Excellent day. Staff were constantly willing to help pull boats on shore at the landing sites. We hope to go back!

I had no idea this was here! I saw a pop up ad on Instagram for a ballet show that I clicked on…read more Then I realized they had Anastasia playing and that is one of my favorites. Tickets were super affordable so I got a few for me and my family. There's plenty of free parking around the building. They also have some concessions in the lobby including popcorn, candy, soda, beer and wine, and a few basic cocktails. The volunteer ushers were so cheerful and helpful. My mom was concerned about accessibility but there are a few handicapped spaces around the back of the building and all automatic doors. I purposely picked seats in the back row of the orchestra seats since there was just one step down. But I believe they have seats along the side that are wider, more comfortable chairs and no steps to access. Plus there is an elevator to the balcony level. I thought the show was great. The costumes were fantastic! My family loved our visit and we'll definitely be back.

I visited Hendricks Live to see a children's play. I should say, the venue is officially called Hendricks Live! With an exclamation mark. As a rule, my fingers will not let me type any word or phrase containing extraneous punctuation. So, henceforth, I will be writing Hendricks Live without an exclamation. I really like that they let you eat inside the theatre. I mean, I didn't eat in there, but I like that they give you the option. They have a concession stand with things like frosted cookies, popcorn, candy, wine, beer and soft drinks. The seats have cup holders. The theatre seems relatively new and well-taken-care-of. The seats were comfy, and even though my son, who is on the shorter side, sat in back of two adults, he could still see the stage. The people who scanned our digital tickets and showed us to our seats were very friendly. The whole experience was pleasant, and we had a nice time at the theatre.

Lobby was very clean and there was water available for the guests even at almost midnight. Our room was spacious with a desk, microwave, & fridge. Toiletries were stocked and there were plenty of towels. The bed was comfortable and the room smelled fresh without any fragrance. If you're sensitive to smells, this hotel is a great choice. I also did not see any signs of mold or water spots which is relieving. The only thing that could use improvement is the soap pumps on the shower wall, they turn brown around them between the bottle and the wall but unfortunately I think that's out of anyone's control since they're quite literally stuck to the wall. The man who was at the counter during check in was also really nice and we would definitely stay here again! There are plenty of restaurants nearby and it's in a safe location.

There is parking around the hotel. Our visit was Friday July 7, 2023. The price for one night was $189.00 not including tax and deposit fee. As you drive up to the hotel. You see many shops and restaurants. You go to the Courtyard and walk right into the door. You have the front desk to the left when you enter the lobby. You also have a bar and seating area on the right when you enter. As you make your way to the front desk. The nice staff member then give you amazing customer service and give you a key to your room. The elevator is on your left and down the hall which is kinda dark. You go to your floor and use your key card to enter the room. The rooms are very spacious. You have one bathroom with a tube and shower. One or two beds and a very big tv. The tv is a smart tv. The beds are very comfortable and nice to lay in. The bathroom was very clean during our visit. They have a fridge, microwave, and Keurig in the room. They are on a stand that has open panels which I thought was a cool feature. (Photo below) The location is amazing as you have many stuff to do during your visit at the courtyard. There is literally an outlet mall right next door. You can just shop til you drop at so many options. You do have a AMC theaters right next door as well. So there is plenty to do and have options if you don't want to travel so far. The location is in a safe area. We didn't feel unsafe during our visit. The hotel does not have pool but they do have a gym. We did not get to use the gym during our stay because there is a planet fitness about two blocks away. We did not get to use the bar either. So we can't tell you if the drinks was good or not. We also did not eat breakfast. The staff members was amazing. Very nice and very friendly during our stay at the courtyard. They went above and beyond and had a smile the entire time when they was talking to us for all the information about the hotel. She felt like she really enjoy her job and wasn't there just for paycheck. We did not have any issues with the staff members. We do recommend this Courtyard hotel as the location is nice and the hotel itself is really nice. The only thing I wish they had was a pool. That will be fun and very nice touch during anyone visits. Definitely if you have a family. Overall 4.8/5

The park has a very nice and soothing waterfall near the entrance. The park also has a small area with some picnic tables and there is a lot of shaded areas here. I was surprised to see a bathroom facility here, but it is under renovation at the time of this review. The park is a large garden composed of many smaller gardens such as the Memorial Veterans Garden, and the Enabling Garden. The center piece of the park is a triple gazebo that is very picturesque and can be rented. Even though it is not park of the park, I found another picturesque spot right off of it, a historic iron truss bridge. It spans the White Lick Creek and runs into the White Lick Creek Trail. The park is home to a veterans memorial and a statue that depicts a man holding a child, with two older children playing with a dog at his feet. The sculpture titled "a Celebration of Family values", is meant to signify The Dura builders family dedication to the town of Plainfield. You will also find many dedications and memorials in this park by some of the trees and in areas like the small fountain near the exit and the sundial sculpture across from the gazebos. The park has nice paths that run through it and are connected to a larger network of trails such as the aforementioned White Lick Creek Trail. This is a nice refection park that has a calming peace about it and is very soothing, even though it is located right off of a main thoroughfare. It does not have a shortage of benches. It feeds into some nice trails and offers some nice backdrops for pictures.
