Fun place to watch a movie in the park! We came at the last minute, but had more than enough snacks! Such a fun time. It was very family friendly. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the view! The only downside is no closed caption on the movie. read more

5 stars for Monday Movies in the park during summer time. Red Rocks movie cost $13 and it forces you sit on hard concrete benches where Infinity lets you go on the professionally maintained grass with picnic blankets or folding chairs. The best part is that they allow you to bring your OWN food and beverage. Free entry and free parking lot on NE side of the stadium. Online says no dogs, but there is a enclosed grass area on the south side where owners can chill with Fido by their side. This is pretty impressive compare to the 90s ghetto Glendale that I grew up with. Get the Red Velvet from Denver Cupcake Truck! read more

Had signed up for the Denver Post Smart Couponing Seminar. Didn't know it was part of the Amazing Adventures Travel & Recreation Expo at Infinity Park. Had to park about two blocks down, but it was free parking, so didn't mind. There were a lot of different kiosks on the grounds and also food vendors. We didn't have time to peruse before the seminar and that was interesting and we got a booklet of coupons and I won two $5 King Soopers Gift Cards so I was happy about that. Afterwards, Calina and I walked around the different kiosks, signed up for some raffles, got a few free pens, gum, etc and then headed home. Lots of people were enjoying the event and it was a worthwhile trip. read more

We packed a picnic and some chairs and headed out, parking lots are plenty some close.. some far. Really fun family experience. Make sure you read the park rules.. you can bring your alcohol, beer wine, but absolutely.. your Salsa will become contraband if it's in a glass jar.. No glass allowed!!!!! This was a really fun spot to see an outdoor movie. The sound system and screen they use was really clear. Plenty of room for lawn chairs, blankets and come guy even brought a blow up couch! Vendors line the outer edge so you can get some goodies and they even run through the crowd passing out samples from time to time. Not sure what it's like trying to leave when everyone else does because we left early when our date was interrupted with a work call.. total bummer but still a nice night. read more

This is a great place to watch a free movie on the Jumbotron. However, they lose 1 star for the parking being a couple blocks away (that is pretty far to drag your chairs & cooler) and they lose a 2nd star for the quality of their film. Back to the Future last night had lots of errors in the film and actually had to be reset. Boo! I think they can definitely get one star back if they work the kinks out of their film system. Other than that, there are plenty of ushers to help you find the parking and the entrance when you are lost. Food & Beer booths are open before and during the show for you to get a Snappin Dog & a cold one. And, there was plenty of room to spread out. I have been to some outdoor films where it is just crowded and uncomfortable. Not so here! I look forward to coming back for more films and possibly a Rugby game. read more

Infinity park was just wonderful. But I was at the VIP section for the World Cup Rugby championship games in 9/11...US vs Canada. I was the only woman of color there... and there was only one black man in the VIP section. I was dressed in a gorgeous Middle Eastern gold embroidered black gown... To my utter surprise...most people in the VIP section were in shorts...but that was fine in my book. I and my M.D. husband brought our chairs out to sit on... This guy behind me insisted that I sit right in the back of the viewing area...I and my husband told him that we had our own chairs... He again told me ONLY...and not my white MD husband...to sit right in the back of every body at the VIP section. I told him that I was fine just where I was by MD white husband. He did not say a SINGLE word to my husband about taking his chair...all the way back... It was cool for this old guy to boss me...and not tell my white husband a single word about sitting in the back. The old guy then told me for the third time to sit in the back. He then had the nerve to tell me that he was the MAYOR of Glendale...Soooo sickening... Like that statement was going to bully me into submission...Really!!! I then told my MD white husband that the Mayor of Glendale was demanding and commanding me around with his own crazy rules. He was making up his own cockamamie rules. My husband then asked him why he was being so adamant in asking me to sit right in the back... The mayor of Glendale then apologized to my husband for his behavior... I was then asked to give up my chair to a white guy and his wife... I told them to get their chairs from the VIP lounge... just the way I and my husband got our chairs from the VIP lounge... His wife then used profanity... I was in total shock at her and his and her behavior towards me... Then I was having a great time talking to two sweet young ladies. They asked me where my dress was from...as they wanted to buy such a style of dress. These two white guys just insulted all three of us ladies and they said that we were full of shit. Apparently these two white guys were listening to our girl talk...and they just barged in on our private conversation and told all three of us off... Again my husband had to talk to one of the guys who yelled at us... He apologized for his behavior... Then this lady told me to be nice to her friends...the very people who were bullying me... By then... I spoke to Tim... the black man in the VIP section about the bullying that was going on at the VIP lounge... He was sitting with the man who built the Infinity park...Tim told me to point to the people who were bullying me...and I did... He got security for me. I wore a Middle Eastern... gorgeous gold embroidered black out fit l... Granted that it was 9/11... but being ganged up on at a VIP lounge was no fun... Islamophobia is very real... I am not Muslim... I am a Methodist and Christian... As soon as my white husband asked the bullies...what was going on...then they backed off... I should be able to wear a Middle Eastern outfit and not be treated like a third class citizen by people who are biased and racist. Only when my white husband spoke to the bullies...did their unusual behavior towards me stop. What a horrible experience to endure at a VIP lounge. I fell just awful for my Muslim lady friends who are being picked on... read more

