This is a great place to experience the game of paintball. Whether it is your first time, or you have been playing for years, you will enjoy Indy Battleground. I have been playing at the competitors field for years, and finally decided to give Battleground a try. I was blown away by the customer service, the referee quality, and the speed in which you are able to come off the field and then head back out to begin the next game. The prices are actually very reasonable as well. After playing here only once, this field feels like home. I will absolutely be returning here and giving them all the business that I can. My buddies and I made the mistake of renting the weapons they provide. I expected them to be a bit rough stock weapons but omg I woulda rather had a nerf gun. So after being $95 in the hole I was ready to get this paintball session started! After we split into two teams I start to realize that the other team of 15 had only dudes with competitive jerseys & aftermarket weapons. I took a double take at my team and we had woman, children, and rookies. This ended with most of my team just hanging out in the back while a few guys & myself got shot up pretty good. (At least the pro paintball virgin's got some nice GoPro footage shooting women, children, & myself with my nerf gun) If you've played paintball your whole life and need an ego boost this place is for you! Just bring your jersey, badass gun, & they'll have your shooting women and children in no time! read more

The greatest paintball place ever!!! Took my son here to play his 1st time and we are both hooked. A great staff helping walk him threw a beginners course on the equipment and rules as well as the fields. They have food snacks and more which was very nice as well. This place is under new management and they are amazing! We came with a small party many of whom hadn't paintballs before, they ensured we knew exactly how to play and stay safe. The guns work great and they start you off with plenty of ammo. Their customer service was on point, the owner explained to us how we could get into the sport and the best places to get deals. I have to give a shoutout Luke our referee for coming up great games for us to play! We will be back for more! read more

I took my 12 year old and some of his friends here for his birthday. The staff was friendly to everybody. The gentleman who gave out the equipment was patient with the boys explaining everything for them to understand. Tents are set up with wind movers in them to help keep people cool. I didn't go into the course but the boys told me that they liked the 4 courses they ran through and enjoyed their time there. They liked the games that were played and the refs were fun to be around at the same time. The only draw back they and I found was the use of over powered guns. My kids were using the supplied guns, which worked perfectly. However there were other grown ups out there with them with guns that made it almost impossible to offer any kind competition. The boys stated, at times it was almost no fun to be out there. They wished there was a time where all guns needed to be similar in level. To better level the playing field. The other issue was we not allowed To use the ammo we had before getting there. We were informed when we got there that it was not allowed even though it was not on their website or any of the signs around. Over all we had a goid time and would consider returning. read more

I had a terrible experience with this business today. Im not sure if it was the owner or someone from there staff, but I had called to refill an air tank i had, i call the company twice to verify prices, fill capability and I let the worker know what kind of tank i had. I arrive there and when i step out of the car the guys says "Oh i thought you ment 88ci not 88cu...thats gonna be like 20 bucks man" (instead of the previously agreed upon 5.00 per fill price) I drove 45min to get there so I said okay might as well, so then he fills the tank up to an amount thats not even usable by my equipment (3000psi instead of the agreed upon 4500psi) and says thats the best he can do and that he'd take off 5 dollars from the price hes already gouged me on. So i payed 15.00 for something that I was lied too about, and left pretty frustrated at there lack of being proffesional. I would look elsewhere, even if it is for paintball as I was not very impressed with how unprofessional everything looked. Probably plenty of other paintball places to go in Indy. If you're going to go there to fill a tank, then I would be very careful and just go elsewhere. Thanks, I hope no one else has to go thru this crap like I did. read more

This was a good place to play paintball. A group of us came here after we purchased one of their Groupons online. I wanted to show my coworkers how much fun paintball is and this place was perfect for that. Their prices are similar to most other fields that I've played at. They had a good variety of fields and scenarios to play. The staff were all easy to deal with and the refs were very friendly. A few of the refs were even cool enough to let a few of us play a few airball games instead of doing what all the other people were playing. It was pretty cool of them to do that for us. Other than that, they made sure that everyone remained safe and had a good time. They kept a good eye on the younger kids that were playing alongside us and made sure that they weren't doing anything stupid that could get themselves hurt. Overall, we all had a great time here. I would highly recommend coming here with a group of coworkers, like we did to build teamwork, or for getting your kids out of the house to exercise and burn off energy. Definitely give the sport and this field a try. read more

One of the best paintball fields I have ever been to the players and emoyees are almost always super nice. I go there about every other week to play there open play and I have never seen a more competitive environment that manger to stay child friendly. Great for players of all skill levels. The refs did a great job of running things smoothly and are some of the nicest people I have ever met. The regulars there are also pretty nice. The field is an all around safe friendly environment where you can bring a group or make some friends. All around a great exsperiance. read more
