If you're looking for a romantic date night place in Philly, this is the spot. It is a speakeasy located in the basement of a hotel (?) building. We visited on a Saturday night and they had live music around 7:30pm. During the week Monday to Friday they have happy hour from 5-7pm and you can make reservations for that as well. People have told me they've been wanting to check this place out but didn't go because they have a dress code. Don't be discouraged by their dress code - the staff were very friendly and we didn't dress formal or anything, just a casual outfit. If you want to dress up and have a classy date night with your partner or friends, this is the place to do it as well. I got wine and my partner got the specialty "mint" to be drink. They have a good selection of drinks!

10 out of 10 experience. Came here on a Wednesday night and although not crowded, we appreciated the piano music and ambiance. The entire decor is so classy looking and really looks like a speakeasy but it still has the fun vibes too with different themed music nights. My espresso martini was so good and the humans was AMAZING (we would have like a little more pita bread because it was so good too!). We will definitely be back and were recommended to make reservations. Our bar tender Chris was very helpful with drink suggestions and tips about coming back. Looking forward to a return visit!

Probably the best speak easy/ nightclub I've ever been to. Everyone's dressed nice and so many spots for photo ops. If you get there before 10 it's free. Staff is very friendly. No ball park caps. Casual wear. Will definitely be back

I stopped by twice during my time in Philly, Once with a group of 6 and once with a group of 8. I highly recommend making a reservation ahead. Our first night, there was live piano music and our second night there was a someone singing. Overall, our group tried most of the drinks and we liked all Of them. My favorite drink was the showgirl-tini. This was a very sweet drink. I also enjoyed the Romeo and Juliet. If I'm back in the area, I would return.

We went with a couple of friends yesterday and think this place is perfect for organizing an event or socializing with others because of how lively it is. Drinks are good but the vibe is definitely the highlight of the place. The place is very ornate and beautifully decorated. The servers were constantly checking on us. Highly recommend the hummus platter - the hummus comes with chili oil which was a fantastic combo.

We came here to celebrate a friends birthday who recently moved to Philly! I was extremely impressed with everything. First thing I loved was that there was no cover charge and the line wasn't as long as we thought it was going to be. Thankfully we found a spot after waiting for a little bit. The atmosphere is great and the decor throughout the entire place is gorgeous! It kinda gives Great Gatsby! It's a great spot for photos (even the bathrooms lol). The only thing I have to say is that the drinks were extremely expensive. However, I couldn't complain too much because my "showgirl martini" aka pornstar martini was one of the best I've ever had. They had someone come around with a professional photo who randomly took a few photos of us and somewhat instructed us on how to pose which was really nice! Later they came around with a couple of the best that they got and offered us a physical and digital copy of it. I expected the price to be absolutely insane but it was around the same price of a cocktail so we bought it and I'm glad we did! The dance floor was fun and I loved the lighting. I thought the DJ was pretty good and it was a cool place to celebrate a friends birthday.

The service was exceptional and the cocktails were made very well. We got the lychee martini and it was not too sweet and came with rose petals. We were in the room with the live band which was very cute for a date night or even for a girls night. Apparently when it's busy the tables are only for reservations so I'd recommend making one before if you plan on sitting

This place is a perfect hidden gem in Center City Philadelphia. The ambience is absolutely incredible. The drinks are amazing and there are plenty of delicious alcohol free options if you're not a drinker. The staff is super friendly and there's something beautiful to look at everywhere you turn. Not only that but the lovely gentleman playing the piano was truly a highlight of our evening. Everyone here made our visit, absolutely extraordinary and I cannot wait to come back.

Fantastic speakeasy. Simply gorgeous, finishes and all. Enjoyed the live music (singer and pianist) and my spritz. Elegant place for a date or girls night.

Attended Annual Yelp Awards 2024 This place is Super COOL! Spacious and themed! I blended right in! Drinks were good and staff was helpful. Had a blast at the photo booth sponsored by Grand Marnier! Met some cool people as well.

Since it was the weekend, we had to wait in the lobby downstairs for about 15-20 minutes. Luckily, we made it up just in time to catch the sunset and take some amazing photos. We were also fortunate enough to find seats at the bar, but if you want guaranteed seating, it's definitely better to make a reservation in the main seating area. Overall Ratings Atmosphere - 5/5 Service - 5/5 Food - 5/5 Parking - Valet / Nearby Parking Atmosphere - The view is absolutely the star of the show. Watching the sunset over the city from this height creates an unforgettable experience, especially for a special occasion. The space itself feels upscale and lively without being overwhelming. Service - The service was excellent. Our bartender, Michael, made sure we were well taken care of throughout our visit. He was attentive, friendly, and added to the overall experience. My girlfriend especially appreciated the complimentary olives, which was a nice touch. What We Ordered - Old Fashioned (Very well balanced and smooth) Cucumber Martini (Refreshing and perfectly crafted) Final Thoughts - This was the perfect spot to celebrate a birthday. Between the stunning views, great drinks, and attentive service, it made for a memorable evening. I would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a great lounge experience in Philadelphia.

Selections: Oysters- very good, fresh and solid accompaniments. Steak tartare - good, fresh but lacked seasoning. Omelette - subpar - expected more of a french style and it also lacked seasoning. They forgot to add the creme fraiche. The caviar was good. French Toast w/fois gras - average - fois gras very under-seasoned and lacked a good sear. French toast was good.

Everyone we interacted with was absolutely wonderful and pleasant, ranging from the team members to our fellow patrons. I had a gin and Sprite to drink and I ordered the burger for some grub. The drink was standard but on the strong side. I enjoyed the burger very much and found the fries to be hot and crispy, just as a good shoestring fry should be. Of course, we enjoyed the live music that swirled around the bar that evening. The band was great and upbeat. I would definitely return!

Unfortunately, this was by far the worst experience I've had. We had a 7 PM reservation and arrived at 7:15 PM. I acknowledge that we were late and apologized to the host. However, we arrived within the stated grace period. When we checked in, the hostess explained that because we arrived later within the grace period, our 90-minute seating window would still end based on the original reservation time. We acknowledged that and had absolutely no issue with it. What made the experience uncomfortable was how aggressively we were reminded about the time throughout the entire meal. We were reminded at least 5-6 separate times how much time we had left. Comments like "just so you know you have 25 minutes left" and "our next party is coming in 5-10 minutes" made it feel like staff was actively trying to rush us out before our reservation time had even ended. Mind you, we already understood the policy. One reminder would have been enough. Instead, it completely changed the energy of the evening and made us feel unwelcome and pressured to leave. We had originally planned to stay through our reservation and then move to the bar for the live music afterward, but after being repeatedly rushed, we decided to leave entirely and spend the rest of the night elsewhere. The most disappointing part was the interaction with the manager, Eric. Rather than listening or showing any understanding, he immediately became defensive and aggressive. He repeatedly insisted we were "15-20 minutes late," which was simply not true -- we arrived during the stated grace period. The issue was never the policy itself. It was the way we were treated throughout the night. It's unfortunate because this has genuinely been one of my favorite spots in Philly, and I've recommended it to multiple people. But this experience left a really bad impression, especially when bringing guests from out of town.
