So after many months of trying to get here, I was able to FINALLY schedule an appointment for the day after Black Friday. I was especially excited because the spa was running a Black Friday special, which was advertised as $30 off any facial or 80 or 150 minute massage. I had a baby five (5) months ago and was deeply in need of a full body massage; the stress on my neck and lower back were killing me. I tried to schedule online however my registration kept failing so after three tries I called the business number. I spoke to Mecca, one of the co-owners who I know personally, and was scheduled via phone. When I arrived the atmosphere, ambience and professionalism were on point... perfect in fact! There was even a welcome/relax sign waiting for me in the massage room. Afterwards, I felt 100 times better however when I inquired about the spa giving the Black Friday promo price, I received a somewhat confusing answer. Later that day, I inquired through Instagram where I originally saw the Black Friday promo about why I did not receive the $30 off my massage. I was told I did not pay the promo price because I did not mention the promo during the conversation when I booked my appointment. Still confused, I went back to the promo post on the spa's business page on Instagram to see if I overlooked that part. Unfortunately, I saw nothing about mentioning the promo during the time of booking to receive the promo price. As a result, I was highly disappointed. As a new mom and new client, I was really looking forward to treating myself for a reasonable price. Although, I loved everything about my experience, I probably will not return especially since that was my main reason for finally jumping on the opportunity to book a massage. I've been here a handful of times now. Najah is someone who absolutely cares about her business and clients. She remembers me when I call and that makes me happy. I'm very picky and this is hands down one of the best deep tissue massage experiences. My mother is a massage therapist so it's hard to compare to that, but Najah is pretty darn amazing. She has a perfect amount of firm pressure and I walk out of there feeling a thousand times better. I even set up my S/O with a massage when he was hurt! He felt fantastic afterward. The spa is great. I've been looking for a masseuse to be my regular one for a long time. A great masseuse is hard to find, especially in a location that isn't too far, and with decent parking. I finally found a good one in DC but that violated my second requirement. Well, I finally found her! Najah is great. She's so friendly and has great technique. Yes, I've had enough massages in almost 15 years of getting them, to know when people lack technique. The room is pleasant and the music is relaxing. Najah really pays attention to what you say - and what your body tells her. I could tell she found tense areas in my shoulders and she worked hard to relax them. I feel SO great now. I was visiting from California and wanted to find a spa similiar to home and i ran across this slice of heaven. Very professional service, great staff, and even better therapists! I would recommend this spa to travelers and locals alike. Such a huge stress relief as soon as you walk in and hear the soothing music, serene aromatherapy, and general ambiance. Was looking for a new place in my area. Really great place with perfect ambience. Sheets are so soft! Massage was excellent! Already booked my next appointment. There's a church next door. Sunday's they get a little exuberant with the drums, but I was completely able too tune it out, relax and begin snoring quickly into my session. I completely plan on becoming a regular. I booked a last minute appointment for my husband and I and Mecca (spa director) was able to work us in the same day for a couple massage. We arrived to a sleek and inviting establishment. Our names were illuminated upon entering our spa area, which I thought was a nice personal touch. Najah and Torerro performed our 50min massages. They were AMAZING, pleasant, courteous, intuitive, professional, just awesome! Mecca was also, definitely don't want to leave her out. Overall, my husband and I had an INCREDIBLE experience! Just what I needed. I went in for a prenatal massage today at 33 weeks pregnant. This was my first prenatal massage. The front desk was awesome. Najah spoke with me before my massage and did a great job. My focus was relaxation, and she did just that. This establishment is absolutely amazing. I usually go to Galleria for my monthly self-care (I.e. massages,facials) but wanted to try somewhere new. I was excited when I found this spot online, located right in White Plains. I live in Waldorf but spent majority of my time in DC; however, on my down days I prefer to stay in my home area. The lobby was bright and full of natural lighting, apparently they had just opened up in July. After I filled out my paperwork I was escorted in to a waiting room. The room was dark with artificial lighting and cozy chairs. Diana, my therapist came and brought me back to the room where would be doing the massage. As I walked in, I was tickled by the custom greeting sign, "Let's Relax U Courtney." I felt so special and it wasn't even my birthday! I was sold right then lol I ended up getting the 80 min Deep Tissue Massage, I expressed that I teach about six high energy dance cardio classes a week so wanted to have some stretching incorporated. Diana was very knowledgeable and explained that deep stretches are apart of her routine and went on to tell how important they are for your muscles. The massage itself was painful in the sense that the knots were getting worked out but relaxing. I fell asleep and even found myself drooling. Diana was so thorough! I felt amazing and recharged afterwards. I was later excited to find out that this establishment is BLACK owned and even met the owner! I received 10% off because it was my first massage and was provided information for their membership program. $68 a month for any massage of choice, great deal! I highly recommend and I will be signing up for the membership program. This will help keep me accountable for my physical self-care upkeep and constantly supporting a small black owned business. :) read more

