Since most of us (with the exception of one, can't draw a straight line) we enlisted Sheila (the gifted and most pleasant owner of Happy Hands) to ZOOM us through our December meeting. She mailed our supplies (outline-canvas, paints, brush and plate). Sheila set up the Zoom meeting and she was instantly part of our crazy group. She is talented, patient and walks you through each and every step. They do not have fabric items however, but right next door is a handcock's fabric which has tons of fabric. They run discounts on tons of their items each week and also run 40% off coupons regularly. If you do not have one of their coupons, google either them or a competitor and they will honor the coupon on a non-sale item. The staff there is super friendly and helpful. My number one recommendation for coming here is to have a list of what you need/are looking for because you couldn't possibly just browse the shelves like you would at Joann's or Michaels. The prices are insanely low and are the reason I keep coming back for my projects despite the lengthy drive from my home. The workers are all very kind and generous, often measuring lengths of fabrics and trims more with their heart than the rulers. I have never had an unpleasant experience with fine fabrics and I visited their Norcross location many a time, as well. If you're looking to stock up on materials, make a wedding dress, or your next cosplay, Fine Fabrics would be my number one choice for fabric and notions.

My only complaint is that it can be hard to navigate the aisle due to all the merchandise, the building has an unpleasant smell, and figuring out the price can be hard.
