We requested the inspection/maintenance report to make sure there were no issues. We were told it would be sent to us later that day, so we could complete the purchase. In multiple calls and texts, we were given numerous different excuses for the delay. After following-up again the next day, we were abruptly told our deposit was being refunded with no explanation. Even more concerning--the car was relisted shortly after at a higher price. That raises serious questions about transparency and integrity. A general manager was supposed to contact us about this situation as they admitted "none of this should have happened." Instead a receptionist offered a $50 gift card in exchange for not posting a negative review--which only added to the frustration. We were ready to buy the car. This fell apart solely due to their poor communication and lack of follow-through. The only bright spot was the kindness of the cashier and front desk staff who helped process the refund. Overall, a very unprofessional experience that completely changed our perception of the Napleton dealership

I worked with Peyton and didn't know exactly what I wanted other than an SUV. He showed me several different SUV's with lower mileage and great prices. I test drove a couple cars and then made my decision. The process was smooth from start to finish. He got my paperwork complete and the car all cleaned up so I could drive her home! If you need a car go ask for Peyton at Enterprise St. Charles and tell him I sent you! Peyton thanks for being helpful, and so professional throughout the process! #nohaggle

Enterprise sold me and my wife a Nissan ARIYA with open Nissan service campaigns and then refused…read moreto stand behind it when I raised the issue. What makes this worse is what the campaigns are actually about. Nissan's own campaign bulletin says that on certain 2023 to 2024 ARIYA vehicles, a failed over-the-air update for the navigation/IVI system can leave the vehicle in a no-start condition, meaning the IGN ON inhibit control is not released and the car may not start. Nissan's remedy is to update the IVI software and, if needed, the CAN gateway software. Enterprise's response? They told me to ask Nissan for a rental car and go to another dealer. So the company that sold me the car wanted someone else to deal with the consequences. That is unacceptable. I understand Nissan classifies these as voluntary service campaigns rather than a safety recall, but that does not change the fact that the issue Nissan describes can leave the vehicle unable to start and needing dealer intervention. What really stands out is that Nissan's campaign bulletin specifically says customers should consult their dealer for alternate transportation availability while the vehicle is being serviced, and it even lists rental expense guidance. Instead of helping, Enterprise pushed me off on Nissan and another dealer. If you buy from Enterprise, verify recalls, campaigns, and service history yourself, because once they have your money, you may find out their idea of customer service is telling you to go somewhere else.

With this in mind, my daughter is thinking of selling her vehicle and we set up an appointment with CarMax. We did the online appointment process and it was so easy. When we arrived a person was expecting us. They asked a few questions, took the keys to have the vehicle looked at, offered us water bottles and offered to show us some vehicles on the lot. We decided to walk the lot by ourselves and then hung out in the waiting area. They have a nice setup with a monitor by the waiting area to show whose vehicle is currently being looked at and what order your vehicle is in. Looking over the vehicle took about 20 mins then they provided an offer. It was lower than my daughter was expecting so she declined. They did let us know the offer is good for 7 days. Overall the experience was easy and seamless. Every employee we came into contact with was friendly and helpful. In my past experiences when I did sell them a car, that process is easy too. You bring your title and all of your key sets. They take your vehicle, cut you a check and it's done. It is really that easy - no gimmicks!

We inquired about the Costco Customer pricing program for a new vehicle. We were told only one particular salesman could discuss Costco pricing with us, so we scheduled an appointment time to meet and go over options. When we arrived, this salesman was trying to squeeze one final sale out of an old lady so we were told to take the car for a test drive for as long as we wanted. After about 20 minutes we finished our test drive and were satisfied with the vehicle. We were ready to buy. The salesman was still with this woman for an additional hour and a half! When it was finally time to talk shop we found out the Costco Pricing did not qualify for the vehicle we wanted. It only applied to the base model. So then the stereo-typical back and forth negotiations began. This included several, "Lemme talk to my Manager" breaks. It was another 2 hours of that nonsense before we finally agreed on a price. Then another 2 hours of selling us on extended warranties and financing. When we finally left it was close to 9pm, the dealership had actually closed for the night. We had no dinner and we were exhausted both physically and mentally. This was 2018 when we bought our new CR-V, still have the car and still love it, but unfortunately are still dealing with the dealership. Just last week my wife scheduled an emissions test at the dealership. She scheduled the appointment for 1pm, when she arrived they told her they hoped to have it done in 3 1/2 hours and should be ready around 4:30. No one contacted us by 4:30 so we decided we would just pick it up the next day. At 5:55pm 5 minutes before close we still hadn't received a call that the emissions was even complete. We called them and they told us the emissions machine went down and they hadn't even performed the test yet, no call, no voicemail. When my wife picked up the car the next day, they gave her a car wash voucher for an independent car wash in St. Peters. P.S. they have a car wash at the dealership. Will never purchase another car from this dealership.
