I told them that the wheel was missing and needed a wheel dolly to load the car. The "dispatcher" said that he would put a wheel skate to prevent any further damage. Okay so no problem, right? Wrong!! The car showed up at the automotive shop I work at with the front bumper ripped off and no wheel dolly on the car. The driver needed HELP with unloading the car. So I grabbed a floor jack to help him. What a joke. I will probably drop my insurance only because they use this terrible towing company. The best part is I reached out to the company to simply discuss the issue and no one will talk to me about it. The owner has my number and refused to talk to me. We set and appointment for Tuesday (my one day off during the week) so I could come in, have it looked at on the rack and we could make a decision as to what we wanted to do. I got there on Tuesday and was treated as though I had interrupted their break time. All 6 employees where sitting at a table eating an early lunch. I explained that I had an appointment to have my car looked at, and they acted like they didn't know what I was talking about. I sat down at their table and wrote out a list of things that I needed to have looked at. As an educated consumer I was prepared to talk about the issues my car was facing and had an idea of what kind of costs it would incur. This did not matter to them, I was posed with questions such as "What Mexican convinced you to buy that car off of their lot?" and "What possessed you to want a Landrover?" I was shocked, there was little talk of business and instead they were questioning why I owned my car at all. I was then told that I could bring the car in a few days later and that they could look at it then. No thank you. I will not be returning to Weymouth regardless of their reputation as a outstanding import independant mechanic.
