Don't recommend this service. I called and schedule an appointment on next week (8:30) I have pretty tight work schedule, so it is hard to me to find time in work day for my personal things, but any way I found time. I came at 8:30 and service was closed. I called to service but nobody respond me. There was also another guy who was waiting and also had an appointment. After half an hour waiting, that guy said that service respond to him and said that service will be opened at 12 pm and he should drop keys in mail box hole. WHAT? For me service continuously not responding. That whole situation was weird and I decided go home. Service did not respond whole day and days after. TLDR. Horrible service, I spent my work time, which for me hard to find and nobody even respond to me. No respect to customers, just don't spend a time. read more

Updated Address: 83368 California 111 Ste. 3 Indio, CA Super fast diagnostic and repair. I arrived 10 mins after our phone call and Efrain got my check engine light diagnosed. The light had just turned on and it was around 3 pm on a Thursday. I typically drive 300+ miles a week and had driven over 1300 miles that week. All the other mechanics were "too busy" and refused to give me a quote on the phone. I got a real quote within 10 mins of arriving for a 1:30hr change of all 6 spark plugs the day of. Amazing! This place was super helpful in a tight spot! My wife (who's in the the military) and I were en route from San Diego to Colorado when she hit a large dip at an intersection in Indio. About a half hour later the coolant light came on and we were stranded on the I-10. It was about 3pm on a Saturday and most auto repair places were already closed or would be closed by the time our tow truck made it. I was able to find Indio Automotive after a quick Google search. When we arrived the owner was getting ready to close shop, however he decided to do a quick inspection of our '04 VW Jetta. One of the coolant hoses had been severed, likely by the intersection dip. He was able to repair the broken piece at a great price and we were back on the road within an hour of arriving to the shop. This place saved our road trip! read more

This place is a true gem in the middle of the desert! Seriously, if you have to break down, do it in Indio and let Efraim take care of you. I wish I lived closer so that I could take all my vehicles there! My son's Ford Focus had a major transmission failure (no surprise there, if you know about the Focus). He was able to limp it to Indio where I could meet him. The guys at Indio Auto took a look first thing the next morning, and quickly got in touch. Their quote was very reasonable, but it was more than I thought we should put into a car with a long history. I was ready to have it towed away from there, but asked if they knew anyone who might be interested in buying it for parts. They found me a buyer, helped negotiate the deal, and made sure that everything was A-OK after we made the transaction. I would highly suggest talking your car somewhere else. I had my AC checked and "Serviced" in results bad AC pump so, they said. What they actually did was pump hot air into my into my lines/condenser how I found out is, the next day the ac kicked in a few times and actually worked for a few days. I eventually took it to another mechanic and what he confirmed that only air was blown into the system so yeah, go figure. read more

I knew nothing about them, convenience and coincidence brought me to my new friends. My car with me in it were back on the road in 30 minutes. It wouldn't serve th8s review a real good to say that there was zero charge at all, it just would not sound believable but its the truth. I was given this blessing with a very casual request/condition: write a yelp review. I thought of what to say and just opted to go with the 100% true story.
