I had one of the best experiences with the doctor personally, but unfortunately, the rest of the office completely let me down. It has been 14 days since my appointment, and I still have not received the information I was supposed to get about my medication. The staff was supposed to send it, but never did. I even called to follow up, and still nothing has been provided. What makes this even more frustrating is that this office does not work with any insurance, so you are required to pay a very high fee upfront. For the amount being charged, I expected much better communication and follow-through. This lack of organization and responsiveness is unacceptable, especially when it comes to important health matters. A good doctor alone is not enough when the office staff fails to support patients properly. Dr.Thompson is a remarkable doctor. I have been going to him for 30 years and just recently went to him for hormone therapy and I am feeling 100 times better. Everything he prescribes is bio-identical. I have had less brain fog, pain, my cortisol levels are down my mental state is so much better. He is about healing and fixing the problem. He is not going to give you a bandaid or pill and send you on your marry way. I he has treated me with prolotherapy. All instructions provided ahead of time, friendly service, calm environment-easy scheduling without an attitude (unlike the other place I went to in Vegas) actually tranquil is more like it. During a routine follow up visit for menopausal symptoms, Pre-diabetes, rampant candida, yeast infections and eczema, (all of which he eradicated), he noted that I was wearing a boot. Been through prolotherapy with Dr Thompson twice after separate injuries to my shoulder and forearm. I had soft tissue damage that would not heal and the pain and weakness became chronic. I wanted to try an alternative to a potential surgery and read about Prolotherapy. It worked both times and recovered 100%. You have to be patient with Prolo. It can take several treatments and your body will sometimes feel like a mess, but I found when I was due for my next treatment that I felt noticeably better than when I received the previous treatment. Testimonial of Sherry Freeman While traveling for work last November, I found myself suddenly - unable to ambulate off the airplane and required assistance. I eventually was admitted to the hospital for five days as I experienced excruciating back/knee pain and was unable to place any weight on my legs. I've seen at least 20 doctors over the 6 or so years I've been sick, and Doctor Thompson is the best I've seen (I've seen a few other good doctors too). He keeps up-to-date on recent medical findings, understands everything there is to know about medicine, knows which alternative supplements are worth/not worth taking based on how his patients have benefitted/not benefitted from them over the years (which is a huge help since there is very little unbiased documentation about alternative medicine), does not have a conflict of interest stemming from owning his own supplement-selling company the way some other doctors do, has a healthy skepticism of others' financial interests, and is very careful not to harm his patients by prescribing a recently-released drug or already-known-to-be-dangerous drug. His staff is on top of things too. As the review above says, this is the preferred place to go for Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy because there are only two places with Hyperbaric Oxygen Chambers in Las Vegas but the other places requires the patient to buy Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatments 10 at a time (at least, last I knew, about 3 years ago) while Doctor Thompson will let you buy the treatments one at a time.
