First, being bare as* on a strangers table in their home and having them address what they find to be your body flaws, is not only insulting, its unprofessional. Not to mention answering a call and speaking to the individual for several minutes mid massage, and loudly. I didn't come to be broken down. I didn't come to learn your family business. I came with a specific ache in mind and you didn't even hear me out. I won't be back. Just give her a call and she'll make room to see you. I stayed at the Marriot in Rancho Cordova Saturday evening because I had a paintball tournament at Capital Edge in Florin. On Tuesday, I twisted my back very badly while working in the garden and my regular masseuse just had an operation and was unavailable. I had refereed 3 soccer games that Saturday morning and the combination of 4 1/2 hours of running on terrible back pain caused my body to cramp badly. I was concerned about letting my team down, so I looked through yelp to find a massage therapist on one hour notice. Of course, I knew that this search could lead to unexpected and alarming results, so I looked closely at the yelp reviews and websites to find the correct vibe I was looking for and Inge just looked right to me. She was able to see me a half hour later, and sure enough she was just what I was looking for. I was a little concerned because her studio was at her house. But when she invited me in and showed me where she did her work, I immediately felt at ease. Inge was just what I needed. I was worried because she started off with a light touch, but sure enough, she eased me in to a much deeper technique. I have visited massage therapists since I was a teenager, and she is right up there with the best. She was able to find the problems that my superficial pain was covering up. Getting a massage places us in a very vulnerable place, but Inge made sure I felt comfortable, and is a true LEGITAMATE masseuse. If I lived closer to her, I would see her again. Inge is THE BEST massage therapist I have ever been to in my life. I had my first session with her this evening and it was an experience unlike one I have ever had before. I have been on pain killers for months and my body constantly aches. I walked out after our session with no pain, a strong posture, relaxed mind, and overall better attitude. I love how she has the holistic belief. I definitely believe in massage therapy and the affects it has on the body for healing and pain. I suffer from endometriosis and have constant chronic pain. It was fate in coming to see her. She has her own form of massage (which is out of this world) and she does it on her on time depending on how much you need the work of her hands. This is the best massage I have ever had. I have had many many massages and Inge is amazing. I work out quite a lot and have many old injuries that flare up from time to time from my 30 years of competitive horse riding. For the past few months I have unfortunately not been training a lot as a back and foot injury just wouldn't heal 100% even though I was resting and going to the physiotherapy, the chiropractor and acupuncturist. I found myself in Sacramento in need of a massage as I had just compete in the Spartan Super and I had the Spartan Sprint race the next day. By some miracle I got a last minute booking with Inge not only did I compete the next day but my back and foot pain are gone. Yes this is not the chi chi spa setting but her home is very inviting, the massage room is very calming and she is so easy to fully relax with. She does various kinds of treatments mixed together and now all I have to figure out now is an excuse to go back to Sacramento for another treatment it is well worth the 2 hour drive ha ha. read more
