Infusion is truly one of my favorite places in the city. The staff makes me feel at home every time I walk up those stairs. The cocktails here are unmatched. They are using quality ingredients and you can tell. My favorite espresso martini of all time is the Blueberry Espresso Martini here. Ask for it, taste it, and thank me later! If you're in Old City on a weeknight and want to grab a delicious cocktail, this is the spot! Came across this place purely by accident. Walked into the bar downstairs and it was packed and smelled horrible, but saw a group go into a door just next to the bar. Went up and found this lounge. Staff were really chill and friendly and the atmosphere was really nice. Got a drink that was pricy, but looked really cool. I realized later that there was hookah which I am not a big fan of, but the atmosphere was really nice and it would be an awesome place to try. Even better if you do hookah! *Private Cocktail Class Review* (but If you are craving an expresso martini, this is also the place to be) Had a great night out with friends at one of Infusion Lounge & Cocktail Culture's cocktail classes. This class specifically focused on herbs but there are a number of classes ranging from fruit to even prohibition style drinks. (Hopefully will break out the piggy bank for the premium whiskey class) For the herbal class we did 3 rounds of drinks using herbs like basil and mint. The group was very shocked that you can make such tasty drinks with just a few ingredients. We also really loved the fact that there were so many options for how you wanted to make your drink. I love spicy drinks so I took the Liberty of infusing it into one of me drinks. Very good! Our host/instructor was so fun and bubbly. She made things so easy a caveman could make a great cocktail Also got a chance to connect with the owner Jamie who was very pleasant and super knowledgeable about just about everything. This is an extremely cool hookah/cigar whiskey lounge with comfortable seating and an awesome staff. I came here on an early Saturday afternoon with my buddy. We wanted to find a new hookah spot and this place popped up on Google. I cannot believe I had never heard of this place. It's in the building next to Cuba Libre, on the second level (above Nick's Bar and Grill). When we got there, We sat at this incredibly comfortable leather coach. There were several couches in this one seating area. We soon ordered a hookah. We got blue mist flavor, which was very tasty. The hookah came out fast and was delicious. We ordered a Woodford whiskey flight and a few beers. We didn't realize until the end of our hookah that they will refill the hookah head for free! I am not aware of any other hookah bar in Philly that does that. We immediately fell in love with this place. The staff was super attentive and accommodating. I had to leave early but I wanted to stay for the stand-up comedy night, which they apparently have every Saturday. This place hosts several events throughout the week. I highly recommend this place. My only suggestion for this spot would be more IPAs! read more

I visited a few weeks ago. This lounge was stop no. 2 in our Grim Philly Christmas Taverns tour. The lounge was mostly empty on a Sunday evening before Christmas except our group of eight, and we were able to get comfortable couch seating toward the upstairs back, which was uncrowded, dimly lit, and a good space for conversation when there's not too many other people in the lounge. The bar drinks were pretty pricey, so we drank only the complimentary drinks that came with our tour. The bartender/server was super friendly and didn't get put off by the fact that many of us didn't order any food or beverages. Our tour guide brought snacks for us, my boyfriend and I had dinner plans later so we didn't want any food, and the complimentary round of drinks was strong. This is a good place to meet up with friends. The bar is huge, and the interior is spacious, but I can see this place getting crowded on a Friday or Saturday night. The decor is awesome, the lighting and music are welcoming and lively. The ambiance is upscale and fun and definitely geared toward a 20- and 30-something crowd. Beware that because it is a smoke-friendly lounge, all types of legal smoking is allowed (cigars, cigarettes, hookah). read more

Went to infusion lounge for drinks with friends. The lounge looks sumptuous and is comfortable. It was mid week during the holiday season and pretty quiet. We got their promotional deal for flights of margaritas and mojitos. Each flight had three flavors: classic, strawberry, and blackberry. The drinks were delicious and made with real fresh fruit juice. My favorite was the blackberry margarita. Service was excellent, friendly & chill. Atmosphere, decor and lighting were great. I'd definitely recommend going there and getting those delicious cocktails with fresh juice. read more

