What a joke. I've been coming here to do my eyebrows for years (which is their saving grace) and was short on time - so I asked to take off my shellac and get a manicure with no polish. The "aestheticians" took out disposable foam files and buffers. My thought was - what is going on here? $20 manicure + $10 shellac take off later this is how my nails looked. It is atrocious. I feel shameful on their behalf about the lack of skills in doing manicures and other nail services. At the end, they offered to buff my nails some more but the damage was done. Sometimes you just have to close a chapter in your life and I can say, I'm ready to move onto better. read more

Worst experience ever, i rate it Zero/5 , ruined my hair, charged way more than I have been told when I booked the appointment.. you should be careful dealing with this place .. when I asked about the cost for the service i want to do they told me we are not supposed to say the price before you come which is so weird then they started to speak in their language and I asked again I want to know before coming then they told me low price and the day i came for the service they charged me 3 times more what i have been told plus that they ruined my hair. Just had an Indian head massage with a special scalp treatment done by RIKU! I hope I have spelled her name right! She also did my eyebrows. She took her time during the head massage, had lots of knowledge, was not rushed and very welcoming. Shes also a perfectionist with brows! Lol wouldn't stop until I was 100% pleased, and they look amazing! The rates are incredibly reasonable and the staff is so nice!!! I'm from Halifax Ns and drove out here for 30 min from my hotel because I read YELP reviews, and trust me people it is what it is!!!! Everything about this place is awesome . Near the north east edge of Albion and islington is this salon that does hair and aesthetics. They have a separate room in the back with about 5 beds side by side.. Just for threading. They wave you to follow them to the back.. You tell them what you want.. They grab the thread with their hands and mouth.. Sometimes they ask you to help by using your hands to stretch the skin.. And within a few minutes your brows are groomed and only for $4. What a deal. Definitely coming back and def recommend to anyone in the area. And you don't need an appt... I checked yelp for a good pedicure place and this establishment came up. I Was in the area and decided to go check it out. Unfortunately, I am devoted to a place that i already had an appointment for a pedicure with but i decided to go in and get my eye brows threaded. I was greeted by lovely ladies and I Escorted to the back for my threading. It was an amazing experience and I really loved the way she did my brows. This is my new place. I had the worst possible eyebrow threading experience here. The lady cut into my skin with the thread and tried to dab it away by pressing very hard on top of my eyelid. I had to tell her to stop twice before she listened to me. Then she put on cream without even asking me if I was allergic to it or not. I realized she had cut me when she was done and I could finally look into the mirror. The cream she put has made the cuts burn even more. I will never go back to this place and would not recommend it to anyone. read more

Was here with my sister for the past 2 years, just had a really bad experience on the phone with the girls who picked up the phone. I wanted to make appointment for threading and they said we need to pay 10 dollars extra if we make appointment which is 17 dollars. Then I right away said we never knew we had to pay extra for appointment and 17 dollars for threading that's ridiculous then the girl just said we always charge 10 dollars extra for appointment then she hung up the phone on me which I'm so angry what kind of customer service is this? I'm not going back again and will not recommend anyone to go there. There's lots of good threading places for cheaper and great service. read more

I didn't actually think it was going to be $3... But it was! My morning coffee costs more, and I don't leave starbuck's with perfectly arched eyebrows like I did leaving this salon. The salon is clean and the staff was friendly and nice. I will definitely return for my biweekly eyebrow threading, even if it does take me 30mins to drive here. I was looking for a salon to get a quick eyebrow threading and pedicure on my way to the airport, and happened upon Indo on Albion Road. Sonu did both my eyebrows and my feet and did a FANTASTIC job! She was extremely skilled, warm, friendly and professional, and I left with gorgeous, relaxed feet and perfect brows. *******AVOID THIS PLACE!!!******* I wish i could give this place 0 stars but unfortunately i can't. among other horrible things that will make such a longggg review the last appointment with them and the conversation on the phone that followed were the reason that Im finally writing this review. went there last week for a head massage as a treat from my mum because i had a bad migraine. we went in and we got into separate rooms. the girl that gave me the massage said she would work on my shoulders since that might be one of the reasons. So she started the massage but i knew something was not right. the pain was crazy! i am a regular at having body massage and had one done 3 weeks prior (in another place) and knew that, that was not the way to work on a muscle. Another bad thing was that she had long nails and that was not pleasant at all. Sure enough it's been 1 week and I have such a bad pain shooting down my left arm that i can't even hold my baby. So i called them today and spoke with the "manager". I asked her if the person who gave me the massage was a registered massage therapist and she said NO!!! i couldn't believe it! When i was having my massage I asked the girl and she said that she had studied for it and she was a registered massage therapist! So the "manager" after being rude with her responses she offered to give me a refund which will not help me fix this sore muscle! read more