A surprisingly top notch facility right in the middle of Glendale. A great spot to catch rugby matches. There are multiple food and beverage options. This is the first full service sports complex dedicated specifically for rugby in the U.S. The park also has sprawling grounds and a fitness facility and high altitude training center for Glendale residents. read more

Ahhhh... my home away from home. And by away I mean two blocks. I love Infinity Park for so many reasons. First, it's the only dedicated rugby stadium in the United States. Second, it's a great place for teams to practice on the turf field when not in use (or run, Jazzercize outdoors by yourself, or lay in the sun). Third, it's got the most amazing gym. I'm a member of the gym there - Glendale residents only pay $8/month (I think it's around $50 for everyone else), but because it's so expensive for non-residents, it's always empty. It is the cleanest gym I've ever been a member of HANDS DOWN. All of the equipment is modern. All cardio equipment has built-in TVs with iPod docks. And did I mention it's never busy? The only downside is there is no steam, sauna or pool, but for $8/month, who's complaining with a full gym and basketball court affixed with TRX clips. The group ex classes are great and they have a good group of trainers as well. Back to the stadium, starting this weekend pretty much every Saturday, you can start watching rugby at 2pm until around 8 for $6. Anything on the turf field is free. Inside the stadium there are concessions and "The Shopping Maul" (rugby fans will get it) where you can buy rugby paraphernalia, and the Try Club where you can also procure adult beverages on game days. If you have no idea how rugby is played, they have ambassadors that will explain what's going on and they give you a little flyer to explain basic concepts. They also have an event center. I've never seen the full space, but it's pretty big and they host lots of fundraisers there and Whole Foods was doing something-or-another there a few weeks back. If you don't live in Glendale, move to this 1 square mile of heaven and get yourself a cheap gym membership (did I mention you also get in to the rugby days for $2 off too?) If you're not inclined to move, come visit on Saturdays during rugby season - it's cheap fun for the whole family, but if you have loud, uncontrolled children, please sit a section or two away from me. read more

This park has really re-vamped the neighborhood. I finally got the chance to walk around the park and found it very pleasant. There is a nice trail and waste receptacles all the way around for the pooches. The park was full of friendly families and rugby fans. The stadium for the games is very nice, but I've actually never been to a game. We did go to a Mini Cooper rally last summer because it was free and Blues Traveler was playing, can't beat that. The Cupcake Truck has also made some appearances at the games too-nice. So happy to see Infinity here instead of a huge mound of dirt as it previously was. And I'm very happy to see the positive effect it has had on the surrounding neighborhood, which was getting a bit seedy after dark before. read more