I never knew I was living right next to this amazing spa! This was my first time going and immediately I was welcomed with a huge smile from the owner and my massage therapist Najah. Najah lead me straight back to the tranquil room. Immediately I noticed the place was clean and really relaxing. I was a bit early for my appointment but because I filled out my forms online we began right away. Najah took me to the room and when I walked I was thrilled to see a "Welcome Ashley " ! Najah asked a few questions in reference to my comfort and massage preferences to personalize my massage experience . She made the experience very comfortable and she definitely has a gift with her hands . The massage itself was Absolutely Amazing! She makes other massage companies look terrible . She would periodically check to see if the pressure was to much or to little. Full body massage actually means full body instead of part of the back. She takes great care of you and has an excellent, professional attitude. You get the full time you suppose to get no short cuts. I found my new massage therapist! The 60 minute Sweedish massage was truly special and one of the best I've ever received. I was in desperate need of a good massage due to mild neck and back stiffness. Najaah made the massage special by focusing on my trouble spots and working to ease the tension in these areas. After the massage and other chiropractor services I'm feeling much better. I purchased a groupon for a 60 mins. swedish massage and never got to use it. I called and left several messages over a 2 week period and never got a response back. I tried to book an appointment online and there wasn't anything available for more than a month out. I contacted groupon and told them and they tried to contact the business themselves and I assume had no luck. Groupon refunded my money in groupon bucks which I greatly appreciate. No patron should have to go through this non-sense to try and get a massage whether it's full price or at a discount. That speaks volumes about their customer service. read more

I'm still high from happiness. Today was my first time at Indulging Hands Therapy and it won't be my last. When you enter it's bright and beautiful very inviting, I was greeted by Mecca . I was assisted immediately as I arrived 10 mins early, the energy felt right immediately, I knew I was in for a treat. I decided on the Tension Melter, Hot Stone Massage I wanted to try something new. Najah was my therapist, she smiled, she explained my session to me and we got started. As I was laying there I turned my phone on Do Not Disturb because I wanted to enjoy every moment of my therapy. My body was tired and I needed her indulging hands, all I remember is feeling my body Release the tension I was having. Najah has this way with her hands that puts you to sleep, yes I snored that means she was doing a damn good job. Najah is very UNPROFESSIONAL!! I emailed her in December 2014 because I noticed on her website that all of the appointments were filled. She informed me that she was booked until January. I called and emailed her several times in January and didn't get a response. Her voicemail always came on and she never returned an email. Not even to say that she was extremely busy! Initially, I purchased my massage off of Groupon but in turn had to get a refund. You shouldn't add your business to Groupon or Living Social if you don't have the staff or time to attend to new clients. read more

I went in at 10 wks pregnant for a massage and she said that I was not allowed to lay on my back or stomach. I get massages regularly, every 2 weeks but just moved here and was trying to find the right place and I have always been able to do what I feel comfortable with even at 22 weeks with twins I laid on my back and stomach because I was still barely showing and it didn't affect me and at 10 weeks!! Come on! I had to lay on my side for 45min and the other side for 45 min. With a little head pillow between my legs. Most uncomfortable thing ever! In the past when I was in my 3rd trimester they would prop me up a little and I would have a body pillow I could wrap my body around which is way more comfortable, and then they would always do at least 20 min on my back while they worked my shoulders and neck, even up to 40 weeks pregnant. The massage wasn't the best but not the worst either. I asked for really, really deep tissue in my shoulders and neck and it was deep in my shoulders but she actually never touched my neck which was a first for me and really weird. She was a very nice lady though, but not for me apparently. read more

I found this place, here on yelp, while looking for massage places. I checked out their IG and they were running a new customer special so I decided to check them out. On the day of my appointment someone called me to see if I could come in at 10am instead of 10:30am. That was cool with me since I had been excited to get my massage all week. When I got to the shopping center, I had a hard time finding this place. They didn't have a large store front sign on the front of the store like the other stores in the shopping center so its kinda of easy to miss it. But on my second lap around the parking lot I finally saw it. The establishment is very clean and modern. The waiting room and massage room was very nice. They put a welcome board up with my name on it in the massage room which was a nice touch. I got a deep tissue massage and every kink was worked out.
