My neighbor's car was broken into during the Coronavirus virus stay-at-home period. The thief shattered the rear passenger window, and broken glass lay everywhere inside and around the car. I used Yelp's "request a quote" feature for the repair, and I selected the "mobile services" category, because brick-and-mortar repair shops were closed during the Coronavirus period. I messaged details about the car to three local 5-star-rated auto glass replacement shops. Within a few minutes, I received quotes of $185, $155 and $145. I selected Done Rite Auto Glass, because Mary, the manager, messaged me within 8 minutes with a $155 quote. Although hers was not the lowest, her detailed quote included the facts that she had the exact window in stock and had an installer who could arrive at my location within an hour. I used Yelp's message to convey my acceptance and provide my contact info. Within the hour, the installer called and informed me that he was outside, waiting next to the car. Done Rite's repair van was new and clean, and it contained the needed equipment and supplies. The installer, Santiago, wore the OB face mask (required during this coronavirus period). Santiago is amiable and professional, and he worked quickly to vacuum all the broken glass from the car's interior, including under and between the seats, inside the door panel, as well as under and around the car. Then for 15 or 20 minutes, he installed the new window, aligned it perfectly, connected it for power, and tested to ensure it opened and closed flawlessly. At Santiago's request, I inspected the car and tested the power windows (all of them, just in case). I rarely award 5 Stars, but Done Rite Auto Glass earned the top rating in every respect, including communication, professionalism and pricing. I had these people come out to replace the windshield on my Mercedes Benz E350. At first glance, everything "looked" good. BUT that wasn't the case. After I paid, I turned on my car to back-up in the garage and saw that my windshield wipers were not working properly. I told him and he tried to act like he couldn't understand English (typical), saying they were broke before and he never touched them. LIES LIES LIES!! I watched him take them off from inside my house on my ADT security camera that is positioned about my garage door. After going back and forth with him, he only got them to go to the high speed, not my low or medium speeds. I requested for the owner's information and him and the lady that was with him said "he not out here." Oh really?!? Where is he? MEXICO?!?? Total bullshit. They always trying to evade responsibility. This company is exactly what President Trump is talking about. Folks fucking up people shit and not being accountable for the problem they cause. They think they can just hide and slip through the cracks after fucking up my windshield wipers. Not with me they not! My lawyer is on it...and the business is going to answer for it.