Intriguing. Very new establishment where you can smoke a hookah, cigar, or have a cocktail or two. They are bringing in comics, bodypainting, music. This is a nice option in the Olde City area. My Infusion Lounge review is for their cocktail class only. I recently had the pleasure of attending the Cocktail Culture class at Infusion Lounge. Now having several different cocktail classes under my belt, I really enjoyed this one. The instructors were very casual and not the least bit stuffy. They were knowledgeable but made everything fun. It was also foolproof. They walked us through each step down to liquor measurements and the proper way to muddle. You can tell they have a passion for cocktail making and have fun with their jobs. There were three different rounds: cocktails with mint, cocktails with basil and a mixed option. We had several options of what type of cocktail to make within each round based on what kind of liquor you like. For example, our mint round we could have made a mojito with rum or whisky based drinks. One would think this would make the instruction complicated, but they took the time to walk each group through the process. Don't worry about walking out trashed. You make the three cocktails over the course of about 2-3 hours. It's more about the craftsmanship versus volume consumption. The class takes length at the bar, so is limited to about a dozen participants. I wish the bar was curved because it made interaction and socialization among all participants rough, but it's not a huge deal. I'd absolutely recommend this for any corporate event, bachelor/bachelorette or birthday party. read more

I am all for my servers wearing pants and my hookahs having flavor without much effort. Neither happened at Infusion last night. I didn't understand the servers' uniforms of provocative leotards and Hot Topicy stockings. I mean, it's not a strip club, right? Actually, would strippers even wear leotards? I also didn't understand why they didn't have a drink menu. Our server was a "walking menu," and provided me with a Tom Collins-esque watered down cocktail when I asked to be surprised with a gin drink. We ordered the Pirate Cove hookah ($25), which was relaxing and delicious when it could be tasted. There were issues with the bowl a couple times, and it didn't last as long as the hookahs at B-Side and Byblos. When it came time to pay, I asked for a separate check from the couple I was with -- and the server put $13 of the hookah on mine, plus she gave herself a very generous mandatory $7 tip on my tab, which made no sense to me considering that my bill didn't warrant more than a $5 tip. Why would a 25% tip be mandatory, girl? I paid, but I wasn't happy about it. Aside from the cost, the strange server costumes and the somewhat lacking products, the place was pretty neat. Lots of potential, hence the 3-star rating. It's dark and flashy -- located above Nick's Roast Beef in Old City -- and has comfy couches for groups, on which we sat. Billy the bouncer has a foot fetish and you have to give him a picture of your feet before entering the club. If you don't give him a feet picture, he will make sure to put mayonnaise inside of your hookah so that you're secretly inhaling nasty ass mayonnaise the entire night. Just to be clear, this was the second time I have been to infusion lounge. I came the first time with a group of friends on a Friday night and it was not that busy maybe 20 people plus my group of 6, lights and music were low, not to low tho enough to "lounge" and have a comfortable conversation amongst friends, yet the DJ felt the need to crank the music up to ungodly volumes to the point where I couldn't hear my friend right next to me! The server and the bartender that were working were great however and they both relayed that we were not the first PAYING customers to complain about the volume... we paid the tab and decided to go somewhere else! Hoping it was just a fluke I decided to come and have a few cocktails and some hookah this past week. Me and a friend stopped in at about 10:30 pm, I have no problem with the drinks, which were INCREDIBLE and made by the same bartender that took care of me the last time I was there tall guy lots of tattoos who was super helpful, and didn't mind letting us try a few things to see what we might be interested in. In the middle of our conversation once again the music was jacked up to ungodly volumes while the bartender tried his best, even screaming at times, to talk to us as well as other people that were at the bar!! I understand it was a weekend night and I'm not some square who doesn't understand the night life... but this was ridiculous! I figured I could just adapt and overcome at least there was a DJ right? Wrong! There might as well not even be anybody playing the music because a trip up to the dj booth to request a regular pop song nothing with foul language or a bad message and I was told no we only play house music, so I replied "that's fine I understand but does it all have to be techno vibes, maybe a song or 2 with some words maybe mix it up a little bit??" And I assure you I said that with a smile on my face which was met by an aggressive look and he scoffed "I only play what I have on my computer", I still don't quite understand what that means... with all that being said Im giving this place 3 stars I would come back again but only if I was assured there would be NO DJ that night. The drinks are GREAT and the bartenders are very warm, welcoming and engaging, But I feel like you can only enjoy it when the DJ isn't blasting the same repetitive techno-house music over and over again at volumes that should be illegal!!! 50/50 on if I will be back but if you suffer from headaches or want to listen to good, fun music you can dance to you are probably better off going somewhere else!!! read more

