Art is a great tattoo artist but overbooked his schedule. I scheduled at 3pm and came on time. I brought $100 over what he quoted me to tip. I even gave pizza to everyone. I was trying to be the friendliest I could be because that's my personality. Apparently my over friendliness was too much. Art politely let me know that because I had only confirmed 30 mins prior to the schedule I would have to be rescheduled I chose not to. He also informed me that by me being friendly I made others uncomfortable. This is apparently not a tattoo shop that welcomes everyone and has scheduling issues. They also claim to be closed on google and in the store front when they are not. read more

I have been planning my sugar skull tattoo for 8 years. It took me this long to really figure out what i exactly wanted, where and how to show what i wanted to express. I flew from my home in Tacoma to LAX and took an Uber to & from this shop in Pico. Sanae was worth it. Sanae listened to my ideas, and integrated them together to form this beautiful piece of art. Sanae's style is whimsical, playful and very vivid. Her use of color and style drew me to find her shop. Sanae was patient, throughout the planning process. She helped me tease out what exactly was important for me. The shop has a good rating by the health department. The artists wash their hands. The artists stations are fully cleaned before and after each tattoo. They use disposable- one time only needles. Overall, i am very pleased. I'm planning a trip to Disney just so I can get another piece of artwork by Sanae. I'm thankful i came across her work on Instagram. read more

I'm writing this review for my mom. She set up an appointment with art and he canceled it the day of the appointment. He said he would reschedule but never called back. Then my mom called 4 days later and rescheduled. My mom went today to her appointment and was waiting outside. He showed up like 15 minutes late. She got out her car and approached him. He said he didn't have any appointments set up because he was going to the dr. She showed him his text and he said he didn't have her number. She was like but you text me to come today. He said to just go with the other artists but couldn't guarantee the price he gave her and just handed her a business card. He wasn't even apologetic and didn't seem to care. read more

Wife had a couple tattoos done by Nicole. Came out looking nice. I, however, had several tattoos planned and ready to get. Willing to sit down for sleeve or do them one or two at a time. On day 1, the head artist, the one I wanted to do my work since his portfolio matched my style the best, i told him I would return as soon as they open the next day to have some work done since he was just starting someone elses sleeve. He said that would be good. Day 2, went in to get it done. I was told that he had an appointment in an hour so couldn't do it. But, if he got his appointments drawing done, he could probably knock one of mine out right then and there before his appointment arrived. Sadly, having a smoke break, designing someone elses tattoo (name and crown) and wondering around took priority over "photoshopping" the 1pm appointment. He got it photoshopped at 1pm and his appointment arrived. He then had to trace out the tat and at 2pm, he was finally starting the guys tat. I totally understand I was a drop in but he could have done one of two things. 1) Tell me DAY 1 that he was not available Day 2 or 2) recommend me to another artist (which everyone else was waiting around) to get one of the tats done while I waited for him for the more detailed pieces. Neither here, nor there, I was promised I would be called as he was finishing up his appointments tat so I can come back and get my done but it being 4 hours later, have yet to hear back..... Tattooing is more than just the artistic skill, it is also the business sense. Damn shame too. I was hoping I found "my shop" to get all my ink needs done (two sleeves, back piece, etc.) but I guess I am still shopping around. read more

I was looking around for a good shop that will take care of me, not over charge me but looking for amazing art. After asking around for a couple months I was referred to INFAMOUS INk. I was quoted and exited to get tatted right away. My appointment was within the week, didn't have to wait months down the line. The shop was clean and comfortable. Brandon is currently working on my Japanese theme sleeve on my right arm. I'm a couple sessions away from being done but already thinking of what's coming next. A great shop to call home.
