A friend recommended this shop. I called late on a Wednesday and Juan, the owner, said he could have a new windshield for my car by 9:30 the next morning, and install time would be an hour. I showed up at 9:25 and Juan's assistant immediately took my car into the shop. 20 minutes later my car was all done! These guys were great! They told me a time to order by for same day delivery of my windshield. They actually got it early and the actual replacement was only 30 minutes. My hubby brought my car in to this place last week after my windshield was broken. We called lots of places and this was the cheapest. They didn't have the "right windshield" so they told him they had to order it... Understandable, they scheduled him for 9 am the next morning, and the window was not there (should of been our first clue). They rescheduled for noon, my hubby got there they replaced the window, quickly and pain free (at least we thought). Than unfortunately it happened again in the same week.. We called them about a warranty or any help they could offer.. They were totally rude! "Not our problem, it was another window, another crack, you have to pay for it" So since it wasn't as bad we went to elsewhere for the repair, it was there that we come to find out that Indio Auto Glass installed the wrong window, and they broke our cover behind the rearview mirror. So what happened to the window we were "waiting" for, or the one that was "ordered"? When we went back and asked the men there were completely rude and said "we were only bitching because we had another crack" and "if it wasn't cracked we would've thought about helping you, but since it is it's not our problem". On top of that what business does not give you a receipt? We went back to request a proof of purchase... What is your "warranty policy" exactly? Does it include rudeness and attitude or did I pay extra for that? Oh and don't even bother asking for anyone's name cause that is like pulling teeth... My friends cannot believe I got my windshield replaced in one hour and for the price that I paid. Since this was the first time in my 49 years of driving that I got a cracked windshield--and just from from a small pebble, I had no idea that my car with less than 8000 miles would not be covered under warranty because this was considered breakage caused by "impact".