Watch out for this place and don't be fooled by the outdated reviews! We paid for "free flow" at the door and were told that it covered everything. I asked what that included and if it really meant everything and they said yes. The owner was there and said we would be crazy if we did not get the deal because it was too good. We went to the bar and they asked us what we wanted. Got cocktails that THEY recommended and were charged for them in the end on top of the free flow amount that we paid without notice. I was super upset when I found out that our bill was and my sister paid it without telling me what happened. We spent over 300 dollars for 3 people when we were told that free flow was 30 dollars. This place is always dead. My boyfriend and I enjoy a good cigar and have been there about 6 times since they opened with no problem. In fact we have enjoyed our prior visits which is why I am giving them two stars. We went this past Saturday night and it was pouring rain outside, there were literally guys at the bar with tee shirts and tennis sneakers on. My boyfriend was refused entry because he was wearing designer sneakers. When I pointed out the guys at the bar with tees and non-branded sneakers on and asked why they were allowed entry, the ID checker/bouncer said they were part of a prepaid bachelor party and so they made an exception. So we left - no problem - and went to our favorite cigar spot. There is a chance we will be back in the future because we have enjoyed this place, but the experience tonight was a disappointment. read more

Interesting seeing the reviews of how fun this place is. Maybe we caught this place at the wrong time? I went here for a friends birthday this weekend. And we anticipated the place to be slightly packed with more than 20 people there. The bar area will full and the entrance lounge section was occupied with what looked like the managers friends. I could be wrong... I regret that we got the bright Idea to leave and do karaoke at 1am at another spot . Because we spent $200 in this spot for no reason really. The music SUCKED. They played House Music all night which we didn't mind but ALL NIGHT LONG? No mix up? Nothing? Not even a little? Anyway, I passed on the sweet cocktails and opted for white wine, Pinot Grigo. In doing so I ordered my 2nd one, this time with the cocktail waitress (The 1st time i ordered was from the General manager) the cocktail waitress brought back a Moscato and told me that that was all they had because they ran out of the PG. Hmm interesting because I saw the GM open a brand new bottle. Did you ask or did you just assume that was what I was drinking because you forgot what I ordered??? She wasn't very friendly to begin with so I doubt she cared she made this mistake.. She returned with PG I at some point ask the gm if we could hear something else from the dj and he said sure what would you like to hear? I told him anything a bit different than House he said no that's all we play. All night. Eh. Okayy??? We tried to make the best of it and the GM wound up given us another hooka flavor for free, which was nice but c'mon we wanna dance..... To a different sound and because Philly spots close at 2am we sorta feel as if we wasted a good Saturday night by hoping the scene here would change or at the very least the music. First off, this place was so hard to find. So to make this clear: It is on 2nd Street but it's located on the 2nd floor with a small sign. The actual place you ask? Pretty intriguing. We walked in to see pretty much naked girls wearing only pasties on their boobs, with fish next stocking in undies, about to get their boobies painted. The place is a pretty small and narrow bar with EDM playing. The decor is pretty chique. Smoking is allowed since it's a hookah joint. However, it felt dirty in there. The girls bathroom was also atrocious. But, if you're drunk enough to not care about hygiene, this could be the bar for you! read more

One of my favorite hookah joints in Old City. Good one-stop-shop. Tasty cocktails and hookah right at the bar. One side of the lounge is reserved for larger parties. There is also a smaller lounge area on the other side of the building with some nice leather couches. Really chill vibe, and not too loud. Good service, and very responsive staff that tends to the coals and any adjustments that need to be made to the pipe. read more

One this bar is overly priced. 14.00 for a butt nasty passion fruit martini that WASNT even in a martini glass and it wasn't chilled like it should have been. It was VERY strong, and made poorly. After that, it ruined my night, you are located in old city, not Manhattan on the strip. Give me a break. I ended up leaving and went to the bar around the corner, they were better priced, nicer employees and a better atmosphere, not a random couch, a creepy picture and music that's too loud for no reason, keep in mind it's suppose to be a lounge, not your grandmothers basement.
