Took my Subaru for tire rotation because I was checking brakes at home had about 5 lug nuts louse one missing one stud was messed up threads I took it in to get the rotation the kid said no info it was done there so I went ahead with the rotation brought it home checked lug nuts changed the messed up stud found another messed up stud had to change that and lug nuts changed and made sure all lug nuts were on tight I'm just one customer that has been faithful just bought a new ford ranger it will need tires soon but going to Costco for those tires sorry read more

I took my X5 BMW for an oil change and one of my friends noticed that the car was leaking oil. The reason he noticed is because he was checking the air in my tires (which is what this place was supposed to do and it was included in the service) they never checked the tires, and the car was leaking lots of oil. I took it back the next day, I spent 4 1/2 hours sitting there until they finished and kept giving me bogus excuses why it was taking so long. I took the car back and then started smelling like something was burning!!! They are the worse people in the planet !!! Do not go there !!!! read more

I had recently purchased a used vehicle and when I picked it up at Auto Haus around the corner from this store the mechanic let me know there was a nail in my back tire and suggested I pull into this store. They not only found the nail but discovered 3 lug nuts that had been inserted at an angle by a shop wherever this previous owner had his after market rims mounted. The nuts literally fell off when the technician applied the air wrench. The manager came out and told me that I was driving a ticking time bomb. They didn't have the proper tools to deal with the repairs so they were kind enough to store the vehicle in the shop overnight, it was 5pm when I pulled in there. The next morning they took it to the mechanics next door and made sure they started on the repair as soon as possible. So these gentlemen literally saved me and anybody else I may have crashed into when the wheel fell off some real damage and injures. May hat is off to them and I am so very grateful for their kindness. Oh, and I bought some amazing tires at a fair price that they did a splendid job mounting. read more

Even though I purchased my tires from my mechanic, My own mechanic could not repair a tire of mine that had a nail in it so I took it to this America's tire location. Not only did they pull the nail out and patch the tire, but they did it at no charge. When it's time for new tires, I will definitely be back to America's tire in Indio. Had all 4 tires replaced on Dec. 27, 2025. Returned to the shop on Jan. 10, 2026, due to 2 of the 4 valve stems not being replaced and a rattling sound coming from the driver's side front tire. They replaced the 2 old valve stems with new and I assume they tightened the front tire because the rattle is gone. Additionally, my wheels were cosmetically damaged with the tool used to remove the tire. Very disappointing. read more

Front left tire was losing air so dropped into America's Tire for a fix. Jarrel took a look at tire and said they would take it apart to see what was wrong. Given an estimated time of 1 1/2 hours so I decided to wait. The customers and their interactions with the reps is pretty entertaining. I also did the NYT crossword on my phone to pass the time. After about an hour my car was ready. Bad valve....no charge for replacement and resetting sensor. Highly recommended. read more

Larry's customer service was Awesome he was very helpful and explained everything to me from start to finish , which I really appreciated because being a girl in a tire shop can be a little intimidating. I just had a sub par performance at America's Tire in Indio. I like going sub par on the golf course but America's Tire did NOT meet my expectations today. How hard can it be to check the Tire pressure when doing a rotation? When the customer tells you up front that they NEVER get it right, and that the front/back tires have different pressures, you'd double check wouldn't you? Apparently not. Are they not able to do that in the tire bay or are they just lazy? If you're wondering, I circled around to go in line for a tire pressure check but it was too long. I also phoned and expressed my disappointment. I guess next time, when I get the keys I'll have them sit in the car with me as we check things out. I shouldn't need to do that but I'm not sure what else I can do? read more

