They welcomed me, and asked me to fill out my new patient paper work. When I was done, and went back to the front counter there was a lady that I believe is the Office Mgr, I could barely understand her, but she made it seem as if this photo option that was not covered by my insurance was not an option, so I agreed to it, she said "okay only $39 more". So then I was called back by Sharron, which further explained the photo option that was not covered by my insurance. I decided that I did not need, so I opted out of doing it, she said fine but you should consider it next time, and explained the benefits, I said I sure will. Then here comes the Office Mgr saying "he's doing it!" I said no I'll consider it next time. That was sorta awkward, how she was trying to up sell this option. But Sharron was the super star that made me super comfortable. Dr. Chen is extremely personable, and knowledgeable of his craft, he explained all my options, and gave his recommendations. Overall I had a good experience, and would highly recommend this place because of Sharron, and Dr. Chen.

The recording tells you over and over again that all receptionists are busy talking to other clients. Please remain on the line and someone will be with you shortly. All calls are answered in the order in which they are received. So, perhaps they need to hire more receptionists. Today, after holding for nearly 20 minutes, someone actually answered and before I could say a word, the hung up. Sheesh.

Called 3 times to make my contacts order. The team member end up emailing me their app with my contact order but the total cost due did not include my insurance benefits. After calling the office manager, the staff member finally called me today. As for billing, I had incurred a charge since last year and was constantly asked about paying it. I explained that there should not be a charge and to please explain what it's for. They were friendly, directed me to wait for a few moments till someone was available which only ended up being about 2-3 mins. Then Crystal (sp?) came over and adjusted my glasses.
