Their team was really nice and helpful, sharing details about some of the scents I was interested in. Bon jour! You have truly entered a French market, when you walk through the doors of Marcel Market! There are fresh crackers, candies, cookies and jams. There are French pictures to buy for your walls. There is a whole section of the store devoted to specialty clothing. Some of the items were just beautiful. I fell in love with a small travel cosmetics size case, but it was $60 and I didn't buy it. So, prices are on the higher side. But you have to remember everything is imported and you are paying a premium for these goods. I thought some of the food products were on the more reasonable price range. It was definitely a store filled with eye candy. Service was great and they were so helpful and attentive to your needs. My son bought a few items and he was very happy with them. I was happy to see that Brandy B. has snapped a photo of the clothing on display in the back of this delightful new French import store in Bishop Arts District. I was nearly done in after an after dinner walk, when Marcel Market popped up. I felt renewed by its sqeaky clean appearance and faint new paint smell. Even more infectious was the enthusiasm of the young French woman keeping me informed. I took a few photos up front and then got totally absorbed in the inventory and took no more. This is the perfect store to purchase something unique for yourself, a gift for anyone else or to build a gift basket for any occasion. I loved this store. Foodstuffs, housewares, unusual candles, jewelry, shoes, clothing and macaroons! The jars of spreads and preserves were moderately priced and sounded delicious. I wanted to list the business and get this interesting Market out to you, Yelpers! It's a lovely place and I hope to return soon. Really enjoyed browsing this local boutique. They import all their items from France so it feels like you're on a small vacation! I picked up a very nice quality jacket. Prices are reasonable and the store is very well organized. The shopkeepers were very nice! read more

I've never been to France but I'd imagine it would be as beautiful as this store. It's bright and spotless. Everything is in perfect order from the moment you walk in. There is a small market upon the Bishop entrance with food and beautiful macaroons on cake stands. In the middle of the store is beauty products. Most, if not all, are clean and smell divine. There is also jewelry, hair accessories and journals. Towards the back of the store, there is clothing and handbags. Some of the pieces were a little pricey but absolutely beautiful and legit. Definitely Parisian chic. We were greeted and assisted by a lady with a French accent who was so nice and welcoming. She was very friendly and had a huge smile, which made our visit that much more enjoyable. We will definitely be back for some one of a kind treats! read more

We LOVE Marcel Market! It's such a unique and lovely boutique in Bishop Arts. The owners are wonderful and always super friendly. Being from Belgium, it's great to come here and find things that I haven't had/seen in so many years. Their assortment of food is plenty and they are competitively priced as well. My wife loves the clothing section, we tend to go about once a month and there are always new styles on the rack. I would highly recommend this if you are strolling around Bishop Arts and would like to try some French goodies. read more

Oh my gosh, how am I just now finding this place? I love all things French and this is the nicest little market. The macarons are absolutely divine. The clothes and jewelry are just beautiful. I bought a little magnet to add to my random French collection. The owners were incredibly sweet and welcoming! I was walking around the neighborhood checking out the new spots. This was one of them! Very modern-chic & fresh! It has a hip feel. Gregory and Anna Lee are so friendly and dear. I suggested they open a locale in my city...the France of The South...New Orleans! I purchased a Basil Dijon that will go perfect with Chilean Sea Bass, Sole, Shrimp, or Salmon...some olive oil seared purple potatoes...can't wait to try it! This is a lovely addition to Bishop Arts. This store is so cute! I got some super adorable hair clips and they also had super delish French macarons. I had the strawberry champagne macaron and the lemon poppyseed macaron and both were so good! There was also an assortment of French snacks, teas, and clothing.
