We went to the Southern Hills Hospital ER on Saturday, 4/25/26 and within minutes they saw to my wife, and started her on an IV Antibiotic. Around 8pm they took me back there to see her, then around 10pm, they took her to a hospital room. We were told that they were going to operate on the infection and infected tissue on Sunday 4/26/26. She was cleared to leave on 4/28/26. The nurses, surgeon, and physician were all amazing. I am glad that she is out of the hospital now and the only thing to fear right now is the upcoming bill...

I would strongly caution anyone considering this hospital specifically the 4th floor. While other…read moreunits such as Labor & Delivery, ICU, or outpatient surgery may operate differently, my concerns are solely with the 4th floor care team. My mother has been hospitalized here for two weeks, and during that time we have experienced repeated and serious failures in care. Physical therapy orders were ignored, contributing to my mother going from being able to walk upon admission to now being unable to walk. A feeding tube was placed, yet she was not fed for three days due to the absence of a nutritionist. We requested a cardiologist and waited four days before one finally saw her. The list of issues is extensive. Most concerning at this point is that now that she is tube-fed, she is frequently left soiled and uncleaned. This is unacceptable and inhumane. I have photographic evidence of these conditions; while I am reluctant to share them publicly due to how disturbing they are, they do exist. I urge families to think very carefully before entrusting a loved one to this floor. What we have experienced reflects a lack of coordination, accountability, and basic patient dignity.

After a lifetime of appointments with several different Western trained medical doctors, I decided…read moreto take a more holistic approach and discovered Dr. Thompson, a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at Desert Oasis Clinic in Las Vegas Nevada. After living with a life-long condition called Trigeminal Neuralgia, an uncurable disease that was now beginning to rapidly deplete my immune system, leaving several more problems now alerting my primary doctor, who only prescribed medicine that would eventually decay my teeth or wanted to send me to a specialist with the good possibility of even more problems. I was at the point of losing all hope for any future. Dr. Thompson actually took the time and carefully put me on a path of healing, uncovering deficiencies in my system in many areas that no one has ever addressed. And after that first appointment with Dr. Thompson in February, I quickly found myself within days knowing I was on the right path with these natural remedies, things that gave me back my energy and above all, THE HOPE for a long and pain-free future. Dr. Thompson explains the "why" behind every remedy he prescribes in ways that are just plain, common sense. And he spends the time needed to really hear you out and answer those questions that others have often just left behind. I have never met a doctor who has an entire plan for your overall health, besides asking if you have seen a dentist or an eye doctor. He explained how everything is connected and follows up and makes those adjustments that you'll soon be needing along the healing journey that, for me, only Dr. Thompson and his staff have provided. It's May 20th, and I just went to see my primary doctor yesterday to get my blood pressure medicine reduced from 5mg to 2.5mg a day. Now that's the hope I've needed and spent a lot of time searching the medical field to find. Thank you, Desert Oasis Clinic, you possibly saved my life.

After three sessions, my knee is like new. I've now injured my elbow. After a month, I decided it wasn't going to heal itself, so off I went to Desert Oasis Clinic. They have so many resources for you to access to improve your health and help you with injuries and aging.

Scheduling was a breeze and I got a timeslot for the week immediately after my doctor referral. Their automated reminders and online patient portal helped in collecting all the required details prior to my appointment. The office was very clean and organized. Check-in for my appointment was quick and I only had to wait 5-10 minutes before I was called. Dr. Ansley and Jennifer were both very friendly, helpful and empathetic throughout the appointment which I really appreciated. They made sure I was comfortable and they addressed all my questions around the Pap Smear and the screening test. Highly recommend WHASN based on my experience!

My initial visit was today and I had my biopsy during this visit. *****My initial review was removed - you cannot trust these people. Even the office manager is rude.

I went to see Mary Nara at P-3 Medical Group for TMJ treatment. In the state of Nevada, TMJ is an…read moreinsurable medical condition. I told her that in my previous doctor's records, she would find the signed Medical Necessity Script needed for the oral surgeon and prosthodontist to file the treatment plan with Aetna. Every time I talk to her and mentioned it, she changed the subject or ignored it like it was not her problem. My lower jaw was sticking out one inch to the left and I could not eat. I went down to 92 lbs and eventually went into the hospital for failure to thrive. She asked me what I thought the problem was and I told her it was from the TMJ. It was causing so much pain that I could not open my mouth to brush my teeth or eat and the anxiety it caused was unbearable. I mentioned several times that I had two businesses, but I could work until it was fixed. The misalignment of my jaw was so severe, it knocked out almost all of my teeth which now made it a medical for dental claim. I have been permanently disabled since 2008. It took me over a year to find an oral surgeon and a prosthodontist that could repair the damage. They said it would take one year of oral surgery, and they could only replace my now damaged teeth with implants and that dentures were not an option. My oral surgeon also said that because it had not been treated, I developed Periodontal Disease and was at risk of having a stroke. Mary told me she had 1500 patients and she could not remember everything, so I was totally neglected until I almost died. I was invisible to her and everyone at P-3 Medical Group. My sister was so mad and upset that she flew to Las Vegas and called Mary as an emergency. She reminded Mary that there was a previous Medical Necessity script on file, but I needed a new one from her. I did everything on my own, which included finding the specialists that could treat my injury and getting verbal permission from Aetna to proceed with the claim. She told Mary I had to do everything on my own without her help and all I needed from her now was the Medical Necessity script so they could file the claim. Mary refused to give me a Medical Necessity Script and told me to go to the UNLV Medical Dental School. Both my sister and I hit the roof. She STILL did not understand that TMJ is an insurable medical condition. There is no way that the UNLV dental school could help me. No dentist could help me because it was a TMJ medical problem. Her neglect ruined my health and my life. It forced me to cancel all of my business clients and contracts. I am 5 foot 6 and still only 92 pounds. Complaints have been filed with Aetna who I had been working with closely on this claim. A lawsuit is pending against Mary Nara and P-3 medical group for neglect and punitive damages.
