, it's not exactly a happy day at the house. It's not an expense you had planned on and things you need working aren't working. That said, it's good to know ahead of time who you want to call and good to know what service you can expect. I've called Indianola mechanical several times over the last several years and had positive experiences on all of them including big stuff like AC replacement and sewage lines out to the city, and small stuff like new shutoff valves for washing machine or snaking out a clogged drain. They tell you when they are coming, they walk you through the diagnosis, and they stand by the quality of their work. Furnace gave out in the middle of winter and they were there to help and every way they could. They even loaned us space heaters over night until the they could replace the furnace.