Infinity Park is not just an outdoor venue, but a fully serviced Event Center. I was there for a Corporate Event in the Evening. The lobby / entrance area is contemporary and gives a good first impression, as did the friendly staff. The room was large, high-ceilinged, and has giant screens all along the perimeter. (LCD? Projector?) The room is of a size that it can be set up in a number of ways. There is easily enough room to have a "Tables" setup, (With or without Dance Floor) and the front of the room is wide and large enough to handle a good-sized stage. Rows of chairs also fit comfortably for a presentation-style setup. I saw it as a combination of both, chairs in the front, tables and food in the back, with stage. It worked well. The lighting in the room was good, with flexible options for different settings. (Eating lighting, Presenter Lighting, Audience Participation Lighting, Etc...) The sound system was clear, correctly dispersed speakers, and set at the correct volume. The catered food was fine, and I'm not sure if it's a contracted caterer or if it was provided by the Center. The employees, though, were certainly nice and helpful, and didn't allow the food tables to go empty. I'd definitely recommend this for your events, depending on their degree of formality, of course. Second time I have been to this venue and its worth a mention. Saturday I went to see the England Saxons play against Argentina. If the place holds 5000 people then it must of been quite close to capacity as most of the stands were full and that's a good sign for the Glendale facility :o) Unless you are in one of the VIP areas, all seats are General Admission and are exposed to the elements so don't forget your sunscreen or rain jacket. They also know how to pour a pint of Guinness even though it comes in a plastic cup. A large beer is $7 and they have Smithwicks and Harp also seeing as Guinness is a sponsor. I've been to a few rugby games at the stadium and am always impressed with the crowd in attendance - always packed! The rugby games are fun to watch and the fans are really into the game. Tickets are really reasonably priced and had a BOGO coupon for Chipotle on the back. I also really love this park to walk my dog around - plenty of space to run her around and there are many stations set up where I can grab a 'poo bag' should I forget my own. Every park should have these! Most recently, I've also signed up as a member of the sports center and can say I've not been in a nicer gym in a long time! This place has high-tech, new cardio machines (with TVs!) & weight equipment, any type of exercise paraphernalia (rubber bands, free weights, medicine balls, etc), anything you could want to use for fitness, they have. I haven't taken the group fitness classes yet but the schedule looks incredible - dance, kettlebell, yoga, spinning. In addition to the sports center, there are basketball courts, an events center, a library and a community center. A beautiful facility! For Glendale residents, membership rates are very reasonable. read more

Disclaimer: I have not been to this facility in 2 years. So why am I reviewing it now? I recently moved to Beverly Hills, and surprisingly I can't find anything that even comes close to what I had at Infinity Park! Finding a good yet affordable gym here is an absolute nightmare, and I so long for the days when I lived in my little apartment next to the Glendale Sports Center, and paid my tiny membership fee for an exceptional, clean, well-equipped and spacious facility. Denver residents- take advantage of this place! It's seriously a hidden gem! I really miss the gym, and the friendly staff! read more

If you're in any way a fan of rugby, come here. Come here as soon as possible. They call it Rugby Town USA for a reason. It's a dedicated rugby field, and one of the only ones in the country! Cheap tickets, great views (well designed field), and an awesome atmosphere. This place rocks. read more

Super fun to come to a game, have a beer or two or four and watch some rugby. The Stadium is very nice and on a warm evening I really can hardly think of anything better than hanging out with some friends, watching the men get after it and relaxing on the bleachers. I've been to Infinity Park for both a rugby match and a free movie shown up on the jumbotron. The tickets for rugby aren't too expensive (though we got ours for free) and the movie night was free -- and yes they open up Steve's Snappin' Dogs for movie nights! It's a gorgeous facility, well maintained, still clean and gorgeous. The field is in perfect condition, it's attached to a great fitness center, and there's even a practice rugby field connected just south of the main field. It's a great place to learn about rugby (you spend the first half learning how it's played if you're a newbie, then the 2nd half actually understanding what you're cheering for.) It's also a great place to go hang out on Monday nights when they have free movie nights. It's all outdoor, exposed to the elements, so bring a coat and some sunscreen just so you're prepared for everything mother nature might throw your way, but whatever you do -- just go! We work out on the practice rugby field 2-3 days a week at 6 am and I always feel safe there. It's well lit, clean and a stunning area of Glendale. I could walk there from my place and although I haven't been to a rugby game, I've heard they are great. I see a lot of meetings and conventions going on in the event center. We also walk our doggies in the park area and they have plenty of poo bag stations to keep it picked up. What's not to love here? I'm thrilled they are putting money into this area. The old apartments that burned down across the street will soon be a nice parking deck for the rugby games and event center. Also saw that there are plans to build a luxury apartment complex next to the parking deck. read more

Glendale has a rugby team that plays here. It is nice to have a variety of sports to go and see in Denver. This complex is still really new and they take good care of it. The free movie nights are fun, you get to sit on the field and watch on their scoreboard. They have a snack bar and clean restrooms. Bring a picnic, just no glass... read more

Love this fitness center! I have been a regular here for 3 years. It is always clean, rarely crowded (although it has become a lot more popular in the past year or so), and has great classes. You can't beat it, especially when the monthly rate for Glendale residents is less than a fast food meal. Forgot to mention, you can use any Y with a drop in fee of $5 (last I checked), which gets you some of the amenities you might miss here (like a pool). read more

