They actually have you fill out a quick questionnaire about what products you use, what tools you have, how long since your last chemical treatment, etc. Talk about thorough! I've never had a salon put that much thought and effort into giving my hair the best care possible. I am horrible when it comes to doing / styling hair. That being said, I was able to walk in and say, "I want the best hair cut for my face shape, and I want it with layers and bangs" and come out with a wonderful haircut that fit my unique style and personality and isn't at all difficult to style / maintain on my own. My regular girl (Jade) was out on maternity leave so I had to see her replacement Chastity. If you have the option, DO NOT GO TO CHASTITY. My hair is LITERALLY turning orange from highlights I received from her. I also let them know I am not satisfied with the service provided and she never even attempted to contact me or make it tight which made me even more angry. She let me sit in the blower to blow dry my hair cause she didn't have time to finish my appointment but still charged my the full $220 for a partial highlight, I feel like I got screwed out of what could have been a great highlight for a wedding I had in December and will still not wear my hair down because it literally looks like shit. What prompted me to finally cut ties with this business is the shenanigans I've seen with harassment and the power imbalance her, her family and friends create online and behind the scenes when people have surfaced with complaints or anything she doesn't want to hear. Bottom line, the professionalism here is not what it should be and that's the god honest truth. Despite all that, though, nothing is all terrible. Her salon offers you a 1 on 1 experience, which is FANTASTIC if you don't like the stress of big salons & she's great at fantasy color. This is not the salon you'd want to go to if you don't like Unicorn hair. It's her bread & butter, & her portfolio makes that tremendously clear. Edit: After peeping a negative comment that's miraculously still up, I feel I should also say, as far as quality, her $400 + bleach jobs never lifted past brass 4 me, & if they would any paleness would vanish after 2 washes, despite buying my shampoos from her as well, but I have to say, I did have copper done about a year before that other review was posted & I personally had no issues whatsoever with her getting me to that desired color.
