They gave my dog some sort of burn and a corneal abrasion. She was red and swollen all down her…read morenose and around her eye, but the groomer never mentioned it when I picked her up. We took our poor dog to the vet the next morning, and the corneal abrasion was diagnosed. We had to put ointment in her eye for a week. I stopped by the groomer two days later and spoke to the woman who groomed her. She apologized for the injury, and said they had fired a shampooer for being rough. She verified my phone number, and said she would let the owner know. I never received a phone call or apology from the owner. They never offered to refund the grooming. The vet bill was not terribly expensive, but it's the principle of the matter. It felt like they don't care about our dog. We will not be back. I have since found a groomer in Show Low who is amazing, and I will drive the extra distance/30 minutes to make sure my dog is treated well.

I have been leaving my two small fur babies pet dogs with her when I leave town, because quite frankly...I have looked around the Laketop-Pinetop- Showlow area for many options for my pets...and I cannot find any other boarding place in the area like them: the staff clearly loves their work, the owner is responsible and trustworthy...and the boarding place is built on a property that is very animal friendly which I am sure the boarding " guests " definitely enjoy while they are there.