I absolutely hate living across the street from here. Constant blasting of the music and PA system constantly wakes my sleeping baby. I didn't know they were going to constantly be blaring their system during the weekdays. It's so f'n annoying. I could deal with one day for game days but it's a constant struggle. I love this park because it's convenient for me, close enough to my job and it's really neat. There are many things that you can do at this park but I mainly use it for the running tracks. ...It's very pretty here. I don't know how the city of Glendale managed to cobble together the funds to put together a beautiful, architecturally interesting multi-million dollar park in one of the lower-middle-class sections of metro Denver, but it's a boat anchor. A beautiful, green boat anchor that keeps this area from miring down in the quicksand and sinking into complete ghettosville. The trail around the "park" area is in the shape, if I recall, of a very long peanut -- maybe one with 3 nuts in it, with 1 or 2 curving paths down the middle. It encloses 1 of 2 soccer/football/rugby fields, and the only one open to the public. There are picnic tables and covered shelter. Waste receptacles and baggies for dog owners. Sometimes, or maybe often, this area is lit up with full-tilt stadium lights late at night -- how they can afford the electric bill, I don't know -- but I'd wager it keeps crime down in the area, as well. And then, of course, there's the "big stadium". Seats up to 4000-5000 fans (official website says 4000), primarily used for watching national/international rugby matches...but also has frequent "movie nights" during the summertime for free. They could charge...but it's *free*. Not like Movies On The Rocks -- I know, 2 entirely different venues, different vibes, types of movies, etc...but it's still nice Glendale manages to do it for free. The men's team here were the 2011 DI national champions. The women's team were the 2011 national runners-up. Glendale Sports Center proudly displays a banner on the side proclaiming Glendale as "Rugbytown USA". Never mind that it was a blip on the local news; people here are proud of the team and it shows; gives this area enough backbone to stand a bit taller and shine more confidently than it would without the team and the stadium, for sure. On top of the previously mentioned activities, I watched (and mingled with) some high-society social event here last summer, where the men wore seersucker and other summer fabriced suits and the ladies vintage dresses and really amazing hats, as they all danced and drank in the summer sun, listening to various bands play. Was it a benefit? Was it a celebration? I don't know. But everyone was dressed to the nines (except me; I was there in shorts and a t-shirt and pretended I was there as a staff photographer for a local paper. :) Epic. ;) ). The facility is truly multifunctional and a great place to visit; no matter what the occasion is. I'm with Angela A on this one: the place, literally and figuratively, shines forth in the dark to hold off the seediness, and radiates openness and friendliness during the day -- you may even get smiled at here, if you aren't careful. read more

Came here for the first time to watch the 7's tournament which was also my first time seeing a rugby game. Parking can be problematic if there is a tournament going on, so expect to park a ways away and walk in. Bring a cushion or something to sit on, as the benches are cement. read more

We went to the Glendale PRP game this past Saturday and were very impressed by this facility. My husband's rugby team played on the practice field before the PRP games. The turf on this field could use being redone in the near future as much of its cushioning is gone, and the field could use more seating if games are going to be held there. The stadium is very well done. However, I was disappointed to see how many spectators disrespected the facility by leaving their trash strewn across the seating area. Employees should not have to clean up after you because you're a lazy jerk when there are trash cans and recycling bins located throughout the facility. read more

Small & safe park. I usually take an hour running at this park every night. If you have a pet or if you wanna throw a ball, this is definitely the place you are looking for. The park has a football court and a walking ramp around it. read more

What a great venue. And a great surprise if you have not been. Take Mississippi East from Colorado and turn left on BIRCH it's right there !! Lots of community support, plenty of good places to eat in the area, make it an afternoon and take in a rugby game. read more

Do not join this soccer league. The head lady has no idea how to run a league, she doesn't know any rules of the game, and she hires referees that have no idea what they are doing. If you want to get injured play here. The referees think its a funny when you get fouled. One of the girls on our team got body checked from behind by A GUY twice her size and the ref made no call. Our forward was on a break away and got fouled so bad the other team stopped and apologized, but still no call was given. All the referee could say in the most sarcastic tone ever is "I guess I didn't see that foul either". If you play in this league and there is an over weight referee that needs to shave and looks like he is in his mid 30's that plays video games in the basement of his parents house (because that where he lives) I would get off the field because he has no concern for your safety. The talent level in this league is below high school junior varsity and the refs shouldn't be allowed to ref U5 soccer let alone adult soccer. If you are looking for league where you will get hurt and the referee does nothing to protect you....this is the league for you. The police have been called several times because of fights and the refs and the league manager do nothing about it. The lady who runs the league should be ashamed of herself for hiring terrible referees and should be fired for having no understanding of the rules. I wouldn't put her in charge of a 6 year old's league at the YMCA. read more