I've been here several times now for eyebrow and upper lip threading. The last couple of times have been very rushed and the person didn't even offer me cream to sooth the redness/prevent irritation afterwards. I had to personally ask for it and they made it seem as if it was a hassle. At my most recent visit, I wasn't even offered a tissue for tears or to clean the millions of hairs that were all over my face. The person doing it also was rushing and ended up leaving several red spots, and a particularly large one beside my lip where the skin ripped off, since she did it so fast and carelessly. Don't go to this salon!! They are all racist and will discriminate you if you are not Muslim. They refuse to serve anyone who isn't Muslim and will kick you out if you are affiliated with any other religion. I was looking all over the place to find a place that did both eyebrow threading and henna's, most places downtown are rude and costly, but I had no idea such a wonderful place was so close to my home! I had my eyebrows done for $4 very quickly and well done. And for $20 I had a traditional menhdi henna done on my right hand. The staff are very friendly here. It's a bit of a drive for me, but I didn't mind the drive to get my eyebrows threaded here. Why you may ask?? Because did a great job and they are friendly!!!:) I was tired of going to salons in my neighbourhood just for other salons to screw up the shape. One salon, '99 nails,' kept giving me uneven brows where one Brow would always be longer than the other or there would be bald patches in some places. Like seriously- what the hell?!?! I came here 2 years ago in the month of October to get Henna done for my cousin's engagement. I searched for a good Henna place and it showed me this one so I decided to trust it. Biggest mistake ever!! It's been 2 years now and I still have the burnt scars of Henna on my hands. They still haven't gone completely. The moment they applied it on my hands, it had a very strong scent. I didn't think of this earlier but after about half an hour, I started having a burning sensation on both my hands. I quickly removed it and applied oil to calm it down. My hands turned red and I still kept feeling uneasy. It looked like a normal henna but with a very strong scent and a burning sensation. It felt normal after washing my hands with cold water. My relatives and cousins got it done from somewhere else and after few days, everyone's henna started coming off and so did mine. That was the first time it actually struck me that the henna had burnt my hands. Even though it started peeling off, the scars were still there on my skin. It clearly was not a natural henna used by this place. They had put a lot of harmful chemicals to darken their henna stains. The rest of the people around me had their hennas on for few hours before they washed their hands and I only had it on for 30-40 minutes. Mine looked way darker than theirs and it smelled too strong too. It was a very horrible experience. I would recommend everyone to do their research before going to this place and not just get carried away by the 'positive' reviews that they have on their web. read more

I came here because I saw it had good reviews. I recently went elsewhere and got my eyebrows done and loved the shape and just needed a quick clean up of them. I like a really full look and to keep my natural shape and I explicitly told her that I want it full just a LITTLE clean up and emphasized little. She did what she wanted and didn't even take me along to see the process by showing me with a mirror and asking if I like it along the way. At the end I nearly cried. She made it so thin and they were uneven. She said I didn't have to pay and offered to make it even but I just paid and left. It's not that big of a deal I guess since it will grown back but wow I hate how it looks. She was apologetic after arguing that it wasn't thin at first but I will just leave my brows along from now on for sure! read more

Went for laser hair removal at their Airport location in Brampton, Service was horrible (to say the least) from the front desk to the individual "laser technician." I have burnt marks on my legs for the visit. Poor unprofessional customer service + unprofessional laser "technician!" I was going to this Salon for almost 12 to 13 years. Soman was the first person to touch my eyebrows and hair after her Sonu was my girl, but most my recent visits this place has become a disaster. Every time I go and wait an hour for Sonu, after an hour wait some other girl comes and tells me that Sonu is not available to do eyebrows. SOme other girl did my eyebrows and butchered them.
