But lately, with TikTok & Instagram featuring vintage purse repair and restoration videos that intrigues my wife. So today, I looked in the window, and said "Yeah ! We are going in...Now !!" Not your regular consignment shop that smells of dust, mold & mildew, moth balls and mediocre yesteryear. This one is packed with desirable and sought after treasures. Brands like Prada, Hermes, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Givenchy. Handbags, tops, bottoms, jackets & coats, dresses, t-shirts and SHOES !!! So many shoes. Many of the items still NIB, (that's new in the box), but not priced as NIB. Jewelry; like 3 separate counters. Necklaces, rings, bracelets, watches. All styles to suit any look. My wife immediately fell in love with a bag. Beautiful brown/burgundy PRADA, with gold hardware. Even came with a certificate of authenticity. Incredible condition. Not "like new" but "New/New". We even haggled on the price, slightly, and Irene took off $20.00. So yeah, it was meant to be. Theresa was so accommodating and very personable. While Itzel coordinated fresh, hip styles for display. We even stayed a little longer to talk about other events and consignment stores that we frequent. I got measured up and when I got up to the register I was shocked to see the price. It was double what Men's Warehouse charges (got married recently. I know how much they charge). I thought to myself, ok it's a small shop. I'm sure they make up for it with great customer service, something large corporations can't always do. Fast forward to August. I get a call late Wednesday night to come pick up my tux. I couldn't get there Thursday due to work, so I show up first thing Friday morning. I get handed my suit and get shuffled out the door. I request to try it on and that's where all the problems start. My jacket was like 4 sizes too small. The manager of the store begins his rant about how this is my fault because I didn't come in on Thursday. I tell him he needs to fix it and he said it won't be a problem because there's tons of material in the jacket. I took the rest of my crap suit and went home. I go back the morning of the wedding and "Moe" started looking for my jacket. I try it on and nothing was fixed. Moe confirmed my suspicions and told me it was my fault because I didn't come Thursday (again and again). I go through the wedding with a suit that was pilled and looked like it was dragged behind a pick up truck for a few miles. Of course I had to wear my tiny ass jacket that I couldn't button. I looked like Chris Farley wearing David Spade's jacket in Tommy Boy. Oh and on top of everything else, my shoes were two different sizes. Not shoe sizes, physical dimensions. One was about 3/4" too small. When I returned this sad excuse for a suit, I asked for a refund because services were not provided and I pretty much got told to go fuck myself. The manager walked out of the store right in the middle of a conversation. I spoke to the owner (I think?) and he said we would be getting an insulting amount of money back (which hasn't happened yet a week and half later) and they don't automatically give you back your deposit. How many people are they scamming for 40 bucks because they don't know better. Stay away and just go to Men's Warehouse. They have more resources and they give you a lot more time to make sure your suit or tux is right. These guys are just assholes. Plain and simple.

Plz don't come if you don't want to ruin your day!…read more I've been to this shoe repair store three times, and unfortunately, my most recent visit was extremely disappointing due to the rude and unprofessional attitude of the staff member there. The boss was fine, but the staff was truly rude. Dealing with such a thing on Saturday literally ruined my weekend. Therefore, I wish to share the whole story with you guys here. On my third visit, I clearly told the staff that I didn't want to spend too much on an outsole replacement, since this particular pair of shoes only cost $95. I even said that if the cost was too high, I would prefer to buy a new pair. The staff assured me the job would be $35, which I agreed to. However, when I returned to pick up the shoes, I was suddenly told the price was $85. I felt helpless since there was no invoice given, and the service has already been done. When I questioned the change, the staff became rude and dismissive, showing a very negative attitude rather than calmly explaining the misunderstanding. It turns out the $35 quote was only for the heel--not the full sole replacement--which was never made clear to me. Thankfully, the boss stepped in and agreed to a $50 charge, which I accepted. But the damage was already done in terms of the experience. After the boss agreed on $50, the staff becomes even more rude to me. This is the reason why I would like to share this experience with everybody else to help your guys avoid such experience. What made this worse is that I had already been tolerant in the past. For example, during a previous service, the staff got black oil/dirt on my shoes which was a pair of brand new Saint Laurent sandals with retail price $770 dollars before tax, but I chose not to complain and continued to support the business. I expected a little more care and respect in return. Please refer to the attached pic for more details. After this last visit, I've lost trust in this store. I don't recommend going to a place where simple communication turns into conflict and customers are treated with such negativity.