Very bad customer service today from Andy! My husband bought two batteries from Costco from Palm desert store. Got them home and charged. At 4:00 pm that same day he said they didn't work and they said to bring back. He proceeded to bring them back in and trade for new ones that worked. They didn't have them in stock but said to go out to laquinta store in early morning. Brought into store with receipt and Andy took one look at them and said"they don't have warranty sticker on them so I can't return. " he also said very rudely to take back to store in palm desert and we told him they don't have them in stock, that's why we're here. He argued and said they said they have 3 according to computer yesterday at 4:00 pm. So we left and took the two heavy batteries out to car and I saw the two warranty stickers on them. Obviously the guy just glanced at them and didn't bother to turn them 1/4 around where the stickers were in plain site. Then he didn't apologize for the inconvenience and then said that will be $2.56 for another tax. We had already paid the tax not even 24 hours . He said, different day so there is a day tax. If Costco is that cheap and can't wipe that $2,56 tax away we will never go to that store again. I've never heard when your exchanging something you get a daily tax, especially when batteries didn't work. They sold us non-working batteries. Andy shouldn't be in customer service and push people away. I will never ever do business with that Costco. The treatment was no customer service. read more

Larry, the store manager has a great attitude and the utmost in patience when dealing with customers. Explains EVERYTHING well and in detail. Now, if he can just teach the crew to be as responsive, respectful, and friendly then they would receive 5 stars. If he wasn't there, I would have given 1or 2 stars based on my previous experiences and my observations while waiting today. I've never been to America's Tire, but when my AAA tech showed up to put my spare on, he told me America's Tire works with AAA. I called this location & spoke with Luis, who was so kind on the phone. He told me to bring my tire in & they would fix it for free! I then worked with Jonathan who was also very nice. He said they'd look at the tire & see if it was fixable. A mechanic then came out & told me they could fix the tire & it would be ready shortly. From the time I walked in the door, to the mechanic's update, 15 minutes!!! My tire had an air leak and I wanted to have my tires rotated and have the tire pressure sensors checked. I decided to go to Costco, where I bought them to have them checked out. They told to that they were busy and to come back at 10:00 am when they open. I didn't want to have to return to Costco and decided to go to America's Tire instead. I explained to the service representative what I needed done. He said that it should take about an hour for them to look at it. After less than an hour they returned saying that my tire had a screw in it which they removed. They also rotated the tires and checked the pressure sensors. Not only did they fix my tires, they didn't charge me anything! I couldn't have asked for anything more. They really care about their customers and provide excellent service. Customer service at the desk was good I've been going to Americas tire for over 20 years but the gentleman who installed my tires was very rude. I asked him to install the lug nuts that i brought in that match with my tires and he insisted to put one of the old ones that didn't match match. When I told him that I needed all to look the same he mumbled something to me and walked away. He came back to me and said everything was done, as I proceeded to drive away I got off my truck and saw that all my tires were missing lug nut. I was so mad and frustrated that they would do that. I had to go back and ask him what had happened and as before he just mumbled something that I could not understand. I had a frustrating experience with America's Tire in Indio regarding tire pressure sensors (TPMS) for my fiancé's car. We originally paid for aftermarket sensors and labor, expecting them to work properly. However, the sensors malfunctioned shortly after installation--the dashboard warning light came back on, and the tire pressures couldn't be read. After several visits back and forth, America's Tire told us to buy original sensors from the GMC dealer. We purchased the original parts from GMC, expecting America's Tire to install them for free since the aftermarket sensors they installed didn't work. However, America's Tire installed the new sensors but then refunded us only for the faulty sensors, deducting the labor cost from the refund. So we paid for labor twice! I believe if a shop installs parts that don't work, they should cover the labor to fix the issue--especially when the customer has to go out of their way to buy new parts. This experience was inconvenient, costly, and disappointing. That said, I will still use America's Tire for tires because they have many locations and good insurance options. Just be cautious about upselling and don't expect flawless service on anything beyond tire installation. Summary: America's Tire is fine for tires, but for TPMS or more technical services, consider going elsewhere. read more

I went in due to having a piece of metal in my tire. The tow truck driver who changed it said it could most likely be repaired based on what he could see. When I took it to America's Tire they immediately said I had to replace it. Which was fine... better to be safe. Then the kid went around and tested all my tires with some hand held device that he ran over all the tires. He tried to tell me I needed to replace my other rear tire as well. I've only had those tires not even a year! I declined and said to only replace the one. Well low and behold now I have a very slow leak on that tire he recommended I change. No issues before I took it in! I have a feeling they did something to it so I'd have to bring it back. I hate that places try to take advantage of a single woman. read more
